About this apartment rental
Fully furnished brick built holiday home with patio and stunning sea views just a 3 minute stroll from the beach or approximately 30 minutes along the South West Coastal Path from Looe.
No smoking, no pets and no chewing gum indoors please.
The apartment is double glazed and comprises of : a lovely, comfortable lounge / dining area with wall mounted FreeSat tv and new sofas; wifi; 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a sturdy single bunk over a double bed (suitable for adults as well as kids !); a modern fully fitted kitchen; stylish toilet / bathroom with electric shower, and a patio with picnic bench. When opened up the lounge coffee table reveals a roulette wheel, dice and card tables (see photos) - hours of indoor, cheap family entertainment !
The apartment will be fully cleaned with bleach and other anti-bacterial cleaners between guest stays and is all yours for the duration of your stay. Clean, laundered bedding and towels (for use in the villa) are included and beds will be made up for your arrival. Please bring your own towels for use on the beach.
For those with children (and for the big kids !) there are crab lines, body board, two adult (sizes XL and L, full length) and two junior ("Age 14" shorties) wet suits as well as a BBQ in the shed, feel free to use them during your stay.
Everything runs on electricity and there will be at least £10 credit on the meter when you arrive, additional pre-paid cards can be bought on site as necessary but £15 is more than adequate for a week during the summer (unless you leave all of the lights and appliances on !). Please ensure the water heater is switched off, all perishable items removed and the bins are emptied on departure.
Parking is in the private car park in the valley approx 100 metres away after unloading at foot of the villa steps. All visitors to the resort (whether staying guests or not) are required to pay for car parking; for long staying / regular visiting guests there are weekly and monthly charges of £20 and £40 respectively (so £40 if staying between 1 and 4 weeks). There is a vehicle number recognition system in place, you have 30 minutes to unload (and load on departure) your car on the access road beneath the villa then you must park in the car park or the system will issue fines which you are responsible for.
There are 19 steps up to the property, please take this into account before booking.
Millendreath is a popular holiday village ideal as a base from which to strike out to the rest of Cornwall or to relax by the sea. Locally there is a popular licensed beach side bistro although I advise booking if you are thinking of eating there at night. Kayaks and SUPs (paddle boards) are available to hire on the beach. Nearby Looe is either a short car or taxi ride away or a 30 minute walk along the South West Coastal Path and offers everything you would expect from a Cornish fishing port - restaurants, bars, shops, boat trips, boat hire etc. In the opposite direction (East) Seaton is another coastal village with a lovely beach, cafe and restaurants.
Whilst your own private transport is recommended taxis are plentiful and there is a "tourist bus" during the summer high season that runs a circuitous route from the top of Mays Lane (the road into Millendreath) to Looe and Polperro and the main holiday camps on a regular basis.

The accommodation offers everything you need. Clean, plenty of space and a great terrace with a view of the sea. Once you arrive, check-in is quick and easy. 8 flights of stairs, easy to manage, and you are standing in front of the entrance door. To unload the car, you can drive up to the stairs. Then you park the car in the large parking lot and pay 25 pounds a week.
Whether it's a stove, fridge, toaster, kettle or whatever else you need, everything is there. A large bathroom invites you to shower. Bath towels are provided. A table and benches on the terrace invite you to sit in the sun (we had breakfast on the terrace every morning).
The location of the accommodation is very quiet. There is a beach bar in the immediate vicinity, where you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine. You can also do a number of water sports here.
Looe is a must to.The walk there on the South Coast Path is easy and beautiful. We walked the South Coast Path in both directions from Millendreath. The walk to Polperro (approx. 5 hours there and back with a stop in Talland Bay) and to Seaton/Downderry (approx. 1 hour) were the absolute highlights.
If you come at the right time of year (like us), you should definitely plan a visit to the Royal Cornwall Show. We have now visited the show for the second time and are thrilled.
Looe and Seaton have great pubs and restaurants.

Lovely stay in Millendreath.
The host was extremely friendly and answered all emails or texts by the next day 😁. We had lots of relevant information given to us, even down to the toll fee at Plymouth. In the Chalet we had a lovely sea view and the kitchen and bathroom have obviously just been done. Comfy beds and comfy sofas too. There is good WiFi and we used £18 on the electricity at a rainy half term! We would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway
The site is very quiet as most chalets are privately owned. Graeme was so helpful and was available for any questions we had. The chalet had everything you could need.
We would definitely head down there again - in fact we looked to extend our stay but it was fully booked
Thank you

A Stunning Chalet, had absolutely everything you need for your holiday, very comfortable and made you feel relaxed. Well suited for a family sharing as plenty of room and lots of added items for the children for the beach.
Conveniently located and only 5 min walk to the beach.
The town is only a short drive, with plenty of restaurants and shops.Highly recommend and we will be going back.

Great villa in a great location
We had a great time staying in Millendreath, using it as a base to explore Cornwall during our week. The villa is based in a beautiful, quiet valley, close to the beach which has a cafe, a bar and also offers a range of water activities.
The villa itself was lovely and clean when we arrived, with the key being in a secure box it meant we could arrive anytime. We did have a couple of issues early on with small water leaks in the newly fitted kitchen and bathroom but the owner was contactable and made arrangements for this to be fixed ASAP which is the most important thing.
Overall we had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay in Cornwall. We can't thank the owner enough for being on hand to help us when we needed it and he provided really handy information about how to get there and what to do in the local area.

superb property
A spotless property with beautiful sea views, a five minute stroll to the safe sandy beach.
With the benefit of a fully enclosed gated balcony this retreat is suitable for families with young children. We had wonderful weather and were able to eat al fresco using the bar b que supplied but we were close enough to Looe where there are plenty of cafe's and restaurants not forgetting the café on the beach with the bar opposite.
The gaming coffee table in the lounge proved a great success once the children were in bed and the tv reception was perfect. We shall be returning to enjoy more of this beautiful place.

Fantastic location. Perfect accommodation! Brilliant!
This is a must stay for anyone looking to get away. What takes your breath away is the view from the balcony of this accommodation. Stunning! Everything you could need from the apartment. Comfortable, modern and spotless. Which brings me to the owner Graeme, fantastic bloke. Could not of done more for us, took the time to make sure we had everything. Has a ball of knowledge of the surrounding areas. Top man!
Will 100% be back to the beautiful corner of the world. My son loved it, just wanted to stay longer.
Thank you Graeme. See you again soon!!!
Love every second!!!!
