Good student housing

Typical Edinburgh student housing, with shared kitchen per five rooms, and other facilities (like laundry) in main central building. Better servicing of rooms and other areas than comparable residences I've stayed in. Good variety of bus links to city centre. Comfortable bed, fantastic shower. Helpful staff, reception manned later than 'advertised'. Quieter than most student residences, doors close slowly

Für kurze Aufenthalte gut geeignet.

Die Mitarbeitenden war alle sehr freundlich. Ich konnte meinen Koffer vor der Check-In Zeit an der Rezeption abgeben und die Stadt erkunden. In der Nähe befinden sich viele schöne Geschäfte und zwei Supermärkte. Die Stadt ist zu Fuß 20 Minuten entfernt. Das Zimmer beinhaltete alles notwendige. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und auch keinen Fernseher. Die Gemeinschaftszimmer, wie die Küche, habe ich nicht genutzt.

Leider waren das Zimmer und das Bad nicht sehr sauber. Man könnte daher noch an der Gründlichkeit arbeiten. Außerdem sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Zudem ging auf einmal der Feueralarm los. Darüber wurde ich vorher nicht informiert und war dementsprechend etwas erschrocken. Aber dieser ging nach einer Minute von alleine wieder aus.

De ligging in de stad is prima Parking aanwezig

Gezamenlijke keuken/ruimte met bankje is fijn, maar niet erg schoon. Is ook wel de bedoeling dat de gasten het netjes achterlaten. Kamer en bed is klein, maar wisten we van te voren

Good location with two supermarkets and lots of cafes nearby, walking distance from main attractions. Friendly staff, clean.

Great value for simple room during the Fringe

The car park and location is great and very reasonable for the price. Staff were helpful, and someone was available 24/7.

No bin in the room, one flat pillow and the rooms were quite warm. Didn't really bother us as we only slept there and then ventured out again but it is notable.

Comfortable, clean and great value for money

We stayed during the fringe festival in August and was exactly what we needed - a comfy, clean, bed. The facilities aren’t fancy but it is very comfortable and great value for money when you look at the prices of other accommodation during the month of august in Edinburgh. The staff were lovely and helpful and the location was great, there is a bus stop only 5 minutes walk away that will bring you straight into the city.

Beaverbank place, summer 2023

It was nice for the price. Had a lovely time here, we spent most of the time we were in Edinburgh outside so the lack of facilities in the room was not an issue, it was also to be expected due to researching the place before we booked. We had an excellent stay. 10/10

Although hardly a massive issue, the water pressure was really poor, but who cares really, I had a nice time.

Ok para 1. Para 2 imposible. Pongo un 8 por el precio

Ubicación junto a la casa de mi hijo. También junto a un Lidl.

Lo reservamos como habitación doble, qye era una opción, y tanto la habitación como la cama eran diminutas: imposible 2 personas estar en esa habitación. Tuvimos que cambiar la reserva a dos individuales. El precio se duplicó ya que costaba igual individual que doble. No hubo descuentos.

La cama era extremadamente incomoda, además de tener un tamaño pequeño para 2 personas, el colchón literalmente se hundía hacía el centro. El ruido era lo peor para poder descansar, portazos continuos que impedían el descanso. Limpieza al límite. No lo recomiendo para nada, sobre todo si se va a pasar más de una noche.

Good value for money in Fringe season

Really welcoming staff, clean room, access to kitchen with all the necessary cutlery etc. Decent location for the price (15-ish minutes drive/taxi into the city centre but also walkable) considering how pricey everywhere else is during the Fringe.

The light in the bathroom was faulty and kept rapidly flashing on and off every time the bathroom door was opened - showering and using the loo felt like being stuck in a rave! Bed was small and not the comfiest but for the price it was fine.

Student basic accommodation - good value

Cheaper than hotels, basic services, centrally located (short bus ride to old town) Two large stores close by. Serveral cafes serving breakfast short walk away. car park. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Option to have TV in room would have been nice, but not expected.

Basic, clean affordable en suite accommodation in Edinburgh

Staying in a student room (in a flat of 5 rooms) worked really well. It was clean, the en-suite was good, shower good. There is a kitchen in the flat where you can store and cook food which saved money on buying expensive coffees in the morning. This is basic accommodation, but suited our needs just right. Check in staff really helpful.

Clean, modern, comfortable, great value for Fringe

It was great - comfortable, clean and modern and 20 minutes or so walking distance from the Fringe. Great value for money during the Fringe. Lots of space on desk and shelving for all my stuff. Bathroom was a bit small but they always are in the UK! Right near a Lidl, which was also great, although obviously no fridge in room.

Got a bit warm but was fine with window cracked. Could be a bit confusing finding the right door at first (doors within doors with the same numbers). No room around the bed, but fine for one person just to sleep (and plenty of storage space).

Disponibilidade da receção 24 h. Possibilidade de acesso à cozinha sem pagamento adicional.

Cama pequena para duas pessoas e muito desconfortável. Mobiliário (cadeira de secretária com estofo danificado) do quarto em mau estado. Cabine de duche pequena e com a água intermitente sempre a ligar e desligar. Foi necessário pedir saco para lixo porque não havia qualquer recipiente para lixo disponível no quarto. Quarto próximo da cozinha e muito sujeito a barulho.

Habitaciones individuales de estudiantes cama 120 que venden como dobles sin

Son todas habitaciones individuales con cama de 120 aunque anuncian 135 y 140 que venden para 2 personas. Difícil conciliar sueño por tratarse de apartamentos compartidos donde se escucha todo. Sin ventilación con ventanas bloqueadas. Sólo 1 línea de bus a menos de 5 minutos con pocas frecuencias prepárate a caminar.

Good clean basic accommodation - only needed somewhere to sleep as there for Edinburgh Fringe

Being student accomodation the beds are small - just small doubles. And bit creaky so not the comfiest!
