Never had chance to go yto the spa but looked lovely

The vegetarian dinner I had was excellent, and breakfast was served promptly and well. I left behind my chargers and did not realise until they phoned me on my way home (a long distance away). They returned them immediately which was a lifesaver. Very kind of them.

Spotlessly clean, excellent food clean nice size room
Couldn't open the window due to the smell from cows but the site does say its a working dairy farm

The location of the hotel is delightful. It is on the land of a working farm. The 'Aroma of the countryside' is only outside and is not overwhelming but the views of the surrounding countryside, hills and valley are simply breath-taking.
The room was warm, clean, well appointed and spacious. The en-suite had a bath and shower - both of which were ideal in size and suitability with plenty of hot water. Even the complimentary soaps, conditioner, shampoo etc. were of excellent quality. There was a lovely 'welcome pack' in the room of quality shortbread, mineral water and so on.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable with crisp clean and well balanced linen / duvet / pillows.
The staff at the property were truly magnificent and could not possibly have been more accommodating, professional, friendly or helpful. For example, on arrival there was a minor problem with the TV in our room - no problem, instantly upgraded our room to solve the issue. We were not certain of times that we wanted to book the pool facilities - no worries, they told us when it was busy and booked us in on the spot whenever we felt like going. Additional service and support was polite, friendly, instantaneous and complete. Charleene (front desk & room / hotel support), Jaz (restaurant) & Elizabeth (spa / pool facilities) were truly magnificent. Nothing was too much trouble, we were always made to feel welcome and supported. They were tremendous.
Our package included breakfast, which was very very good with quality ingredients and good options. It was well presented, perfectly cooked, plentiful, extra juice and toast as needed, and a magnificent way of starting the day.
The dinner menu was rather limited and, to be honest, somewhat expensive for what you had. The food at dinner was nice, not great, not value for money and not cooked to perfection, but nice - which means that at £70 for two starters, two mains and two drinks, we decided to eat out on the second evening. The food elsewhere was bigger portions, better cooked and half the price. As an example, Starter of tomato soup was truly delicious, but calamari was overcooked. Main dish of lamb, colcannon and crushed peas - lamb was meat pieces compacted into a portion (very tasty but overcooked), colcannon was not mash with either cabbage or kale (which is what colcannon should be) but, instead was mash with a sprinkling of what seemed to be a dried herb- tasty but not authentic. The evening meal was nice, but not good restaurant quality. That said, the chef was very accommodating in any changes that we made to our order (I ordered veg instead of crushed peas, my partner ordered chips instead of colcannon /mash).

Lovely cosy hotel, nice pool and sauna, friendly staff and food was fresh and tasty. Really relaxing environment.

delicious breakfast and very friendly staff in the restaurant
No heating nor hot water on the day of arrival in our room due to a general boiler break down from when we arrived 4pm to 9pm. We had to have cold shower after we went swimming on site with our 2 kids- 9 & 3 years old. Even at their leisure facility the showers were cold. No compensation of any kind, customer gesture, drinks at restaurant nor meals offered by the hotel on the day nor by the hotel manager Elizabeth at check out. We just received verbal apologies for a stay that we paid over £500 for 3 nights. Plus we had 2 evenings with our meals taken on site at their restaurant. We also learnt from local residents who are members of the hotel leisure facility that the hotel had already issues with hot water.
In our family room, the shower door had a big gap at the bottom so when showering water was leaking out of the shower cubicle into the whole bathroom. As this couldn't be fixed, the hotel kindly offered us to move us to another family room. This other room had a shower cubicle not as clean as it should be. When showering, some black dirt were coming off from the bottom of the shower panel and shower door. This was absolutely disgusting! We managed to clear off all that dirt just by washing it off using the shower head and water. Obviously, the standards of cleaning are very poor/basic. In both rooms, the general state of the bathroom could do with some refurbishments and deep cleanliness. Quite basic and old fashion style for a 4stars hotel. In both rooms, the double bed mattresses could also do with new ones as they were quite used, too soft. Overall, this hotel is just not meeting -no longer?- the standards of what it is expected of a 4 stars hotel in this country especially when it comes down to customer services. We are not recommending this place at this rate and

Large room. Comfortable bed. Nice dinner. Staff friendly. Nice complimentary pack of Welsh cakes.
Room cold. Limited and intermittent hot warm. Low ceiling (room was basically a converted loft). Breakfast average (toast resembled melta toast ie was rock hard / sausage lacked flavour). Over priced room.

The hotel is quiet and beautiful. The location is wonderful and the facilities are excellent and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and a good size. The food in the restaurant was second to none.
The bar prices were a little steep and there were children's swimming lessons going on which made me feel a little awkward

The bedroom was lovely and also the view was gorgeous.
we had breakfast and the lady was very lovely and we was very happy and very satisfied with her service skills/helpfulness.
Upon arrival on the hotel I was greeted with some Women who didn’t have the best of attitudes. I called the property myself prior to arrival to check the situation on the swimming pool, got told didn’t have to book would be all ok. this wasn’t the case as the receptionist was very blunt. The swimming pool was all greenish in colour, very dirty and disappointing. I didn’t use it again after that as I felt like I was going to get ill, was also bits floating aroun. The picture was lovely and blue. false advertisement on the property, looks nothing like the picture very old fashioned, dirty and grubby.
the bedroom was absolutely gorgeous but had a dripping toilet so all you could hear was “ drip, drip, drip, drip “

The surroundings of the property were pretty and idyllic.
Checkout time is a little early and would benefit from being an hour later.

Really comfortable, great leisure facilities, food was great, ample parking.
Little bit of a wait for breakfast, the room was quite warm and while a fan was provided, it was very loud. These were very minor things however.
7.0
The restaurant area was nicely presented and the food selection for breakfast was good.
The staff were friendly and accommodating
Slightly dated decoration in the rooms with some maintenance issues. The pool area could do with a revamp

the rooms provided were clean and tidy
the staff was amazing in receiving and cooperative
one of the rooms was looking on adjacent farm and when window kept open a smell get in room
7.0
Very quiet, nature, park for kids near the hotel
Family room not completely compartmented, little privacy from kids which the photos did not evidence. Over priced for what we’ve got given £549 for 2 nights. Staff too restrictive (more the hotel & spa), the bar staff particularly one lady very lovely.
