L'aigua de la dutxa sortia tèbia, no sortia calenta.

Nice location to relax in with a pint after a long day out. The decor and views were nice. The food was ok, but it's probably usually much better but it was Easter and really busy, which I think affected the quality. Parking was good and easy. The size of the room was great, the kids had their private little room with a skylight.
The hotel / restaurant was very under-staffed which made the service very slow. Our simple dinner took 3 hours. The bathroom was very noisy because of the ventilation and after flushing the toilet it sounded like a ship was blowing its horn for a minute. The shower was pumping hot and cold water in turns.

Fabulous location sea view room very comfortable and clean. This place has had a serious makeover and is immaculate, tastefully decorated really nice
The food was very good. Could do with upping their game as regards the desserts that were offered, a wee bit of home cooked would have been nice . All in all very good lovely atmosphere.

The view from our room towards sea and Giants Causeway was fantastic. The breakfast excellent with various options, buttermilk pancakes with berries and creme fraiche to die for, waitress very friendly and nothing a problem. Guy at checkin reception also very attentive whole stay was first class.

The staff was amazing. Everyone so nice and polite, made us feel very welcome and also heard and seen. Our room was very big with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was great. Liked the fact that we could pick up things ourselves from the buffet and also order from the menu.
The double bed was too small for two adults. I had to move to the single one. Also the beds were quite hard. Shower in the morning didn’t have too much hot water left. I would have liked to be able to walk to Bushmills, but there is no sidewalk for that. Getting a taxi can be difficult.

Smugglers Inn was the perfect location for our trip to the Carrick-a-Rede Bridge experience (about 15 minutes away), the Giant's Causeway (about 5 minutes away), and Bushmill's Distillery (about 5 minutes away.) We also had a wonderful experience having to wait for a herd of sheep to be transferred from a farm nearby to shearing. We all, especially the teens, enjoyed witnessing that! We rented two rooms, both with wonderful views of the nearby village and the meadows out to the sea. The view of the sunset here over the water was spectacular. And it happened about 10 to 10:30 at night! We had about 17 hours of daylight here in June. Our beds were great. The rooms and most of the rest of the inn have been renovated since our previous stay here 10 years ago. The bathrooms and bedrooms have all been updated and modernized. We had breakfast and supper here. The breakfast was satisfying with the options of having a complete, cooked full Irish breakfast, pancakes or a continental breakfast, included with the rooms. The dinner (supper) was additional. The dinner menu had variety and everyone agreed that their choice was good--all of them.
We liked everything. Just a few notes to Americans. Remember that most stays (even some hotels) here do not have air conditioning or screens on their windows. We opened our windows and were completely satisfied with the breeze. There was a little traffic at night because the Inn is on the coastal highway but not enough to keep us awake. The only thing we didn't have (and the teenage girls would have liked) is a hair dryer provided by the Inn because our converter did not work here.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, the staff, the rooms and the food offered. Plenty of car parking was available.
Leaving the following morning!

Excellent location, dinner and breakfast first class
A few issues which we reported. Since each one was handled by the staff with efficiency and courtesy, don’t see the need to mention them here. Always best to talk direct rather than criticise online. I think that a few words have been tweaked in the hotel description that mean others are unlikely to have the same issues

spacious, clean room. loved the shower. breakfast was lovely. Excellent location
it’s a pity there isn’t a bar and when we came back at around midnight we were locked out of the hotel. we didn’t know we were supposed to leave our key.

The view from our room.
Just like going back in time decor, furniture and staff everything was sooo dated. The bed was very uncomfortable, breakfast was terrible a small table with warm juices, and milk for my cereal no yogurts or fruit available. Staff are alot to be desired not bothered with us. We waited ages on toast to be told they only have 1 toaster. The staff took our breakfast order down wrong. We had decided to have dinner here during our stay what a mistake just reheated cheap pub grub. I can only assume they survive through non returning tourists. Needless to say we will not be returning a shame because it is in a lovely area of the country.

Very convenient location for the Giant’s Causeway and the Coastal Drive. Comfortable rooms if fairly standard mid range facilities but everything was there as expected for the price range. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Nothing to dislike; there just wasn’t anything exceptional about the stay at this inn that I’d really tell my friends and family.
