Room was comfortable, although a little tired and in need of a refurb.
Location is very good for the seafront and town centre.
Parking was not great, very tight access, lack of spaces, plus having to pay extra for on site parking is unreasonable. The staff we encountered were quite rude and need to be taught some etiquette.
When returning in the late evening another guest was having a suspected heart attack, there were no staff members on site with any basic first aid training and they had just left the man slumped on a sofa and appeared not to want to get involved! Their attitude was that they had called an ambulance and that’s all they could do! My wife and another guest had to take control of the situation and make the man more comfortable whilst waiting for an ambulance! Additionally staff members had no idea where the nearest defibrillator was located! Another guest had to take responsibility for contacting the mans wife by telephone! Another complication, was that the unwell man was travelling with his elderly wheelchair bound mother who had dementia, the staff member didn’t seem to have a clue what to do when we asked how they were going to check on her in the morning. Luckily the man was discharged from hospital in the morning and was able to return to his mother, but the situation could have been a lot worse if he had been kept in hospital.
It is essential that there should be at least one staff member on site with basic first aid training, really all staff members should go on a course. Please ensure that all staff know the location of the nearest defibrillator for emergency’s such as this.
It’s unlikely we’d stay at the hotel again.

Room. Staff
Breakfast was VERY poor not worth anywhere near the price. Poor choice of fruit and continental breakfast. English cooked breakfast, eggs hard as been left in warming pan, tinned mushrooms, disgusting, hash browns tasted like cooking oil. Awful.

Hi - shower cap would be nice. Body cream too. More bar staff would be good and rose’ wine one selection not great. However nothing stopped our enjoyment.
Rose’ wine no selection. Sweet & not nice.
Fish & chips awful
More bar staff would be good.
Some body cream would be good and a shower cap🤗

I liked that it was clean, near the seafront, had parking and just a few steps away from the bic.
It would be nice if there was a fridge in the room it's OK for 1 night but longer than that would be an advantage

Location
Bedroom was terrible, looking out onto a metal stairway from the kitchen, all we could hear was staff smoking under our window, booked a double but got 2 budget singles, one bed was literally on top of the bathroom and could not move

Loved the location, right across the street from the Bournemouth Pier and ferris wheel! Variety of restaurants close by as well as in hotel and parking out front.
Nothing.

Lovely friendly and very helpful staff.
Location was perfect.
Quaint hotel
TV too small for room and remote control so worn we were unable to understand the buttons.

The staff were extremely friendly and customer service oriented. The hotel is in a prime location.
Our room had a musty smell. The furnishings in the rooms and common areas were pretty basic.

Hotel was nicely located.
The room had loads of crisps under the beds when I moved them together. I told reception, who got it cleared up but not sorry about it

the location, i was attending a conference at the BIC
the bed was too small and too short, i am 5 10 , the cold tap in the bathroom was warm
i have a broken arm so the shower in the bath was not safe for me to use
the staff were largely dis interested in their guests , not rude but certainly not welcoming didn't do anything over and above the basic job, some couldn't manage a smile
i was charged for parking as i used booking .com, direct bookers got this free

There was a good choice at breakfast however, the cooked items would have been best served direct to the table
The interior was very nice and staff were very helpful especially Miguez Lemos
We were disappointed to find that we had an additional day charge for parking of £14 per day

lovely building with a nice lot of rooms facing the sea . good size breakfast room with dressed tables . lovely old entrance and reception area. nice table service from the bar area .
not too keen on the chairs in bar area . would have been nice to have staff topping up teas and coffee at breakfast.
would have liked full length mirror in room .. could have easily fitted one on the side of the wardrobe.

The location of this hotel was perfect for the BIC. Our room was dated but very spacious with several separate areas. The beds were comfortable and It was a nice to have two pillows without having to request extra. I liked that you could open the windows, and it was nice to have two chairs in the room, many hotels only ever have one! The hotel does have a bar and we were able to get a drink upon our return from our evening out. The breakfast was nicely laid out and staff helpful in fetching anything guests asked for such as decaf coffee etc.
The room, despite not appearing to have any radiators on was absolutely stifling, so much so that it was hard to sleep. Having said that when I mentioned it to Reception when I left the following day I was advised that had I complained about that they could possibly have moved me to a different room. Unfortunately we didn't realise how hot it was going to be until we were back later at night and undressed.
4.5
Nice room, comfy bed, easy to access
Lack of plug sockets next to bed
2.0
Size of the room, how close we were to BIC was good.
One bed seemed to be broken, mattress sank. The were a couple hairs in the beds, kettle wire sticking out of kettle lead. The additional charge for the car park was a shock and then the 1p charge for no apparent reason was confusing.

The location of hotel was brilliant really central. Staff very polite , friendly and helpful would recommend hotel
2.5
general staff were brilliant: breakfast was enjoyable: facilities were ok
when we complained about the boiler firing up on the hour every hour, management’s best offer was to relocate us to a smaller room 3rd floor from a 3 bed room ground floor. would nor compensate for disturbed night stating we should have complained when we were woken by noise, even st 3 in the morning, and they would have moved us: very very disappointed!

Great location, 5 min walk to town and across the road from the pier.
Showers could be better.

The rooms was big and clean. Nice view to the see. Can make a coffee/tea in the room and enjoy it with the view. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Recommend this hotel to everyone.
