Amazing location and very welcoming host. The host sent us a lot of very useful
Information. The house is ideally situated, right on the beach with a lot of restaurants walking distance. It’s very peaceful and relaxing.

The Sunhaus location was perfect. It was 50 feet from the beach, in the middle of a row of shops and restaurants in Perissa Beach. Having just come from a few days in Oia, this was a great change of pace to get a different feel for the other side of the island. Upon getting out of our taxi, we were met by one of our hosts, Sarah, who let us into our room immediately, even though we were a few hours before our check-in time. The place was great for a family of four, our two kids being 10 and 12. Our unit had a separate bedroom, a large family room with connected kitchen, full bath off the kitchen, with a loft above the family room with two beds for the kids. There is also a little balcony (unofficial I think) out of the loft that the kids enjoying climbing out on. I would police the younger ones as they could easily get into trouble, but my kids are old enough to not jump off roofs. It was great for looking at the night sky. After our first night, we did some laundry the following morning and met the owner. Without asking, he offered for us to use his personal drying rack and helped us to hang things up. Over the course of our stay, he gave me a tour of the property which has been around since the 1930s, even though it was quite modern and kept up very nicely. The property was used by the Greek Navy as a field hospital when there was a big earthquake on the island in the 1950s, and there is painted stone in the gate entryway indicating this. It was a really neat bit of history and the property was visited by the Greek Prime Minister back then. All-in-all, it was a great value, especially compared to our also incredible place in Oia - but with two kids - this was a better family vibe. Bonus tip - if like us, you have a flight out later in the day, you can rent a car in the village there at Romano's and drop it off at the airport. We did this and did some sightseeing on the rest of the island.
Only thing I can think of is the a/c in the master. Either we didn't know how to work it, or it wasn't functioning properly. The main air in the big room works very well, so it wasn't much of an issue.

We stayed at Sunhaus apartment for one night, November 30, and enjoyed our stay very much! This is a historic dwelling as an original generational hamlet of the town. The apartment was perfect for our overnight. The host delightful, helpful and available. It was chilly but we still went into the ocean for a quick dip. The black beach was beautiful, fun and rocky. The apartment was very clean and directly across the street from the beach. Since this is off season, not many restaurants are open but the bakery in town is absolutely awesome! (Fresh juices, lunch/dinner baked items and delicious pastries) and we could keep our food in the full kitchen. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We rented a car to get to Perissa from the airport. No reasonable bus option. The single track hiking trailhead to the top of Ancient Thera and also the monastery is within walking distance-it is a steep hike. The archeological site was closed the day we went but because it was off season, we were the only people there-literally, we saw only the gatekeeper at the closed Ancient Thera site on our 1.5 hour hike up to the monastery. (You can drive up to these places from the other side.) Thank you Sunhaus for a great visit!

The apartment is very quiet, functional, beautifully decorated, a stone's throw from the beach but still very calm. Exactly where you want to be located. Two aircon units. The host is fantastic, very friendly and accommodating, great to talk to. We had an evening return flight and after a day on the beach we could shower and get changed at her adjacent house before our departure. Excellent, friendly, no-nonsense service.
One small minus could be the second bedroom's quite warm temperature as it's higher and above the kitchen. But there is an aircon unit in the space (living room) so that solves it.

The hosts arranged the airport pickup and we were taken directly to the accommodation.
Nothing that comes to my mind.

Perfect location and accommodation - surpassed our expectations. The house had everything we needed and was cleaned daily, we loved the super comfortable bed and the coffee machine 😁 But the best thing was Akis the host, who provided a great servise and was great company - thank you Akis!!
It was perfect!

Akis, the host, was amazing! He was able to accommodate my early check in request, and checked in on me to see how I was doing. He also had recommended me some places for where I should go for breakfast and dinner. When I mentioned to him that I was going back to Fira, he ended up taking me there the next day which was very kind for the host to do! Overall, the apartment itself was very nice; it had all of the necessities you would need to feel like you where at home! Bed & sofa was very comfy, and if you wanted to watch Netflix, you where able to cast using their TV with your phone device.
Nothing; everything was amazing.

We loved everything about our stay.
to start with, the hosts (we met Akis in person and Irini throught mails only) are very kind people, comprehensive and easy to communicate with.
They gave us all the advice and booked a taxi beforehand and at our arrival Akis was so nice to drive us to the supermarket so that we could do enough shopping for a week.
The house itself is well-equipped, stylish and ergonomic. Outside is absolutely beautiful with the sea view that you can enjoy non stop as the house is almost on the beach. Amazing and unique opportunity to go to the sea and come back all the time.
The place is super baby-friendly, my 10mo got not only a baby bed and a high chair but also a stroller and plenty of toys!
another unexpected but very pleasant bonus is everyday cleaning service, and the cleaning person is also lovely and friendly.
all was great

We wanted to experience a more authentic Santorini and this was the place for it. Looking back, it was an ideal place to relax, be very very close to the beach and live in a traditional Cycladic house. Perissa is one of the best beaches on the island (blue flag, fine black sand, mountain view). Ireni and Akis were the most amazing hosts and the whole experience was very close to our hearts. Would love to return soon!

The house is just on the main Road of the beach. But the patio is towards the back, so it is very relaxing. We enjoyed the eating out so close. There are very good tips from the host. And your smoothies in the morning you can get from next door cafe, who is owned by the sister of the host.
It was just perfect for our family stay

What a fantastic location and likeable hosts! Clean, quiet, right across the road, separating you from the beach, with access to restaurants and cafes around. I really appreciated the airco, which is using water for cooling - the air is not so dry; just keep it running all day and no need to run an extra airco (which is an option, but we never had to use it). Wandering around the area ensured me we chose the best possible location. Veeeery nice hosts, fantastic contact and a chat, worth enquiring about the history of the front building. Two thumbs up, if I ever come back to southern Santorini, I will stay there. Wholeheartedly recommended. June 2021 was really nice, not so many tourists yet.

This is an amazing home standing just steps from the Aegean Sea. From the moment we booked this trip we had great communication with the hosts, a lovely couple Irini and Akis. They both did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible - from giving us suggestions for local restaurants to helping us with booking excursions. They were an example of Greek hospitality. We are definitely coming back!!!
We liked everything.

Sunhaus is located on Perissas promenade, it's just a few steps to the beach. The communication with Irini and Akis was easy and very friendly. They were great hosts and even provided us with plenty of toys for our son to play with and all the children's equipment we needed. The apartment was very clean. We couldn't have picked a better place for our Santorini vacation. Thank you!

Very nice owners. Great service. The apartment is right on the beach. Very clean interior and everything is working. Air conditioning throughout the building. The building and the apartamet are in classical Greek style. In the evening, the view of the water is unique. I heartily recommend this place!☺
