Very good hotel in excellent location.

Mid range Hotel in excellent location. Like most people we met in Laos the staff could not be more helpful. Advising us on the area and how to change money to organising tours and taxis. Breakfast ,included was excellent.

Decor was a little tired and dated and the property would benefit from rewiring. The fan in the bathroom had exposed taped wires. Health and safety are not big in Laos.

Good location but be aware there is a lot of work going on in the hotel.

Location was great, the breakfast was good, the staff were very helpful. The rooms were confortable.

The pool area didn't look very safe for kids to run around. Also, there is a lot of work going on at the moment and at times, the entrance of the hotel didn't feel safe for children.

Wonderful staff in oasis of calm.

Absolute oasis of calm, tranquility and relief from the heat. The staff are exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful and ensured my stay was easy and comfortable. The room was large and cool, with a fridge, kettle and tea / coffee. The breakfast was quite basic but fresh and tasty. I loved the pool, although small it was good for swimming or just cooling down.

Beyond expectations

Ideally situated, walking distance from lots of sites. Great to be able to sit outside and pause from the sightseeing....a lovely environment. Lovely staff. Good breakfast and lovely place to eat: outside by the Lily pond.

I really can't think of anything! Excellent value: if you're expecting a 5 star hotel, this isn't it, but if you're looking for clean, comfortable, near to the centre of town, breakfast included...Villa Oasis gives far more than you were expecting. I'll be back!

Would definitely recommend the hotel and the fact it had a pool was an added benefit.

Great location and the staff were super helpful.

I know there were loads of places to eat in and around hotel but it would have been nice if they had served some food

La ubicación es ideal. A pocos metros del night market. Piscina agradable y zonas comunes al aire libre alrededor de una pequeña laguna que alegra la vista. El desayuno aceptable con varias opciones para cubrir todas las necesidades. Personal super amable, con ganas y motivación para ayudar a todos los huéspedes.

La ducha se inundaba un poco, la terraza de la habitación sin encanto. La puerta de la terraza difícil de abrir debido al césped artificial mal puesto. Necesita un poco de mantenimiento en algunas instalaciones. Precio algo elevado para ser Laos

Bonito lugar para alojarse

El trato del personal y la rápida respuesta cuando les pregunte algo antes de llegar. Fueron muy atentos en toda nuestra estancia.

La habitación familiar era un poco vieja, creo que era una de las habitación que quedaban por reformar y se notaba. El baño también estaba muy antiguo.

Absolutely gem..a real oasis. Tucked away from the main road yet only a short walk to the night market, this hotel is a real find. Our family of 4 loved the breakfast (great smoothies!) overlooking the lily pond, the warm big swimming pool and the sweetest staff ever! We didn't want to leave.

Only a one night stay , comfortable

Great location, clean tidy small room , good shower. Only stayed one night so unable to expand and comment for a longer period stay. Staff very helpful and well spoken English . Good money changer close by at one of the gold shops.

Mix of excellent features with some drawbacks.

Very mixed impressions with some awesome features and some less favorable. Firstly, the staff were just fantastic. If there were a Nobel Prize for hospitality, I would nominate them. Second, I loved the complimentary bicycles. Made it easy to just hop on and ride around without worrying about how many hours or days to book for. Location was fantastic as well: Short walk to many sites and shops, but in a very quiet location with lovely grounds with the lotus ponds. Breakfast was decent and our room was nice sized as well. Now for the drawbacks...

The family room was nice and big, but a bit dusty when we arrived with a couple of insects we had to sweep away. The fridge looked dingy and the bathroom was kind of spartan. The kids really felt that the soap had a strange smell. We didn't have hot water (although we should have asked right away if there was a switch or something) and one evening the water pressure was minimal. The pool was so simple as to be kind of uninviting. Overall, based on the reviews and photos, I was expecting just a little more luxury. Don't misunderstand, we enjoyed our stay and when we had an extra night in Luang Prabang we just extended our stay rather than move to another place. So it was fine, but again, just not as good as I had expected. But the staff (and the bicycles and location) were just great.

Exceptional

Staff were exceptional, always smiling, friendly and so helpful. They really made our stay excellent. The property is really nice and situated close to restaurants and shops. Room was nice.

WiFi is TERRIBLE. I couldn't even send photos to my family.

Amazing place! great staff, very good location

Love literally everything about the place. Extremely professional, kind, welcoming staff. During the day we got fresh, delicious lemonade. Staff also helped us book our train tickets. Delicious breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable. At the end we got gift from the hotel - beautiful handmade bag. Recommend this place.

Superb

A great friendly hotel close to the centre of town. Staff were outstanding, especially the reception staff members. Offered a free drink each time we arrived back from sightseeing.

Unfortunately, there were issues with the air-conditioner, which wasn't great in 40-degree days. They did fix it though, and the hotel is currently going through some renovations so I am sure it will be fine.

Great location for all tourist sites

The staff were really friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for the night Market, Wats and other tourist sites.

We booked a room with a balcony but didn't get one and the WiFi in the room was weak or non-existant. The breakfast was OK if you were early but there was little replenishment throughout the service.

Peaceful haven in Central luang Prabang

Lovely quiet small hotel set back by a tranquil lily pond, I enjoyed watching the fish at breakfast. Welcome drinks daily which was very thoughtful and upon check in staff went through a map to recommend places to visit etc. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only a 5 min walk to the night market. Free bikes to use. Staff quickly arranged us a waterfall tuk tuk and to the train station. Special mention for Sang who really seems to be working very hard!

It is a little dated, but that doesn't take away from all the positives mentioned above

Wonderful stay

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally nice and friendly, and helped us book tours and transport. Room and amenities were very clean and well-maintained. Our family suite was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent (just be sure to be up earlier as it is a buffet). Laundry service was good too. The location was within 5-10 minute walk of all major attractions. The night market is really nearby. Highly recommend!

Everything was great. One small thing - maybe the hairdryer in our room could be replaced as it no longer functional.

Great location and staff. Breakfast was good - tip - if buffet running low you can ask for, or they may offer, a menu. Beers standard pricing - imagine other drink similarly priced. Short walk to the nigbt market and main Wats. Pool pleasant with towels.
