Location was great for going on the Downs and the coast. It was a warm and cosy cottage. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wish cottage. It is a lovely cottage, all we needed was there. Kitchen was well equipped, living room, table with chairs in the kitchen. Very nice interior, lovely curtains :-) The area is beautiful, Pub The Red Lion next door which serves excellent food for a good price. Little post office close by for small things and a nice coffee bar just 5 min walk. To go to centre of Eastbourne we used the car, about 10min drive. The host was very helpful and left a floor mattress plus duvet/pillow plus camping bed since we were with 3 adults, friends, not couples, and preferred to sleep in different beds. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful little hide away from the hustle and bustle of London
I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like

It was an very nice cottage, everything what you could need was there. Good sanitary and beds.

Great location for access to the downs, seafront and town but in a quiet village. Good to have 2 pubs so close as well as post office and BP/M&S
The metal bed frame in the main bedroom, it creaked at the slightest movement which kept us awake!

Good location.Nice little cottage. Left treats for the dogs and some champagne wine and chocs, which were very nice. Enjoyed the stay.
Close to pub and Thai restaurant which was very easy close to South downs
Bit disappointed in the garden. Although enclosed and safe for the dogs. It was full of bindweed and dead shrubs. There was a weed with burrs that kept attaching to the dogs. The front was also weedy. It was more noticeable as the next doors garden was also rented out and nicely maintained.

It was perfect in every way with space to unwind and enjoy. Tastefully decorated throughout. Particularly like the little touch ...a bottle of wine and box of chocolates and very good quality hand soap and moisturizer . Beautiful location with choice of pubs an restaurants
Absolutely nothing

We were attending a tennis tournament in Easrbourne, and the cottage was only a 10 minute drive to the event.
The beds were not super comfy….maybe a modest topper and some natural fibres in duvet and pillows would have been a cool benefit….as it was very warm during our stay.

It was a very quaint and cosy cottage with everything we needed. it had a lovely little decking area to enjoy the sunshine too! it had 2 very nice pubs nearby and just a 15 min bus ride into Eastbourne and the downs literally in the doorstep.
Nothing, it was great!

Nice location

I had a lovely stay at the cottage, some houses just seem to exude a feeling of well being and this was one of them. Also, the neighbours I passed happy to say good morning or hello. There is a pub just down the road. Would happily stay there again.

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, you can feel the springs in the mattress.
The bathroom was full of moisture the next morning.
The kitchen tap was leaking very badly.
There was nothing provided like milk, butter ect
I tried to watch Netflix but it kept crashing from the wifi

Cottage is very quaint and has everything you could possibly need. I loved the garden which was ideal with a dog since it was enclosed. The garden also had a lovely decked area with outdoor seating and a table and there was some shade beside the trees which was invaluable during the heat wave. The location is good with 2 pubs very close and an M&S shop at garage just down the road, but a little bit far for us from the centre of Eastbourne.
The mattress on the bed in the main bedroom was a little uncomfortable and with teenagers we would have preferred twin beds in the second bedroom but knew this when we booked.

The location was great, village with 2 pubs and a Thai restaurant. The close proximity to the Downs and the comfortable beds.
Nothing to dislike

Location good close to pub and excellent Thai restaurant Easy drive into Town centre
Visited Congress theatre which was excellent
Property was an old cottage so you need to take that into account but it appeared tired and in need of some updating

lovely cottage well laid out perfect for us and the two dogs.

The cottage had everything that you would expect in a very old cottage and it had what you needed in a self catering property. The property was clean warm and dry which we needed due to the weather. The location is great for exploring the downs and the surrounding area. The 2 local pubs within walking distance had excellent food and were very friendly.
Masses of storage in the front room. Hairdryer provided. Didn't try the washing machine or tumble dryer that are provided.
A mirror in the back bedroom would have been handy. Hanging space was a little limited in the back bedroom. Due to the size of the back bedroom and the double bed, the storage is limited, but for a short stay it was not a big problem to us.
