Excellent choice

Scott is an excellent host. He even arranged for us to get tickets to a hurling game in Dublin. He was very accommodating with serving breakfast whenever we wanted it. Drive us into town for dinner. I cant say enough nice things about this gracious host

Quiet side of Portrush, elegant accommodations

Lovely house in a residential area of Portrush. we walked to a fun seaside restaurant for dinner. very welcoming host, beautiful room, great breakfast. Very professionally done, yet still the charm of a B and B.

Exceptional

Our whole experience was wonderful. Scott helped with our luggage and provided us with much appreciated beer after a long days drive. The location is great - near the train station and easy parking. Room was very spacious and well appointed - even waters next to the bed. It was quiet and we slept great. Scott cooked a great breakfast and was very helpful to talk to about sights in the area.

A beautifully furnished room with quality bed linen and toiletries. Always well stocked with coffee, tea etc and even a Tassimo coffee machine. Lots of choice for breakfast using locally sourced produce including smoked salmon .....delicious!! The dining room and lounge are both tastefully decorated with stunning pictures on the walls of the locality. Great for ideas of places to visit. Scott is an exceptional host who can't do enough for you to make your stay a very enjoyable experience.

Amazing! If you’re looking to visit Portrush then a stay at The Carrick is a must, you won’t be disappointed

Great location with a short walk to sea front and amenities. Our room was lovely, extremely clean,very spacious and comfortable with lovely sea views. The owner Scott was a great host, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely choices for breakfast served by the always smiling Amy. Hopefully we’ll revisit Portrush one day and will have the chance to stay at this fabulous place once again.

An enjoyable stay in Portrush!

Great location, far away enough to avoid crowd, but close enough to walk. Rooms were nice, Mark was great, and his breakfast’s were by far the best we had during our 12 day stay in Ireland. We will recommend!

Thanks for the fantastic memories.

Scott is a phenomenal host. Makes you feel very welcome! A consumate professional. Really enjoyed the breakfast. The BnB is a short walk to the town but not so close you hear the pubs. This really made what was a special weekend really shine!

We enjoyed staying at the Carrick especially because of the warmth we were greeted with there.

The breakfast was exceptional. The host was friendly and thoughtful. The room was very well equipped with anything you could ask for. There was a very nice atmosphere at the place.

There could have been some more hooks or surfaces to put things, especially in the bathroom. The bathroom got very hot due to the heated rail for the towels and we didn´t manage to turn the heat down. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

Probably the best B&B we’ve stayed in and that’s a long list!

Scott was the perfect host. Great looking building. loved the layout with the residents honesty bar. Room and bathroom/loo were brilliant and full of character. Comfy bed and quiet location. Breakfast was delicious and the young lady who served us was charming. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent host and beautiful property

We had such a great time in the Carrick. What a wonderful property. It's all about the little touches here, on arrival we were offered a drink. You can prebook your breakfast order which did not disappoint. It was to a very high standard, which can be quite hard to get.

Beyond expectations

Great place, the breakfast is huge and delicious and Scott was absolutely helpful and nice. Very well located and a room spotlessly clean with everything you need to make you feel comfy and to chill after a long day walking.

Little gem of a place

Great location and very peaceful. Our room was lovely and cool and had everything you could possibly need. Our host Scott was fantastic, he couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was first class.

Couldn't fault anything, it was just perfect.
