Hosts where 1st class,as was the property and the location. The hosts where very friendly and knowledgeable. The property was well appointed and full of character. If you are visiting the area for the great war experience you will not find better.
Nothing.

Excellent, spacious property and rooms were decorated and furnished to a high standard to match the WW1 setting.
The hosts John and Claire were very welcoming and John very kindly gave up his time to show us several of the interesting sights of the area. How lovely that John had also took the time to research about our relative who had been killed during the war so that we were able to learn more about his last moments in the Guillemont area.

The kindness of John and Claire. Perfect place for families or friend reunions. Practical, charming and comfortable. Very nice decoration linked the town history and world war 1. Perfect garden for kids the bbq place and veranda that allow you being “outside” even during bad weather conditions.

Very comfortable house with big garden. The house is beautifully decorated, with lots of ornaments, books and DVD's of WW1. The owners managed to make it also a very practical house to live in, with multiple bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and enough comfortable couches to read a book or relax. Outside is also a veranda, and for cold days there is a serre. It is very well situated to visit the WW1 sites.

John and Claire were very welcoming hosts . The house was spacious and warm for 8 of us . It had an excellent extensive library on WW1 ,an impressive German dug out in the cellar and the house was furnished with interesting artefacts and memorabilia . It was no distance to the WW1 sites of interest . We hope to return one day .

Perfect host, perfect position, and if the WW1 history is your thing, there is no better place to stay, John was superb
