Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit guter Lage zur Innenstadt und See.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer hat kein Fenster mit direktem Tageslicht, sondern nur ein Fenster in einen Gang im Innenhof. Das Bad war etwas dreckig.

Very comfortable and welcoming hotel. It has everything you need, including kitchen and a small garden. The owner Is inteligent and friendly guy, who speaks perfect English and takes great care of his visitors.

Comfortable, great location, small details can be improved

The owner of the hotel is super friendly and gave us many good tips and recommendations. There is parking with video surveillance right in front of the building. A nice public swimming area is just a 5min walk from the hotel. The center of Bacalar is an easy 10 min walk. The king bed we had was comfortable. There is a fridge in the room and we were even provided beach towels. Check-out is until 1pm, so plenty of time to do activities on the lake in the morning, have breakfast and then come back to the hotel to checkout. Toiletries were provided (incl. Conditioner and body lotion, which is nice!).

The rooms on the upper floor are quieter and nicer than ground floor and feel more private. There is some noise from the street (like everywhere in Mexico) and from the AC units, as well as from other guests walking past,, so light sleepers will benefit from earplugs. I'd also personally love more than one pillow but that's minor. Overall, the hotel is very decent but could benefit from a bit more maintenance, especially the bathrooms - the tiles should be scrubbed more thoroughly, as there was a bit of mold between them in some places, and some towels had holes in them. Overall we were comfortable and liked our stay, but attention to these small details would further improve the hotel.

Good budget option. Recommend.

Easy walk to town. Easy to park. AC and fan worked well. Comfortable bed. Staff friendly. Great value. Would stay again.

The kitchen was dark and a bit grim. Could definitely do with some work as it would be a lovely thing to offer guests. Not a deal breaker but I wouldn't make plans to cook here.

Perfect stay!

A very nice room and a very nice common room with sofa's, table and chairs (in the open air) to sit or lunch. The host and the lady at the reception are very friendly and helpful to inform you about everything. They even booked a boot trip for us. Walking distance from the center.

A nice hotel with lovely decor,but needs to be cleaner,which lets it down.

Nice decor,big beds,quiet location,cooking facilities.

Bathroom wasn’t clean when we arrived,no toilet paper on arrival,room smelt of paint,communal area floor and table not at all clean. A shame about the cleaning issue as this is a lovely hotel overwise.

Really lovely and helpful staff and quiet location. Hot water and powerful shower. Good size room and very good WiFi

Was a little bit far from the main centre, about a 15 minute walk which would normally be fine, but the main road was very poorly lit to get back.The room was a little rough around the edges - the shower could do with an upgrade and the drains unblocked. Overall a decent place to stay!

A Place that Remains a Highlight of our Worldwide Travels...

This place is AMAZING. Deon/Dion(?), the owner, made my partner and I feel overwhelmingly comfortable. The place was clean, conveniently located (just outside the busiest area), and within walking distance to the center. My partner and I also enjoyed learning about the owner and his journey to living in Bacalar. The place is just as magnificent as the owner!

Superb

The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. We had to take a night bus and the staff let us leave our luggage at the hotel and we were also allowed stay in the common areas after check-out. There was even the possibility to take a shower after we checked out. The room was nice with AC and a mini fridge. Wifi was working fine as well.

We asked to have our bed sheets changed again when we arrived but that wasn’t a problem either.

Such pleasant hosts!

Nice hotel. The room was spacious and clean, complete with all the comforts. The position could maybe be better but it makes up for it. The best note about our stay is actually the staff. Difficult to find more helpful and pleasant hosts. Full of good advices, they would go the extra mile to make sure you are safe and make your stay comfortable. Highly recommended!!!
