The breakfast was amazing! Thank you Jennie for your great service. The view from the room window was great. Bed is so comfortable and we really enjoyed staying here!
Nothing ~ Everything was great

Immaculately presented with beautiful views of the grounds and surrounds. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Our first 2 nights on the South Island....will be very hard to beat!
Nothing could be faulted - at all!

So much care was put into the aesthetics inside and out. I was blown away by how beautiful the rooms and setting are. The house is on a hillside surrounded by mountains (and some sheep) that looks over the river gorge. Looking from your room across the gorgeous deck to the river and you feel you are in a 5-star hotel. That feeling continues with the luxurious bath and the sumptuous breakfast cart delivered to your room. The nice hot tub was another perk. (Also, I recommend Canyon Brewing nearby if you want to pop out for pizza and drinks.) This was the perfect place to end our honeymoon in New Zealand.
Not a huge drawback, but be aware that you will need a car. There isn't really anything walkable.

This property was perfect. It was quiet, perfectly prepared for our stay and we were so warmly welcome when we arrived. With a car hire it was perfect to get in and out of town, and we were given recommendations for places in Queenstown, a complimentary breakfast due to tree works (even just slightly) interrupting our view. Everything about our stay was just perfect. We’ll be back and recommending it to everyone.

One of the best accommodation we have in New Zealand so far. The great view, great host, great room and awesome breakfast provided. Everything just so good and we enjoy our one night stay so much. So glad we manage to have a chance visit The Canyons and we will definitely come back next time. We spent quite sometime at the cosy corner outside the room watching the great view with hot teas. So peaceful and comfortable experience.

The surroundings, the room and food were amazing. As there are hardly any lights, you could star gaze at night, right outside your porch!
None.

Jennie is a fantastic host. The Lodge is a lovely property, comfortable and tastefully decorated - with a stunning view over the valley. Its location - just outside a (relatively for NZ!) busy and trafficKy.
Queenstown - is perfect. The breakfast trolley was a wonderful way to start the day.

Breakfast was fabulous, the owner was very caring and nice. Gave my son toys to play with :-)
All was great! If you don't have a car, I imagine, it is hard to see the town.

Breakfast was spectacular and plentiful with fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli, choice of cereals, perfectly boiled eggs and toast delivered to the room on time with juice and plunger coffee. It was so good to get away from the craziness of Queenstown and I recommend this BnB. It really is only five minutes from town but you’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven.
Nothing! It exceeded all expectations.

Our host Jennie has been nothing short of wonderful. We were booked to stay 2 nights but encountered a series of issues with our flight being diverted so unfortunately ended up losing a night’s stay. Jennie was very understanding and her communication with us has been superb throughout.
The location of the bnb is close enough to Queenstown although a car is recommended to get around the area. The BnB itself offers absolutely spectacular views directly from your room! You will be in awe!! Jennie also takes pride in her garden and this is clearly reflected in the stunning grounds all around!
The room itself is beautifully laid out and very spacious. Lovely bath / shower facilities. Netflix available on TV. Our bed was sooo comfortable that we just slept like there was no tomorrow! And then there’s the breakfast… We couldn’t quite believe it (see photo). For a continental breakfast, Jennie’s offering is far superior than those in 5 star hotels! You will not be disappointed and certainly will not go hungry! Our biggest regret is not being able to stay longer.
NOTHING at all… You won’t be disappointed!

A did not see this incredible experience coming! The view is amazing, the ability to lay in the jacuzzi under the stars is amazing, and the breakfast is AMAZING. If you are staying anywhere in Queenstown, this is the place. It's out of town so away from all the tourist vibes and it's like an escape to a different time.

Such a beautiful place, getting to live in such luxury and comfort for a couple of days and escape the busyness of Queenstown for a private oasis in the mountains, oh my god what a pleasure. The owner is so kind, helpful, professional and provides exceptional service. You made our anniversary so special, thank you! The hot tub looking over the river is a magnificent way to relax, as is the lovely patio outside the room, and the clawfoot bathtub! Plus the facilities and the room are so well set up and very aesthetically pleasing. Cannot reccomend any place more highly!
