Small space room with a view that was comfortable.

Comfortable bed even though was slightly small for two average size person. View was wonderful. Location was great - easy accessible to touristy areas and train station.

Toilet space was small. Can’t move much in the toilet.

Enjoy the walk around.

The location is good, can see the togetsukyo bridge from the room window. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The stuffs are really polite and passionate to help you.

A great choice for creating beautiful memories, Hotel Arashiyama

The location and breakfast were beyond satisfying. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting Arashiyama, and the river view from the window is stunning, with pleasant sounds of the water. During my stay, it rained quite a bit in the early morning, but the soundproofing was so good that I didn't even notice until I opened the window. The sound of the rain and the flowing river was quite loud and surprising when I did. I highly recommend including breakfast; it's better than many high-end restaurants, beautifully presented, and delicious. However, the pickles might be too salty for some; if you prefer less salty food, I'd suggest informing the front desk in advance. The room might feel small, but considering the price and typical room sizes in Japan, it’s not a major issue. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to assist with any inquiries, not just about the stay but also regarding local facilities and transportation. I felt genuine kindness from all the staff members, making it a wonderful experience.

If I had to point out a slight drawback, the 10 AM checkout time felt a bit early. It would have been more convenient if it were around 11 AM, allowing for a more leisurely departure. However, after checking out, I was able to leave my luggage with the staff and continue sightseeing in the area, which was great. The staff were very accommodating and made the process of storing my luggage hassle-free.

全体的には泊まって良かった。

窓から川面が見えて雰囲気があった。朝食が時間指定で混まずに落ち着いて食べることができた。

部屋は広くて清潔感があったが、物を置くスペースが狭かった。またコンセントの位置が低い位置にあり使いにくかった。設備は全体的に古いです。

また嵐山に行く際は利用したいと思います。

事前に連絡をしたらチェックインよりも前に車を停めさせて貰えました。チェックイン時にルームキーと一緒に近くの温泉の割引券が貰えたのも良かったです。ロケーションも最高でした！

エレベーターが無かったこと。クチコミで荷物をスタッフの方が持ってくれたとあったのですが私たちは声掛けがなかったので少し残念です。

就在嵐山旁邊，安靜又優雅的環境，早上可以悠閒的吃完早餐後逛逛嵐山渡月橋景點，不會跟別人擁擠在一起，真的太棒了

Great stay

Good location close to station, monkey park and bamboo forest. Staff great, rooms clean and comfortable. Microwave available on every floor. Note it doesn't have a lift, but they are closing over Xmas 2023 to put one in so should have it by Feb 24. If staying before then, it has 4 floors but it does say the staff are happy to help carry luggage if it's an issue for you. Toiletries and phone chargers provided.in the room as well as a mini fridge. Would certainly stay again.

Good value of money. Great location and nice clean room. Staffs were nice. The hotel does not have elevator but staffs are carry all luggages for us. FREE PARKING.

Very small and private location. Lovely staff and a super cool traditional Japanese breakfast.

hotel was good but all restaurants in the area closed around 5/6pm so make sure you have dinner before that. Uber eats does work though.

Peaceful and healing environment

The staff are hard working and friendly. Helpful and very responsible. Nice view of the river. Walking distance to Arashiyama. Breakfast is awesome. Don't be late for BF because it's freshly cooked.

Lift is temporarily down for upgrading or something.

Wonderful hotel, view is beautiful

Great view from room, the balcony off the lobby opens up to a waterfall. The staff were very helpful. Helped us with bags and shipping luggage. Nice snacks and treats in our room. Very close to town and tourist attractions.

Great location,clean and very well laid out- they even had two luggage racks ! Not fancy but good beds, wonderful sheets and one of the best Japanese breakfasts we've had in Japan. Very helpful and nice staff

We made the right choice booking this hotel!

We really enjoyed our interactions with the staff, the location, the view, and the breakfast meals! We also liked that we could rent bicycles, which we will plan for next time. We plan on returning to Arashiyama and we will book this hotel again!

Nice rooms and lovely staff. Located close to the monkey park, Togetsu-kyo Bridge and Arashiyama Station. Our roomwas very quiet and had a nice view of the bridge.

A nice small hotel which I recommed.

Feels so good that I want to keep it to myself this gem. The room I had was so close to the river. Also like it simple elegant design, more spacious than i expected. Good value choice near the FuFuno yu day spa. Every hotel staff tried to communicate with English
