The cottage was very spacious and clean. We fell in love with it as soon as we walked in the door.
It’s a proper home from home and a super base to explore the local area around it.
The whole cottage is kitted out with everything you may need and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch.
We loved our mini-moon here and would definitely come again.
A few of the light bulbs need replacing.

A fabulous cottage in a lovely area. The welcome hamper was first class.

The cottage was lovely, a comfy bed, cozy lounge, fantastic hamper awaiting in the kitchen which was a nice surprise. It was the detail that made it. Having milk, butter and a loaf of bread there meant we still had a chance to enjoy a cup of tea and toast even though we forgot to buy milk.

gorgeous property very nicely decorated! although we didn’t actually meet the host they couldn’t of done more. welcome basket on arrival with Prosecco, crisps, bread, jam and a terrys chocky orange! very spacey property inside with a stunning courtyard outside. just wish we’d had longer there, will definitely be returning! could rant about this stay for ages, stay of the year!

A really well equiped cottage, probably the best I have stayed in. It looked lovely and was spacious. Really good for exploring the Derbyshire dales from, with private parking. Exceptional. I still have more to explore in the area around the cottage, therefore will be back.
Nothing. There was nothing to dislike about this cottage, everything was exceptional.

Everything! The cottage is beautifully decorated and made to feel homely. The welcome basket was lovely. Great location, perfect for exploring the Peak District and some great walks from the cottage. There is also a pub serving food (good pub food) within a few minutes walk.
Nothing, we will be back! The only thing I would say is it could do with a few pegs by the front door for wet coats.

All furnishings and equipment were of the highest quality and the cottage was very comfortable.
The location was perfect - very peaceful and quiet, and the Welcome hamper was an unexpected pleasure :-)

The host for this property was brilliant, even ordering fans for the hot weather! The cottage is superb, immaculate, comfortable and had everything we needed. 10/10

Tastefully decorated, and really well equipped with everything that we could need. Welcome basket was a lovely touch too. The location was great and a lovely quiet area.
Our teenage sons found the upstairs rooms very hot even though the roof windows were open. The weather was extremely hot during our stay. A couple of fans would have alleviated
These are minor issues and did not detract from our stay.
If there had been big issues then we would have contacted host; details were in the welcome folder - cannot fault the thought gone into the decor and equipment/ provisions in the cottage.

Comfortable and had some lovely touches.
Very clean and top quality bedding.
1)Car parking under the tree caused problems with bird droppings.
2)Also there is only one tv so my son who wanted to use his PS4 on the rainy day was frustrated that he couldnt use it in the other room. Perhaps another tv is useful in case children are with a couple.
Oh and there wasn’t tin foil- but that is very minor and we managed fine.
Thanks for everything.

A Beautiful hamper awaited us in a very well equipped clean and immaculate Cottage in very good condition. Excellent location in the Peak District in the beautiful countryside. Everything was most thoughtfully provided in the Cottage.
I requested the Owner Julie to allow us to check in a little earlier and later but I was disappointed there was no flexibility at all. Julie was not even willing to listen to me speak when I was trying to tell her we would leave the place neat and clean and asked for 30 min to 1 hour more.
Impossible to find the Cottage with given directions as there are no signs. We had to stop after going around several times and asking a neighbour. No property sign is most inconvenient.

Fantastic easy instructions/directions from Julie (the lovely owner). Parking was totally fine for us. No problems at all. Key box worked perfectly on arrival. Generous and thoughtful welcome hamper. A really top quality holiday cottage in an amazing area with spectacular views on your doorstep, and within a few minutes drive to pretty Bakewell, plus a pub with great views a 5 minute walk from Juniper Cottage. Top class bedding and quality furnishings. The owner has thought of everything you will need and more. It was immaculately clean on arrival. By far one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in and we are intending to go back as soon as we can. Massive thank you to Julie for letting us stay in the delightful Juniper Cottage....10/10
