Location . You get what you pay for so this was fine for a short stay -
Helpful staff
Thin mattress and pillows , noisy rooms above

Good location. Good price.
Smells damp. Not a lot of space anywhere.

Great location.
No food availabil

Nothing don’t stay here guys honestly
Covered in bites staff are very rude

The location and helpful staff. Nice window. There is a lift, which was great. Good price.
The room was tiny. A bit like if Harry Potter's room at the Dursley's had an ensuite. When you are the size of Vernon Dursley, as I am, it can get a bit cramped. The shower head leaked, the cold tap didn't turn off completely and there was no breakfast option, which I would have paid extra for. The floor was also pretty grubby, needed a good hoovering or even a clean.
3.4
The beds were comfortable and clean.
There was a musty smell. The bin in the bathroom was full of rust. There was no hair dryer in the room. There was no one at reception at all.
3.4
The location was lovely. We didn't experience any noise issues at all, and we stayed on a Saturday night.
The room was small but manageable as we only stayed 1 night.
The lift was also quite interesting.
It didn't seem like the room was cleaned properly before we got our keys. There was rubbish under the beds as well as crumbs all over the floor. The bedsheets also didn't seem washed as there were hairs of all sizes and shapes everywhere.

Great hotel with all the necessities for an affordable price. Perfect location

Lovely staff , very accomodating , great price and location

Kraakproper! Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Enkel overnachting, dus op voorhand even bekijken wat de mogelijkheden zijn in de buurt.
3.4
The location.
Lack of safety & personal details put at risk with punter peering over shoulder, no staff on site & no contact details in room & no wifi to search out how to contact.
Lift which serves pub also goes onto hotel floors. No security. No camera in corridor. Felt very unsafe.
Feces on the towels provided and filthy bathroom bin / mould on bathroom ceiling.
Room freezing with no heater.
Hotel did not address issues with formal complaint and blamed me for not complaining on site although there were no contact details in room and no wifi! Not sure what I was supposed to do with two tired kids on the 3rd floor. Go searching high and low for someone / enter a pub??
Disgusting place, awful management, this place needs investigating.
AVOID!!!!

Very friendly staff and the breakfast was very nice.
Was not allowed to have early check in

Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The hotel is tired but they're making a concerted effort to improve from what was a hotel with quite a bad name. The room was fine. Not fantastic. But fine. Perfectly acceptable for my needs if a little small
The shower in my room was badly laid out and poor at best. But again the manager was happy to accept feedback and it didn't affect me too much.
Curtains need replaced in the room. Something that had a bit more blackout ability than the almost sheer ones I had which meant waking with the sun every morning.

Location, tv , parking facility
Definitely more sockets provide a socket near the bed
3.4
Superb location for Towner Gallery and Theatres. Parking is only £3 per day on the road outside- the hotel provides the scratch off card or the windscreen. No food at hotel but plenty of places nearby. I went to Downtown Deli on Carlisle Road for a great bagel. Small room but fine. Power sockets in sensible places, all lights work. Water very hot. Quiet over night.
In the evening I went to Stage Door pub- huge portions and delicious soup. Camilla's book shop is rather overwhelmingly stocked I spent most of the afternoon there.
I would prefer a shower with solid walls rather than a curtain
3.4
That I had roof over my head
The shower was not working properly the heating switches off the room gets cold
3.4
The shower takes forever to get hot
The showers take forever to warm up
3.4
it was £31
No one at reception and then it got cancelled by a phone call at the last minute. Never managed to stay at the place but from the outside it looked grim

I recently stayed at the OYO Carlton Court Hotel through Booking.com, and unfortunately, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. I feel compelled to share my feedback to help fellow travelers make informed decisions.
Unpleasant Odor: The room had a pervasive smell of dampness and mothballs, making my stay uncomfortable.
Hygiene Concerns: Thick dust and beer cans were found under the bed, triggering an adverse reaction due to my severe eczema.
Dilapidated Room: All the curtains in the room were hanging off the wall, and the curtain nettings were discolored at the bottom, giving the impression of neglect.
Inconvenient Amenities: Waiting for 5 minutes for hot water, a shower curtain held up by only 4 hooks, and a broken bathroom tap made basic amenities inconvenient.
Poor Bedding: Despite booking a double bed room, only two pillows were provided.
Lack of Essentials: The absence of tea and coffee in the room was unexpected and disappointing.
Subpar Entertainment: The TV in the room was remarkably undersized, comparable to a microwave.
I made a sincere effort to address these concerns during my stay by requesting a different room, but my request was declined, and the staff's response lacked any form of apology; it was notably rude.

Hotel was just perfect ... perfect stay great location!! Room spotlessly clean with everything you require for two night stay !! Will definitely book again .. Happy customers 😀
All was good there was nothing to complain about ...
3.4
The location is just at the seafront, however it's extremely difficult to get a parking space, and if you find one it's paid.
There is a pub straight underneath the hotel, very good beer and professional staff.
The room was small but had everything what is needed for the stay.
I liked it.
The bed was quite hard. Some people do like this but some not necessarily.
3.4
Good location in Eastbourne, 8-10 minutes from the town. Good facilities. Close to the beachfront, the theatre and cinema.
There could have been air freshener used in the bathroom.
3.4
Location near the beach and few minutes walk to city centre.
Bed not comfortable. You can hear everything even the snore of your next door neighbor.

Emplacement
La chambre sentait le tabac, j’ai été obligé de dormir la fenêtre ouverte toute la nuit.
3.4
Good get away, comfy and clean, bathroom good, nice location by seafront. Receptionist was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Good priced car parking via scratch cards.
Double room was much smaller that advertised, shower pressure very low, hotel decor and lift very outdated. V small tv didn't have all the channels. No free late checkout and no bar.
3.4
distance from the beach
closed restaurant with bar
3.4
Position to the Seafront and the town, both in walking distance.
Staff attitude, abrupt and unprofessional.
No headboard on bed,1 thin pillow each.
The shower screen was glued to the bath, making it awkward to reach the taps to run the bath.
No one in reception to greet us, only workmen. Told we had to give passport number, which we found very unusual in the UK, and said we didn't have it with us to be sharply told 'passport number, driver license number, anything, I don't care, you just must' then told 'you must strictly leave by 10am'
Customer service needs improving and quality of beds and facilities.
Kettles and cups in room, but no tea, coffee, milk, or sugar.

The location
The smell in the room really bad also the room is old and small room and the carpet not clean
3.4
Posizione centrale e gentilezza dello staff.

The room and the location of the hotel is dope... Excellent
Nothing

I thought for the price I might regret it. It was clean, better decorated than several more upmarket hotels I stayed in lately. Plenty of hot water, Big TV if I wanted it. Room sensibly decorated. Parking would be a problem if not staying after 6 and leaving before 8.am? I think there was a bar and or cafe but did not have time for this Fairly near other eating places and seafront a stones throw. My room was up lots of stairs but I discovered a lift as I left! The only thing missing was there was a kettle, cups and saucers etc but no tea, milk or coffee in the room. They were on a good working desk and there was a full length mirror. Shower in the bath. I assume an oversight bit when I book again will make sure I bring it. Bed was fine. Bed linen spotless and good size towels.
No tea, coffee or milk..but this was a very late booking so understandable and stairs talked about but not the lift. I needed the exercise! Also good to let people know re eating and drinking at the hotel. Parking free is good but to stay to 10.am check out you need to go and feed the machine. Really though it was a much appreciated find for overnight stays.
