Peaceful and serene lakeside hideaway with infinity pool and outdoors dining, helpful friendly staff

Lovely cottage room with four poster bed with mosquito net and mini kitchen with kettle and fridge. Great shower with hot water and nice big bathroom. Large terrace looking out over a peaceful tidal lake with hammock to enjoy the wildlife....wading birds, and moniter lizards..very quiet and serene spot...usually I imagine... Fabulous infinity pool open all day and night...with gorgeous views out over the countryside of coconut and banana plantations and jungle in the distance... Very friendly and helpful hosts who were only too happy to help with anything. Fresh, tasty food. Will organise Tuc tuc to take you anywhere. Very near to The Brief Garden and Lunaganga, two beautiful houses and gardens worth visiting while there.

It was the host's birthday and the celebrations went on day and night for two of the days I was there, with extremely loud Karaoke from 7.00am and into the night...with the hosts friends round the pool. I was welcome to join them but I was looking for some peace and quiet away from the bustle of life, so this just grated with me. If you like party life, this is the place to be! But for a quiet getaway in nature, just check that there's no celebrations going on while you're there, then it will be perfect.

Ein wundervoller Geheimtipp!

Ein wunderbarer Ort mit einem funktionierenden Ökosystem. Diese Unterkunft hat uns total überrascht, es ist viel besser als auf den Fotos. Die bungalows sind großzügig und direkt am Wasser gelegen. Wir haben unzählige Tiere fotografieren können. Fast wie eine kleine Privatsafari. Die Dusche mit Seeblick und das Bett sehr bequem mit moskitonetz. Auch genügend Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten für Kleidung ist vorhanden. Morgen aufstehen ist wie im Dschungel. Abends, aber nur abends braucht man auf der Terrasse ein Moskitospray. Morgens nicht. Zum essen auch nicht. Wir haben ohne Klimaanlage und mit offenen Terrassenfenstern geschlafen. Eine besondere Erfahrung. Der infinity Pool ist so super und der Besitzer und seine Familie versuchen alles möglich zu machen. Bei dem Wunsch hier abends zu essen, bitte um vorherige Anmeldung. Wir sind im Moment noch hier und möchten hier gar nicht mehr weg. So eine Ruhe mitten in der Natur. Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich ein versteckter Geheimtipp.

Location was very beautiful. Was way better than i expected. Staff was friendly and the foods were very delicious and also worth the price. Rooms were very clean and spacious with comfort. Everything was great and we are planning to come back again soon.

Perfect

It was a dazzling and elegant place to spend your time with your loved ones. The staff was friendly. Foods were delicious and worth the price. I loved the evening by the infinity pool. That view was eye-catching. The place was so good that we extended our stay by one more night. Will probably come back for a longer stay.

Extraordinary

Loved everything. A very relaxing place to be. Family friendly and very charming. The infinity pool is mind blowing with the green nature surrounding. Room And the bathroom was very clean with space. Staff was very helpful and kind. Foods were delicious. Overall everything was great and is absolutely worth the price with the current situation of the country. We are looking forward to visit again on our next vacation.

We had a great time at Jungle Heart Cabanas. Room was very clean, foods were delicious, green view surrounding the property was eye catching and very relaxing. Staff and the management was really friendly. Privacy is very high and this would be a perfect stay for people who look forward for relax, nature and a peaceful holiday with a homely feel. Will surely come back.

We had a great time at Jungle Heart Cabanas. Room was super clean and spacious. Food was very delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We loved the evening at the infinity pool. This was one of the best places we've been in Sri Lanka. Was totally worth the price. Will surely visit again.

A peaceful paradise

It was a very lovely stay at this precious place. Foods were delicious and the rooms were very spacious and clean. The view of the sunset by the infinity pool was the my favorite. We were expecting a quiet and a peaceful stay away from the busy and noisy crowd of the city, and this place was very helpful. It was peaceful than we expected with the green nature surrounding from every side. We also saw a variety of birds at the property's lake. It was totally worth the price. Will surely come for another stay.

Environment

Food, they charged 1000 rupees per head for dinner. They arranged us spaghetti with sea food. Its not value that much. If we order from outside we will have good foods. Bathroom It had glass door.

Fantastic location, surrounded by nature. Lovely pool. Comfortable rooms with great barhrooms.

The location is really special - and a little remote. The owner helped with tuktuk’s when needed.

a must stay in Sri Lanka

The best hotel I have ever been in my life, you really need to visit this place. It is perfect in all the ways - rooms are clean, comfortable, wonderful pool, amazing jungle view and wild animals in it. And what really makes this place exceptional is the owner Ranil and his family, who make your stay unforgettable, starting with the huge plate of fruits in the morning, lots of care during the day that you feel really excited. Dinner is a must to taste.
