Très bien situé

La sympathie du gérant et ses conseils. Le rooftop offre une belle vue sur la lagune. L'hôtel est également bien placé proche d'un rare accès gratuit à la lagune.

Les équipements et la piscine sur le rooftop mériteraient rénovation. Un étendoir manque un peu dans la chambre, qui est un peu sombre.

Alles gut, würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war schön, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten, ein plus Punkt ist auf jeden Fall der eigene Kühlschrank. Zur Lagune sind es circa 5 Minuten zu Fuß, Restaurants und Bars sind auch schnell zu Fuß erreichbar.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. Francisco est un hôte très accueillant et à l'écoute. Il vous propose également un tour en bateau sur la lagune que je vous conseille fortement de faire! Hôtel très bien placé, bon petit déjeuner, calme. Eau potable à disposition.

Tolles Hotel in Bacalar!

Das Personal war äusserst freundlich! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Sie waren sehr bemüht, alles ordentlich zu halten und unsere Anliegen zu erfüllen. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und war bemüht uns bei allem zu helfen. Von Tourbuchungen bis hin zu Taxifahrten. Das Frühstück war klein, aber perfekt und auf Wunsch haben die Damen auch etwas Besonderes gekocht.

Francisco helped us with all our needs. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfast is delicious.

Holiday round trip - overnight stay Bacalar

Small beautiful and clean hotel complex with courtyard, located a bit away from the big hustle and bustle. But restaurants and also the center (castle) is within 5-15min walking distance. Very helpful staff. Only stairs, no elevator. Refrigerator in the room. Bathroom with shower. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, there is also a small pool. View from the roof terrace reaches to the lagoon.

Parking is available only publicly on the street and often occupied, then it can be difficult to find a free parking space nearby.

Great stay

Very clean, good location near the water, but far enough that the moquisitoes were not a problem. The staff were great, we stayed a week the staff tryed to change the breakfast a little every day. the breakfast was simple but very tasty. Not far from the main town square, walking distance, with lots of cute restaurants nearby. Very quiet area, even with Mexican Holy week. Highly recommend this place. We come back.

There is no elevator, so if you have problems with stairs the pool and lounge area are on the top floor. The only other thing was that the pool didn't appear to be cleaned often. It wasn't dirty, just the filter never ran. No coffee maker in room.

Very nice hotel style, friendly staff, great location, close to the public lagoon access, easy parking on the street in front of the hotel, breakfast with hot and cold dishes

Breakfast starts at 8 am but the staff was not ready, it took some time to complete the buffet (this happens every morning).

Wonderful hotel with rooftop pool and lounge area, great location, and amazing breakfast

The location was great only a block walk down to the boardwalk and a couple more block to the ecological entrance to the lagoon. The included breakfast was great! Hotel has a nice rooftop pool as well as sun loungers and tables

We showed staff lightbulbs in our rooms that were burnt out and needed to change- as the rooms were in the courtyard so quite dark, but they never did. courtyard rooms are quite noisy as it’s a meeting place for groups before they left the hotel- not a bad idea to bring earplugs

Great property with a pool, awesome included breakfast, very close to the lagoon

Location is great, only a block and so away from the lagoon and a couple blocks away from the ecological public entrance. There is a nice rooftop area with sun loungers, tables, rooftop pool, and it is where they serve a great breakfast! Common courtyard on the ground level with a water cooler for guest use was great. Each level of the hotel has an inside common area to hang out in. The staff were great

The mini fridge in our room is super old felt like it was overheating and had to wear earplugs at night it was so loud

The location was good. the room was clean. breakfast was very good. lovely views from the breakfast.

I felt the reviews didn’t represent the hotel. the hotel was more like hostel vibe than a hotel. it was basic and expensive for what you got. the receptionist didn’t speak much English so it made checking in difficult. I think there is more options around that you would get better value. Every morning we woke early due due to rooster next door.

We loved Bacalar and will certainly go back. The hotel was comfortable and a perfect budget choice.

The rooms were clean with plenty of towels and comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing! We also enjoyed the rooftop view for relaxing and watching the sunrise. The public access point to the lagoon is very close or you can use the boardwalk for about a peso. This is definitely worth doing - watch for the alligator in the reserve area!

It's no fault of the hotel but there is a lot of outside noise - both from construction next door and a happy rooster! I typically wear earplugs anyway for sleeping so this didn't bother me at all but it's something to be aware of.

Simple family hotel with very helpful owners and keen to give information about places. Free drinking water and quite yet good location with parking.

Quite small bedroom and a bit dated. Water pressure for showet was a bit of an issue.

Clean, spacious room and excellent breakfast

The hotel seems to be brand new. The room was spacious and very clean, so was the bathroom. The hotel has a terrace with beautiful views from the lake. The breakfast, which is served in this terrace, is very good. The hotel crew is very polite and they can arrange boat tours.

Great hotel in Bacalar

Great hotel with comfortable and clean rooms, WiFi, air conditioning and friendly staff who were very helpful when booking a boat tour and a taxi to the bus station. We were happy to find you can arrange boat tours, sailing tours, bikes, scooters and taxis all from the front desk. Breakfast was served on the roof top terrace next to the pool and was a great start to the day. Drinking water was available in the lobby. Location is a short walk from the centre. Highly recommended.

We liked everything. The only slight disturbance came from other guests who had young children playing in the area just outside our room and on the swing chairs on the roof terrace which was directly above our room. At night, I slept soundly but my girlfriend was kept awake until 2am by people on the rooftop terrace so if you’re a light sleeper you may need earplugs if people are enjoying the rooftop until late. Or just go and join the party..!
