Just a lovely place to stay, it’s really quiet as well as peaceful and the staff team are so helpful too.

Unique building in a good location. Interesting history.
Not enough rooms!!

Comfortable bed, friendly staff
No other facilities other than room! No lounge or bar to use, no option of breakfast. Room very depressing decor, nothing like the promotion photos . Could have stayed in premier inn for same facilities and cheaper!

Well located in Liverpool. Close to key sights.
It is a venue for weddings and hen parties. The music is not conducive for hotel residents. Music only ends at 11:30. My room was also not serviced until requested to do so. Hotel personnel friendly but clearly are under-staffed. Also keen on spending time at the restaurant that is featured on the site. Sadly it is not available anymore except for the functions. This should be updated on the advert for this hotel.

Well preserved historic building with period furnishings and classic halls and bar area. Very friendly and helpful staff, just a short walk to the waterfront or the Town Hall.
No breakfast offered and towels were too small

Really good location not far from dockside
The windows of the room didn't open. I couldn't get the lid off the kettle which appeared to have lime scaled up.

Beautiful old-style property with loads of character. Comfortable and clean with very friendly staff.
Would have been good to have been able to order breakfast (even just a light breakfast) or maybe even just recommendations for local cafes for breakfasts.

This was our second visit to the Racquet Hotel. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and made our dog very welcome. We stayed in room 1 both times. It is a large room with a double bed, two comfortable chairs, tv, bureau with small drawers, very large table and inbuilt wardrobe with ample hanging space.
The room is a bit dark so it might be an idea to have an uplighter with a dimmer switch perhaps.

The room is large with high ceilings, it looked amazing with the large bed in the centre. The staff was super friendly and the location pretty good as well - very close to the harbour and still close enough to the city to go out in the evening. We also loved the bathroom.
We could not lock our room, restaurants for lunch are not that close to the hotel.

Location , quirkyness , beautiful roll top bath

This was a last minute booking for two rooms on New Year’s Eve. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the hotel is beautiful. Major bonus of a roll top bath in the room. The hotel is so quiet but still easy walking distance to all the night life. Would definitely stay here again.
Only negative is the church bells on a Sunday morning.

Iconic building great location
Room was a bit dated and the property is more of an events space with rooms than a hotel.
