Breakfast was not included
Staff and waiters could have been a little more friendly.
The Hotel could have provided information on the ferry to the island and or help book it.

Uitzicht op meer. Wel heel veel wind…
Kamer niet goed onderhouden. Kamer niet helemaal schoon. Personeel niet geïnteresseerd in klanten. Glas wijn erg duur nl 8,50. Bar dicht om 20.30.

Location was beautiful, staff was friendly, food was good.
I booked the family room with 2 queens and 2 twins, pool table (according to booking.com’s pics). Upon arrival I was told: 1) breakfast was not included as it says on booking.com and 2) family room was not available because the family that was there decided to stay another day, although my reservations were already confirmed. So we were given 2 separate rooms, that in the end cost more than what the family room would have. The accommodations weren’t 100%. Room #4 smelled like body odor. Both rooms we were in had stains on the covers

I liked that the hotel had its own private the beach. The pool was also nice.
Cobwebs and spiders absolutely everywhere. Room is very bare for the money that you're paying. Also, breakfast menu sucks.

The food was outstanding and the service was top notch.
There was a ALL NIGHT party that kept most of the hotel customers awake. The hotel manager did give us a free breakfast for the stated issue.

Super clean, staff was super friendly
There were a couple of small roof leaks, but they said they would take care of them.

Food from Resturant was ok .
Room had mold all over bathroom ceiling . Beds and pillows uncomfortable . Very dated and not very clean. Much better options around . Very expensive accommodation and food .

nice hotel with decent facilities and beach location very good. Only negative is that it is a little pricey for ometepe
price a little high

Nice place, clean bathroom & good breakfast which had an extra cost. The place was practically empty whilst we were there & we ate in the hotel restaurant the 2 evenings we stayed - both meals were good. although quite pricey - being on an island created this I guess! Not a lot close by, other than a couple of backpacker places with similar types of restaurants / bars but there is A very nice walk immediately outside the entrance to the hotel which follows a path for about a mile & we saw many different birds & some monkeys - this leads around back onto the main road about 500m from the hotel - and you have to pay on exit.

Love Ometepe, hotel was wonderful
No hammock, although every other room had one

Very nice beach, AC, beautiful environment.
Staff not very helpful

Beautiful property, spacious and clean room. We were so thankful for the hot shower with excellent water pressure. The pool on the property was an added bonus to cool down from the hot weather and sun. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They arranged for us to rent an ATV for one day, it was delivered and picked up directly at the hotel. Staff also arranged for us to go kayaking with a guide, including transportation to the kayak site. We were able to have some laundry done.
Food was really good, especially their breakfast crepes and delicious fresh fruit.
The hotel has a truck that can be hired for transportation to and from the ferries.
The only issue we encountered was with the toilet in our room which required a tricky maneuver to flush.
4.5
Nice little hotel with beautiful views and grounds. Many individual areas to sit and and a hammock on the porch. Hot water for the shower .
The pool was full and working. The hotel has a generater so able to function during power cuts. Good WiFi .
Good communication prior to our arrival and the hotel arranged our transfer from the ferry. Very relaxing place to stay.
The staff were helpful if you could find them and there could have been more information available regards trips or places of interest.

We absolutely loved Hotel Villa Paraíso. It truly is a PARADISE as its name reads. The views of the lake from the rooms are breathtaking. The staff is incredibly friendly and courteous. We felt they were truly attentive to our needs and requests. The food in the restaurant was delicious and definitely a treat to sit and eat with such a beautiful view and breeze from the lake. The rooms were very clean, with working hot water and comfortable beds. We will definitely return to this beautiful hotel.

Ww had hot water & the food was good.
The rooms were rundown & the gardens were a mess. There were swarms of bugs so we couldn't sit outside.

Cute little nice hotel with beautiful views.

The area is beautiful - directly at the beach with great views. Rooms are spacious and beds comfy. Nice breakfast and staff was nice and helpful.
My room was not very clean, bathroom smelled like fish, ants in my bed. When i arrived the pool was not usable as they just filled in the water. That lasted for 1 1/2 days. I had dinner once which was horrible - chicken burnt black from the outside and raw inside. Staff was nice, helped me a lot and wven gave me a free lift, but you always needed to search for them and always had the feeling you disturb.
Its a nice place to stay - but too overpriced for what you get.

the lake provides cool winds so it’s very comfortable here in March. Its located on the beach so aside from stairs, easy access.

pool was a little dingy and dirty, staff wasn’t all that friendly. they rushed us out of our room to do some fumigation.
