Very helpful staff. Nothing was a problem. Great location. Lovely breakfasts & outdoor areas.

This hotel position is a littel out from the historical center but it can be reached by foot, while it is almost an hour trip, else there is Uber that works perfectyl. The staff was really helpful on everything we asked.
The room was a little colder than expected

A very private, cozy courtyard surrounded by clean, comfortable rooms with a great hot shower and excellent staff. Absolutely fantastic location within walking distance to great little cafes and shops, easy Uber rides to major Mexico City attractions. Restaurant was delicious!

Amazing, older, gem in the city. From the photos the place seems small just a few rooms. It is massive and tons of different areas of rooms and courtyards with tables and umbrellas to sit and read a book or have breakfast. Alot of the rooms have small patios as well as balconies and terraces. Super friendly staff too.
No iron in room for guests. 30 pesos an item to hand in a piece of clothing. I was on the courtyard level and the first night had the lights streaming into my room. I asked if they could please turn them off at a certain hour, instead they very kindly changed my curtains. Problem solved.

Perfect location in a very walkable area of Mexico City, with easy access to sights, restaurants, bars and transit
Good breakfast (albeit at an extra charge)
Rooms are quite old and worn, and cleanliness could be better

The place, which feels more like a B&B has beautiful grounds, you can tell they do a great job with the upkeep. I also liked that it’s walking distance from the US Embassy, which is where my business was. The breakfast was also nice and the WiFi was really reliable my week there.
While the grounds are really nice, the rooms are a bit outdated, literally the bare minimum is what you find in the room. It smelled really musty the first two days and I had to keep the windows open, which are tiny. While the room itself was clean, the bathroom had hairs all over the shower floors, both the sink and the shower were clogged. In fact, my second day, I dared to take a shower lasting more than 5 mins and there was water overflowing all over the bathroom floor. After my shower the first day I informed the front desk of the clogging but nothing was done. It also smelled like sewer in there.
I had dinner my first night and it was really nothing to write home about; then the rest of the week the kitchen closed at 3pm so my experience with food other than the breakfast is limited. My biggest issue however was the placement of my room: the windows faced the grounds where there was outdoor seating and it was the worst. The walls are paper thin and the windows didn’t buffer any of the noise coming from other guests chatting till past midnight, plus the noise from outside the gate. Considering I had to start my day at 4-5am, I was really not happy.

Very friendly staff, homey feeling, great inside courtyards where we had breakfast every morning and exchanged with other guests. Safe area with good restaurants close by. 40 minute walk to the historical center o Mexico City, which we practiced almost daily.

Location was great and all the staff were very friendly.
The door in the bathroom didnt give enough room to access the toilet.

All the food was excellent. Service was great. We had breakfast every day but one.
One of our rooms had no screens and the heat was difficult with no air conditioner. Fan was very loud. Additionally, the glass recycling plant was very noise with glass crashing and trucks delivering.
4.5
The location was great and staff were very accommodating. The grounds are beautiful.
We didn't realize there was no ac in the rooms, no fridge and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Our room was noisy bc it was facing the street even though I requested an inward facing room. There was no window to open when the room got warm, just a double door and there were mosquitos outside.

beautiful gardens with outdoor sitting areas, close to all city attractions, great staff

nothing.

location was good for walking to Chapultepec park. Restaurants in area. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds and very lovely grounds
Difficult to communicate with some staff due to no English. Mostly with restaurant staff. Noise travels between rooms.

The place is spacious, simple , basic bathroom and well located
The place is quite noisy.. you can hear every guest. The walls are thin and there are wide spaces below the doors.

Huge room, very nice patio, vintage look
Booking late I got one of the rooms facing the main road, so it was a bit noisy, but I was reassuredil be given a garden-facing room next time 😉

The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Great little restaurant too. Will definitely be back!

Location within the bigger picture of the city was practical . We walked many places, but also close to metro. Nice atmosphere, authentic decor. Good breakfast. Spacious room. Staff were pleasant. Helpful to be able to communicate in English.
Our room was a little too close to the street action, plus it was a bit cold. There was a faint odor from bathroom drain that was not so pleasant.

Near by Reforma and other important places in Mexico. Cosy place to stay, comfortable and very helpful employees.

Kind staff, central location, taxi from airport to hotel included in the price, bigger room than expected, water bottles and filtered water provided for free, OK breakfast
there was noise in the early morning because of some vendor in the street, but hey, that's mexico city!

Location is unbeatable. Love the cozy feel of the courtyard and gardens.
