We loved staying at the Agam, will recommend and definitely would stay again.

The Agam boutique hotel, is really nice, the room is spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff is very polite and outgoing. Their breakfast had options, it was really good. It is close to "centro" and there a some great restaurants close by "La Cabañita" is a must. There are bikes you can borrow from them.

Good option to stay for a visit to Bacalar

Great recommendation from the reception for places to eat and drink. The massage that we had at the hotel was also good. The pool area is quite nice, well maintained, it’s a very good option for when you don’t want to go out

Beautiful hotel, great location and helpful staff

Beautiful hotel, nice room and lovely, helpful staff. The breakfast was good and great location.

La estancia en el hotel fue buena y es recomendable si se valora un muy buen desayuno

La localización era central con acceso caminable a restaurant y playa. El desayuno era muy bueno y lo mismo las instalaciones de piscina para descansar. La atmósfera de los espacios compartidos era excelente.

El tamaño de las piezas es pequeño, la internet y la televisión no funcionaron del todo bien y el baño no tenía ventilación y se sentía húmedo.

Great Location & Good Breakfast

Great Location and it was perfect for our stay! The Staff were usually all quite helpful and the breakfast was included and it was really good, you have a choice from a menu of a few dishes which was great as some of the buffets in other hotels were not great! You can also use their bikes for free, while they were quite rusty bikes, this was great for getting around at no additional cost!

The pool area was really nice but was not a great spot for the sun! As the sun didnt really come around to the loungers at all, but otherwise it was a great stay!

Super hotel in het (zeer rustige) Bacalar. Tip voor de reizigers; 3 nachten Bacalar is meer dan voldoende om alles daar te zien

Ontspannen op een mooie locatie met ruimte voor verbetering

- Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel wat goed Engels sprak - Het ontbijt was heel lekker! - Fijn zwembad - Rustige en ontspannen sfeer - Gratis fietsen - Bijna alles was op loopafstand

- De hygiëne. Bij binnenkomst was het toilet niet goed schoon en zat er een grote vlek op het beddengoed. Dit viel wel mee, het grootste probleem was de vochtige kamer met schimmel in de kussens (wat aan de buitenkant te ruiken was) en op het hoofdbord. Het beddengoed werd niet dagelijks gewassen waardoor aan het einde van ons verblijf de vlek er ook nog steeds in zat. Het personeel heeft ons wel heel goed geholpen, wat veel goed maakte. - De TV werkte niet

Une oasis se dégradant peu à peu

L’emplacement, l’espace massage, l’accueil de certains membres du personnel.

L’humidité de la chambre, l’aspect sale un peu partout. Le tour de piscine aurait bien besoin d’un coup de Karcher, et l’hôtel en général ne semble pas suffisamment entretenu. J’ai également trouvé que le personnel semblait un peu jeune et à cause de leur manque d’expérience, n’avait que peu de réactivité ou une attitude un peu lente.

Hospedaje cercano al centro

La ubicación es buena por estar a pocas cuadras del centro. La alberca es linda El desayuno es rico lo sirven de 8:00 a 9:30 AM

El ruido que se escuchaba por la música del restaurante-bar justo en frente de mi habitación (Hab 2), la música la ponen fuerte e incluso después de la hora que te dicen (10 pm), si quieres descansar Hab 2 y 3 NO son buena opción pues se escucha el ruido todo el tiempo. Y la iluminación de las habitaciones no hace un ambiente cálido.

Todo de 10 menos el desayuno

Lo primero de todo, el personal. Muy eficiente y súper amable. La habitación decorada con muy buen gusto y con elementos de bastante calidad. El ambiente en general es muy agradable. La encuesta inicial para adaptar la habitación al gusto también me pareció novedoso y un buen detalle. El área es muy tranquila.

No dispone de Parking si bien se puede estacionar en la calle en la puerta del mismo hotel el cual dispone de cámara y personal 24h. Pero lo que menos me gustó, paradójicamente considerando lo bien que aparenta, fue el desayuno. Soy alguien que necesita desayunar bien y de seguido. No me gusta depender del servicio para todo. No es práctico o no está bien pensado: La miel hay que cogerla directamente de un bote para ponerla dónde? En un plato? O en las tostadas que llegan cuando el café ya está frío? Lo mismo con la mermelada. Hay que levantarse demasiadas veces para algo tan básico. La leche, el zumo, etc.. es de autoservicio con botellitas muy bonitas pero poco intuitivas de abrir. Además hay que agarrarlas en su cuello central... Covid? Pedir tostadas implica esperar sentado un buen rato. Eso significa que el sistema no es práctico. Para cuando llegan, ya me he tomado el café o se me ha quedado frío. Si me tengo que esperar a tomar un café para cuando llegan éstas, vamos mal. La fruta, para las 9am ya se había acabado además de tener muy poca variedad. Un punto positivo es que ofrecen tipo sándwiches con huevos y demás. Muy bien. Pero no todas las culturas tomamos eso para desayunar. Algunos preferimos algo tan básico como un croissant o unas tostadas con su mermelada o miel junto con un café. Simple, efectivo y rápido. Por lo demás, muy bien.

Accueil. Hôtesse à l’écoute.

Musique continuellement et beaucoup tris forte. Lumière sur le parvis devant la chambre allumée toute la nuit et qui est perturbante pour le sommeil.

Aanrader!

Het hotel is centraal gelegen in centrum Bacalar. Alles is te voet bereikbaar. Super lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt! Het personeel is enorm behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

De housekeeping kon beter.

Veel geluid en matig onderhouden

De ligging is centraal in Bacalar. De bar is gezellig en er is altijd een receptie.

Accommodatie is mooi opgezet maar slecht onderhouden. Schimmelplekken in handdoeken, en de jacuzzi is totaal niet onderhouden. Jammer van zo mooie accommodatie. We hadden bovenste appartement en door het rieten dak hoor je alles van de straat. Er zaten veel vogels in. Alles houd je wakker de hele nacht.

Increible pero con regalo

El hotel tenia buena ubicación. El desayuno era de carta pero es excepcional, el personal amable. Y la verdad que el hotel es bastante acogedor.

Cogimos 2 habitaciones, en una no se podía dormir de la humedad que había era inhumano, al comentarlo al día siguiente porsupuesto que lo sabían porque nos cambiaron de habitación enseguida. Y en la otra solo tenia la cortinas con manchas de humedad

Fijn hotel met uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

Leuk hotel met erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Locatie is fijn wat buiten het centrum maar met alles op loopafstand. Kamer was netjes, koelkastje en AC aanwezig, elke dag vers water, openbare parkeerplaatsen voor de deur, gratis badhanddoeken te leen, fijne en gezellige tuin met zwembad, ontbijt was erg goed met voldoende keuze. Hotel is ook aesthetically pleasing. Ze hebben de lekkerste koffie die ik in Mexico gehad heb!

De kamer en het bed waren erg klein. Het toilet was volledig nat na het douchen, ventilatie in de badkamer kan beter. Onze vloer was bij aankomst erg vettig.

Een enorme aanrader!

Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zwembad met tuin was heerlijk en de kamers waren fijn. Alles was erg schoon en hygiënisch. Een hotel dat wij enorm zouden aanraden!

Als ik verbeterpunten moet verzinnen dan zou het de variatie van het ontbijt zijn, onze voorkeur gaat uit naar wat meer beleg in de vorm van vleeswaren en kaas. Daarnaast zou het lekker zijn als er wat te snacken en lunchen aanwezig is, zodat je daarvoor niet op pad hoeft.

Séjour incroyable à Bacalar ! Merci

Tout était parfait durant notre séjour, l’emplacement, le bar, la piscine. Nous avons vraiment été surpris par la qualité de la prestation. Que ce soit le petit déjeuner, le personnel, le jardin etc.

C’est vraiment histoire de trouver un petit quelque chose à dire mais ce n’est pas grand chose… des petits détails pour être encore meilleur. La wifi dans les chambres est pas top, une légère odeur d’humidité, et la musique a la piscine un peu forte.

Perfecto, volvería!

Las instalaciones, la habitación amplia, la zona de la piscina y el desayuno espectacular! La ubicación está muy bien, está a 7-8 minutos caminando, te das un paseo y se agradece no estar en todo el centro con el ruido. Muy cerca de accesos a la laguna gratuitos y de pago.

La cama un poco dura, pero descansamos muy bien y se está muy tranquilo.

Beautiful hotel with helpful staff

Fery helpful staff, perfect breakfast and a perfect distance to the city centre and lake. Would recommend it!

Keep your hopes high

The staff, always looking out for you. And the place is just lovely and it's really been taken care of.

The cleanness, it could be better, I mean, it wasn't dirty but you could find the hair of previous people all around the shower, not really nice. The misdirections about the activities they offer, we booked a tour and what we got wasn't what they told us.

Exceptional

Everything, The architecture of the place, the incredible service, there is always someone to attend to any need, we had an inconvenience because we had a flat tire of one the bikes we rented and they were very kind not to charge us that day of rent. We appreciated it a lot. Breakfast delicious, chill environment. Perfect location because is close to the Lagoon Pier but also close to downtown and the ADO terminal, in a secure and quiet zone. We definitely recommend it and would come back 😊❤️

Quality over quantity!

What wasn't there to like?! From start to end, my stay here was amazing! The staff was friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing. I even enjoyed waking up to the exotic bird chirping and falling asleep to the storms rolling in (that was just pure luck!). The property has less than 20 rooms and felt very home-y. Everything I wanted was within walking distance too!

Having to leave. I did not want to leave.

Incredible vibes

The hotel is amazing, the pool and the garden is stunning! Breakfast is very tasty and all the stuff is super friendly and kind! Location is great as well. Loved as well the vibes and the playlist they play during the afternoon.

Almost everything was perfect but, during the stay me and my boyfriend couldn’t sleep well. I don’t know why tho

Superb

+ excellent service. The staff is great + tasty breakfast + clean + thoughtthrough room, most hotels hardly have places to hang towels, clothes etc.but here it was perfect + free towels also to the lagune We can highly recommend and would definitely stay here if we come back to Bacalar. Best place during our whole Quintana Roo trip.

- pillows were too big and hard - shower water hardly cold water 😅 normally it's the other way around
