A comfortable room, decent in size. Felt safe and secure and the lady checking me in was friendly and welcoming.
Good WiFi and a decent sized desk/table.
A fridge and herbal teas on offer (rare in the 8 previous accommodations I'd stayed in!).
Lovely walk into Oxford - a fair distance, and I couldn't sort the buses, but fortunately I love walking so the 3kms was ok and relatively flat. Really nice walk along the canal if you take Elizabeth Jennings Way into the City Centre.
Grateful for the free parking - limited parking in the car park on site, but there is street parking on the street around the side (and that was right out the front of my room).
Mattress and pillows were not the comfiest and no top sheet on the bed! Only a bottom sheet and doona/quilt/duvet. This means when you are warm (those polyester coverings are warm) you cannot toss it back as then you have no covering over you! Why don't people use top sheets??
Check-out is 10am, earlier than other locations.

We had 3 engineers stay at the accommodations whilst installing air conditioning within a shop in Oxford City Centre. The location was spot on for what we needed.
The rooms were spacious with a lot of amenities to ensure our engineers were able to have a comfortable stay.
We would definitely book again, when working in Oxford.
Cheers -LP Air Conditioning!

A beautiful and peaceful location in North Oxford, a short walk to Summertown and a brief bus or taxi ride into the centre of Oxford. We were met with a very warm welcome and the room was incredibly well-equipped, very clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. It was just the perfect overnight stay for our university friends reunion. Thank you for having us!
Couldn’t fault anything.

The room was nice and clean and the amenities were useful. I had a microwave, a fridge and a basin in my room. Perfectly decent room and not too far for me to get to where I needed to go in Oxford City Centre.
Utterly overpriced and totally NOT value for money and definitely NOT luxurious in any shape or form.
I was so excited to stay here and actually paid around £230 for 2 nights thinking I'd be getting something special. But it wasn't special. It was a typical, fairly small guesthouse bedroom with some kitchen amenities and a small bathroom and shower. I think what annoyed me, was the idea I'd be getting something luxurious for my money, which I definitely DIDN'T!
I just felt I was being ripped off entirely. Apparently I was to "soak in the love" that the owner has for her guests but even before I stayed there I got a long message telling me that if anything got broken or lost how much it would cost me! If you dare to lose the key, it's £45 and if you STEAL the crystal lamp in reception that'll be £100. You basically feel told off from the start and there isn't a HINT of luxury or feeling cared about. And actually what you get is CHARGED for EVERYTHING (see photos). It's just all about the money. The snacks that are there have to be paid for. There is NOTHING given to you for free. Not even a pint of milk or a bottle of water (see photo of prices you have to pay). And the teabags are plain old PG Tips - nothing luxurious. Even the concept of having luxurious bath bombs etc is so that the host can SELL you yet more stuff.
When I arrived I was met with a FAIRLY friendly receptionist who informed me that fridges are often not as cold as ones you get at home after I told her the fridge didn't seem that cold! I was then told that breakfast would be £12 for a CONTINENTAL breakfast so I declined.
The TV is small, the curtains are thin, there is condensation on the inside of the windows, the walls are bare and boring, the fridge was not that cold and then later very cold and you don't feel any sense of being looked after by the host.
Just because it's Oxford is not an excuse to rip people off.

Very swift check in and check out with friendly staff greeting me at the door. I was offered assistance with my bags from the very first touchpoint. The place was easy to find via Google maps. The room was extremely spacious, much more space than I thought I'd get in Oxford. Very clean amenities, full length mirror, dining table with chairs and a stocked mini fridge.
The snack selection could have been a bit better - mostly crisps and chocolate - something like olives or fruit and nuts could have been nice options as well. Definitely not a deal breaker though as I didn't spend too much time in the room anyways.

Clean large room with kitchenette
The bed base is very old, missing one leg and makes allot of noise each time I turn.

The room was exceptionally quiet, clean, and well-lit, creating a cozy atmosphere. Although the chairs were a bit low for reaching the table comfortably for someone of shorter stature like myself, it did not significantly impact my stay. The highlight was the hospitality; the manager and the reception staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, making me feel right at home. Additionally, the hotel is located in a quiet part of Oxford, yet public transport is within a 2- minute walking distance, and you can reach the city center under a 10-minute bus ride.
One minor inconvenience was the electric socket configuration. The sockets in the room are three-pin, which can make charging your phone or laptop a bit tricky if you have two-pin plugs. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide adapters or have some available for guests who may not bring their own.

The staff were welcoming, parking was available at the premises, room nice and clean, quiet location 10 min bus ride north of the city center so no need to move the car. Recommended!

We received a very warm welcome and the room was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 teens. The kitchenette allowed us to have dinner in the room after a long day and breakfast the next day. it’s ideally located as the centre of the city is only a short drive away.

Great layout - spacious and private room with beautiful window towards the sky and the street. The room we stayed have a lovely bath, which was perfect after a long day of traveling. The hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood, so you can take a nice morning walk in the town and there are some nice bakeries around. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel, where you can get to Oxford city center in 5 mins.
Nothing much.
- Little interesting decor.
- The room door lock can be more secure.
