The location was very good. Had to park around the corner to the cottage but this did not trouble us. Very quiet
There was a problem with the Boiler. So there was no heating or hot water unless you continually re-pressured the system. There was no indication on what to do and when the caretaker was called I got no answer, so I was in my own. It is lucky that I half know heating systems, but it should not be hired out again without being fixed. Unless you want to be very cold that is.

The views from the property were lovely. It was very reasonably priced. The kitchen was nice and modern.
The boiler wasn't working properly, so in order to get hot water/heating we had to re-pressurise it, and it only last a few hours. This meant that the house was really cold in the mornings. We were told a plumber would come to sort it but noone came.
The TV only had a few very basic channels- obviously we didn't go there to watch TV, but in the the evening when we wanted to relax in front of the TV and just chill out there was such a limited selection. There is a sky box but none of the sky channels work.
There is no parking outside, so you need to stop outside to drop off all your bits and then go park elsewhere.
When we wanted to dispose of our rubbish at the end of the stay, the bins for recycling are tiny so we ended up putting all the recycling in the general waste bin.

Location was great and the house is completed to a good quality . Bottle of wine upon arrival was nice
Cleanliness was poor considering the current situation . Sitting on the settee opens up the gaps between cushions and down each ones were crumbs and hairs .
Floor wasn’t great upon arrival we felt the need to hoover and clean everything down.lots of rubbish left in garden
so overpriced obviously due to COVID situation and it being the ‘summer holiday ‘ could have an effect but we paid like 875 for 7 nights for a place with no airer for the washing machines provided , no guide or advice for local walks -restaurants or amenities , we had to buy dishwasher tablets toilet rolls . No cooking oil , no oven trays just one glass oven dish . There’s only 2 cloths provided .
The bathmat was disgusting
This isn’t the properties fault but just some guidance:
Gardens are tiny both side and the wall is so low that it’s not secure for dogs.(unless very small dogs as our border terrier can definitely get over 😅.
Waste collection changes from county to county so nobody should assume about what goes In what bin and when to put out etc luckily I noticed what neighbours were doing so just copied there’s as its very different to ours at home.
No contact at all during our whole stay to check on things or to welcome or anything .
If we was to book again it would need to be at LEAST 25% cheaper and thoroughly Cleaned .

Lovely and warm cosy cottage.
All facilities you could want, even a dishwasher and washing machine.
Welcome pack of wine, milk, water and biscuits. This was a lovely touch.
The bed wasn't very comfortable.
The bathroom looked a bit tired.

A fantastic find, good value, cosy and met all of our requirements. Very well designed and plenty of space, utensils, dishwasher, clean and homely.
We knew parking an issue, but wouldn't be for everyone ie elderly or people with young children or lots of luggage or shopping. Mainly as quite steep to walk up and down roads. But it is beautiful! We knew about steep stairs, fine for us not not good for those less mobile or if carrying young children! Extremely pickie but very small bath towels! But not a deal breaker!
