We had an amazing time. The camp is beautiful. Cozy and gorgeous. Kids swam in the pond everyday. Close to coast for easy day trips. Mary was an amazing host. Hard to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this classic lakeside cabin. Like others, we spent all of our time on the porch! The house was well stocked and owner was very responsive. The lake was beautiful and clear, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing next to!

We love everything about this cottage and could stay all summer here! The water was perfect for swimming and we enjoyed the frogs, fireflies, fish, and of course the cry of the loons! Thank you Mary & Logan for another memorable week in Maine!

This rental was beyond amazing! I had a wide range of ages staying there with me (5+). We were all busy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, bike riding and watching the loons and eagles from the front porch all week. We never had to leave. It was so relaxing. I would definitely book this rental again.

Our week of relaxation at Young's Cottage on Togus Pond
Young's Cottage on Togus Pond has been a special getaway for my Friend Nancy, our dogs and me. My second visit and Nancy's first. All the amenities of home and more...like the screened in porch! That porch is feet away from the water. We had loons every day and evening come by to welcome us. One word for Mary and Logan's Cottage is "Serene". We spent most of our time on the Porch. We always had our morning coffee outside in the morning air. There are two smaller beds on the porch that you can take an afternoon nap if you need. My friend loved the porch so much she slept on it for most of our nights."Just like camping outside without the bugs! Thank you Mary & Logan for sharing your cottage with us. A little peace of Heaven. Wonderful Memories we will always Treasure!
Be well and stay safe. Nancy, Rizzo, Linda and Bentley.

Quiet and Relaxing Week
This was our third stay at Togus Pond (our second this year). We felt like we had the pond to yourselves, it was so quiet. The cottage is very clean and well stocked. Mary, the owner, is always helpful. Wish we could stay again!

Excellent rental and location
This cottage has everything that you need for a relaxing and peaceful vacation by a nice and quiet small lake. Mary has stocked the cottage incredibly well, with more than one would need to provide as a vrbo rental, including many kitchen items. The window aircon was much appreciate for the 2 weeks that we were there given it was in the nineties. The porch as others have said is where you will spend 90% of your time when in the house, the other rooms are good, but the porch is huge and overlooks the lake. As with all older cottages, it has its quirks, such as mainly older 2 pronged outlets, but Mary provides extension cords and adapters to make it work. The yard is open to the lake, and no neighbors on either side make it a quiet location. Definitely recommend

Calm setting and dog friendly
Great location and right on the water. There is no TV so if that’s important to you, bring some tech. WiFi was great and reliable. We really enjoyed the screened porch - such a relaxing setting. Also appreciate that the cottage was dog friendly. I love being able to bring my dogs along.

The Porch Makes It Special
Great place to stay whether you are looking for a home base while you explore the many wonders of Maine or want a quiet lakeside retreat. The screened porch is fabulous! If you head north on Route 3, be sure to try John's Ice Cream Factory in Liberty.

Tranquil Summer Stay In Maine
When we first got to the cabin, we dropped our bags and groceries on the porch and walked right out to the pond to take in the sunset. Muted pinks and sapphires of the sky reflected in the calm water. Birds and bugs of all shapes and sizes swooped down and back up into the trees. By nightfall, we were enjoying our dinner (local fiddleheads & scallops) on the covered porch and listening to the loons. Logan & Mary’s place is a gem in the woods - both inside and outside the cabin doors. We love the creaking wooden floors, the sweeping staircase, the vintage sink, birds’s nest outside the kitchen doors, cozy upstairs bedrooms with views of the pond... This cabin has been lovingly preserved with a mix of old world and modern conveniences - think brick fireplace, wood paneled ceilings along with a dishwasher and well-stocked kitchen. We loved exploring the woods and marshes all day and coming home to a shower and clean linens.
Thank you for our week in Maine!

Relaxing and quiet stay
My husband and I came here for our 10 year anniversary. Logan and Mary have been wonderful to work with. Coming from Ohio, we knew we would forget something. They have everything you can think of and things that didn't cross our minds. It was so nice to see and hear the loons and ducks calling each other and listening to the waves of the lake. Cannot wait to come back with the kids!

Fantastic socially-distant spot to vacation with incredible nature all around
We had a wonderful socially-distant vacation - you can spend all of your time at this lovely cabin and see new things every day. I braved the cold water by stepping right into Togus Pond and going for a quick wade. A beaver jumped into the water with me and swam past. We saw an incredible array of fall colors and a spectacular rainbow all from the porch.

Cool place with great lake view and access. Charming place with modern amenities. Feels so remote and private, but is located conveniently close to Augusta. Would definitely stay again.

My Short Getaway to Young's Point Cottage on Tugus Pond
Loved the cottage. To me it was more than a cottage. Plenty of room to spread out. Very warm and inviting to just sit and relax which is hard for me. Always on the go! Loved the screened in porch over looking the pond. I got up early on my last morning to see the sun rise...wow! Seeing the sun come up over the pond was so serene. Loons swimming by sang their song. Mary and Logan's cottage sits on a large piece of wooded property along the pond with no houses on top of you. Space to breathe. So peaceful and quiet. Wonderful neighboorhood with respectful folks. The cottage was well supplied so if you forgot something, it mostly would be there for your use. Mary and Logan thought of just about everything. All I had to do was bring my food for me and my dog and his doggy bed. Very comfy bed and plenty of extra blankets for snuggling up with on a chilly night. Wonderful hosts. Highly recommend (5 stars) and I will stay again in the near future. Thank you Mary and Logan. Linda and pup Bentley from southern Maine.

Second Stay
This was our second time at the camp and again we loved our stay. It was great hearing and seeing the loons. We brought our canoe and could easily launch it right off the stairs near the pond. My 9 year old grandson told me he loved the feel of the camp. We will be soon buying a house in Maine but my son (who lives in Augusta) wants me to reserve this camp in the future since we had such great relaxing family fun here. The owners are wonderful communicators. I do hope that I can return here in the future.

Cottage is exactly as advertised, peaceful and relaxing
The Cottage is well stocked and furnished with anything that you need or may have forgotten. What a beautiful spot on the water! Great fishing and kayaking. The owners were great and allowed us to move a couple of our kayaks to the property earlier than check-in so we wouldn't have to make two trips later in the evening. Well worth the value!

Lovely Cottage on the Lake
We had a wonderful week at the cottage on Togus Pond. Everything was just as it is listed. Mary was a very helpful host and answered all of my questions promptly. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Most of our days were spent relaxing on the large screened in porch. We also went kayaking, and our dog loved swimming in the pond. We were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful the pond was even on the weekend. We definitely hope to return.

Quiet and Relaxing Week at the Pond
A perfect camp right on the water. The screened in porch was just what I was hoping for! Located near Augusta, but away from any real noise (including neighbors) on a dead end street that was great for walking the dog. Everything was in great shape, plenty of space and kitchen supplies. Definitely bring your spices and condiments though. Water access was great - easy to get the kayaks in and out but water shoes suggested. WiFi was handy - brought a laptop for a movie night. Gas grill and campfire were a big hit too!
Mary was a wonderful host and quickly replied to any questions. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Wonderful Cottage on Lake.
This is the third or fourth time staying at this cottage and I can't say enough good things about. Clean, cozy, fully equipped kitchen, fire pit, comfortable beds, beautiful screened in porch over looking the lake and excellent owners. I can't wait to go back.

A little piece of heaven
Our experience with renting this property was an unbelievable pleasant and positive one. It's right on the lake so with the autumn colors and Maine's crisp air along with the loons calling, it was just absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Everything was so thought of for supplies and stocked that we didn't need anything. Our dogs came with us
on our road trip and this was a first for them and they had such a wonderful time playing in the leaves and the lake and relaxing with us in the screenhouse everynight. We played games and just relaxed and was actually thankful for the time away from tv and computer etc. Along came the nor Easter and then we lost power, had no water nor heat so the owners were so generous enough to pay for a hotel for our last night so we and our furbabies would be safe and warm. The people in Maine were so accommodating to us and so nice that this IS THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE!!!
Sincerely,
Terri Lynn and Laura Lillibridge

We had such a wonderful weekend in Augusta! The cottage was quiet, clean, and spacious. It was close enough to town for a last minute grocery run but we spent the rest of our time reading on the porch, swimming, or by the fire. Beautiful! Thank you for having us!
