good location but needs attention

The location was good. close to the Esplanade for walking also close to shops and easy walk for Trams.

When walking into the property, there was a very musty smell needing to have both front and back entrances open to air the place. When arriving at the property, the front entrance verandah looked like it hadn’t been swept for a very long time with leaves everywhere. The property was not clean, there are cobwebs, the bathroom fan cover is filthy. The towels were very thin. There was only a thin Doona on the bed, the doona cover has a rip in it and the blanket from the cupboard had a disgusting smell. The washing machine needs instructions to work and very difficult to operate and open. The place is quaint but needs much attention to it and needs the input of a good design person to bring the presentation of the place up to speed.

Satisfying, would come again

Wi Fi. Comfortable bed. Superb cleanliness. Short walk to a supermarket and great bakery

Needed a cake of soap in the bathroom. Only 2 towels for 2 people for 12 days when it was raining and towels didn't dry ... Let smart would not supply 2 more towels or replace the wet ones when I asked. When emails arrived, they were cumulative.... and any new, and important information was at the very end. It took me some time to realize that and I when I opened emails, I believed I had already received that email, so did not read any further and missed vital requests. It works better when new info is at the beginning of an email

Great spot to stay for easy access to Glenelg and Adelaide.

Historic terrace cottage type building on single level. Old but renovated tastefully. Clean with everything needed for a self contained stay. Good location. Quiet street.

A bit cold and hard to heat when we are not used to cold weather. The requirements for credit card and licence images after booking are a bit over the top. I understand accomodation places need to protect themselves but I’m not a fan of uploading personal data. An extra blanket or two in the drawers wouldn’t go astray.

WWe found the quaintness of the cottage appealinq and enjoyed walking amongst the picturesque homes.

The location was a couple of blocks back from the Esplanade and was ideal for enjoying walks along the beach front

There were a few squeeky floor boards in the hallway and going into the kitchen.

So much promise, let down by low quality facilities and lack of structural maintenance.

The location is good. Quiet street with easy On Street parking. Shops, cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. Shower was good, and the gardener was friendly and considerate when he came to mow the lawns.

Old mattresses with Springs protruding. Old tattered towels. Poor maintenance, I was genuinely worried that I might fall through the floor in a few places. Cobwebs abound. Dirty dishes in the cupboards. Crappy TV almost unwatchable due to the tinny speakers. Loud Fridge (I think it might be about to die cause it runs 80% of the time)

Easy parking, comfy beds, close to amenities.

Appliances are very old, bathroom is old and needs updating. Shower arm leaks, shower sliding door is rusted and off it's tracks. Loose floorboards.

All in all nothing that wasn’t easily sorted with a blanket would stay there again

Comfy beds, quiet location, excellent facilities located close by.

Could have done with more substantial heating in the lounge area. My sons bedroom area was lovely and warm but the lounge was cold
