Check in was self serve and really easy. The property had plenty of supplies at hand when we needed them. The beds were comfortable and spacious for our needs.
The property did not have parking on site but there was paid parking in close proximity to the apartment. There is a night club in close proximity to the apartment and we could hear music playing throughout the night. We were able to sleep despite this and didn’t bother the kids. There is also a cigarette disposal near the front door steps that these club members seemed to use, so people were in close proximity to the front door and windows all night. Regardless we would still stay here again.

Excellent location!! Clean, well situated and comfortable for our group of 7.

Great location in Reykjavik, good instructions on getting in, beds as promised. Fairly good communication. Windows for ventilation key, lovely accommodations for sleeping, living room, fine kitchen with fridge, kettle, coffeemaker, stove, pots, plates, mugs, cutlery. Great launching point, very central, grocery store less than a block away, bus stops for tours close by.
Lack of basics...salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea, wine opener, paper towels. Stove is slow to warm. Dishwashing set up challenging due to small sink and highly pressured scalding waterr.Area outside building very smelly, trash all over. Communication once we arrived not swift. Third bedroom is through the second one. Steep stairs!

Very central location. Bedding very clean.
Apartment in general needed to be bit cleaner especially the shower head! Only one cereal bowl available and it was cracked and there were 5 of us. Only 5 small cups would have preferred bigger mugs.
4.0
The location is amazingly central; the apartment was roomy and clean; beds were comfortable; good kitchen facilities.
Side gate was broken; no lock on bathroom door; had to walk through one bedroom to get to another; quite noisy at night (outside).
2.5
Perfect location in the city center.
Cozy apartment despite an original floor plan.
Friendly and helpful hosts.
Loads of information and good tips about Reykjavik and Iceland.
Could be more clean, especially the bathroom!
Central is very good - on the other side - central means a lot of people passing by during the night - and you hear the traffic good. Air plugs will help, because the location was perfect!

Everything was excellent. It is a very compact apartment, snug for 5 adults but well equipped, clean and comfortable. Its in a fabulous location and we had a wonderful time. The host was very helpful.
A very minor point but getting the key out of the lockbox was a challenge. Maybe it’s a bit weathered. We have exactly the same one at home and it has happened ours. It opened eventually so all good.

the location could not have been better
I didn’t get an email or message with the address or entry instructions. I had to call them to get it when we were in our way to the property , also the address shown online is not the address , very close but confusing

When we stepped out of the apartment, the northern light was just right above our head. What a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I will remember this apartment forever.
3.0
Good location for walking to town, Harpa, and pretty easy parking in pubic lot nearby. Hosts provided good recommendations for restaurants and places to go.
GPS code would have been helpful for finding unit with all of the one way streets. Hosts must own multiple units that were in photographs. Our unit did not match the photos and we were disappointed. I would not have stayed in the unit if the photos had been accurate for our unit. Bath was in poor condition, living room furniture like a college apartment, worn and not comfortable. Kitchen okay, but no first day coffee or any other nice to have things. Layout is not great with the one bathroom located between living room and kitchen. That said, two bedroom units are not plentiful in downtown Reykjavik.

There aren't many good things to say about this property. The best thing about it is the location - right around the corner from all the shops & restaurants, Rainbow Road, etc. The apartment was also big enough for my family of 6.
The shower is tiny. You cannot bathe without touching the shower doors, which were filthy. There was mold on the ceiling, mold on the shower head and the shower water smelled like rotten eggs. The smell was so bad it permeated through the entire apartment. The plug socket in the bedroom was hanging out of the wall. There were stains all over the couch. The microwave was disgusting inside. There was a bowl under the sink to catch water from a leak. The kitchen sink water also smelled like rotten eggs. Nothing like trying to wash your water bottles with water that stinks. The apartment listing indicated there was private parking - which is one of the specific reasons I booked this property. But that is only for some of their locations, and you don't get to pick which apartment you get. The apartment we booked did NOT include private parking, which we didn't know until the day before we arrived. We had to find street parking and deal with paying the meter. The listing also did not indicate that there are steep steps to get to the apartment - it was not fun to lug 50-lb suitcases up those steps. The photos in the listing show a quaint apartment with charming wallpaper, etc. Well, I don't know what happened between the time those photos were taken and the time we got there, but now it's just falling apart, dated and DIRTY.

excellent location
nice house
Beds aren’t prepared like descripted (double and not singles)
The flat was quite dirty, the coffee maker was full of mold, opened food remained in the fridge, bathtub was enamelled, the wc door doesn’t close, the apartment is in poor condition and poorly maintained

We chose the apartment based on its location, it was very central, and had a spacious common area.
Very noisy at night. Several light fittings and plugs had exposed wires. Stains on sofa. There is street parking but you have to pay, which isn’t clear on the details. And you have to access the second bedroom by walking through the first, which is not ideal.

the space and comfort. Very comfortable beds. we’ll stocked kitchen
had to do a little cleaning in fridge, bin area and kitchen sink. All lovely in the end!

Nice, clean, cosy. Easy way to collect the keys (a key box). Next to Krónan supermarket, just in the city center, near the most important places of Reykjavík. Sockets next to the bed. Apple TV in the living room (but no local TV channels).
Very noisy neighbours upstairs - they were just stomping (like running around the apartment), you could not only hear their every single step but also someone playing Duolingo. Not enough glasses in the kitchen. Parking is not for free (just at night and Sundays). If someone was locked in the bathroom, you had to enter the kitchen from the living room via 2 bedrooms.

It's a fantastic apartment, very central and a great base for exploring Iceland. Great facilities and good blackout blinds too!
I cannot think of anything!

very old apartment, not super clean, strange layout.
windows from a second bedroom look at a small yard with garbage cans.
Beds very comfortable and good bedding. Location is excellent! overall was fine.
needs some update- paint, floors, cleaners didn’t do a great job

Great location. Charming building. Nice rooms.
Requirement to keep several windows open (ajar). Water leak in kitchen (minor inconvenience only)

strange layout, but no problem for family to stay.

kitchen needs cleaning up
2.5
location, people very nice and helpful.
it was dirty particularly the shower unit, windows didn’t close properly as fittings broken and windows tied with string. considering convic the cleanliness of the bathroom left a lot to be desired. we payed to use the showers in the hotel next door.
3.5
great location for walking around, allowed us to sleep 3 groups comfortably
the second double bedroom is through the twin bedroom so we disturbed our guests every time we went to the bathroom on the other side of the apartment. the single room was small and near the street my friend struggled to sleep due to the noise and the neighbours arguing through the night. the permanent tenant above came home every night after 11pm and stomped around 😳
5.0
Fantastic location and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay - couldn’t have asked for anything more.
4.5
Location!! :) 😀
4.0
Great location, but a bit weird apartment with rooms that are not very practical
4.0
Clear instructions
It would be good to make in clear that to use the third bedroom you actually have to go through another bedroom (ie no private door)
3.5
Perfect for exploring Reykjavik on foot, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to museum and cathedral.
Apartment is up one floor via a spiral staircase which is steep. Windows need to be opened due to condensation which means you hear a lot of noise from nearby during evening.
Comfortable with three bedrooms, small kitchen, nice shower and lounge seating and dining seating easily for 5-6 people.
Very close to supermarket.
Seemed like a bit of a noisy neighborhood, graffiti and small area nearby where people congregated in the evenings, noisy at night.
TV did not work.
Oven was small and dirty and not able to be used as it smoked at low temps, kitchen was small for meal preparation. Hot water does smell sulphuric when showering. No parking nearby, parking is by meter every day from 9-6pm cheapest nearby is P2 zone nearby 125 ISK per hour ($1 approx).
