About this villa rental

Extraordinary villa in the Albaycín neighborhood with views of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. Private garden of 1070m2 with large pool. Main house: large living room, kitchen, 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus toilet, and tower with roof. Guest house for 4 people. Sauna.
All rooms have air conditioning and heating.

This beautiful Carmen, located in the upper part of the Albaycín and with very good access by car, has a main house of 450m2 for 8 people, a guest house of 80m2 for 4 people, and a leafy private garden of 1070m2 with pool of 12 x 7 m, and garage.

On the ground floor, the main house has a huge living room with fireplace and dining area with table for 10 people, a charming kitchen and a toilet, as well as a large hall. On the first floor is the master bedroom, with beautiful views, living area with fireplace, 55 ”television, and a large bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub and shower; a double bedroom with full bathroom, which is also accessed from the hallway; and another double bedroom. The second floor is formed by a tower with spectacular views of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. Here is a conservatory with two single beds and a large roof terrace.

The guest house has a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, and a lounge on the first floor. Here is also the sauna, for 2 people.

In the garden there are all kinds of furniture to relax, as well as a table where 10 people or more can eat.

This is truly a wonderful property. The house itself is extraordinary. The history of the place is amazing and the multitude of pictures and artifacts bear witness to that. The garden and pool are a wonderful discovery within the city. The pool saved us, as we were there during an especially hot spell. Ignacio was an especially helpful host; communication with him both before and during our visit was excellent. The following few comments are not meant to detract from the overall superior nature of the property, but rather to let prospective renters know a few things which may or may not matter to them, but that did matter to us. First of all, only bedrooms are air conditioned, and even the existing air conditioners cannot all be used at one time due to legal restrictions regarding kilowatt hours. During our stay daytime temperatures averaged 102, so this was important to us. Secondly, there was a misunderstanding about bed size. The initial description does not specify bed size, but later in the listing there is mention of a king bed and two queens. This is not accurate. The master suite does not have a king size bed, but rather a queen. And the other two bedrooms in the main house do not have queen beds, but regular doubles. Again, this may not matter to many guests, but for some of us it did. Given these few caveats, I would definitely recommend this property to groups who want a peaceful vacation home still within the city.

This property is an oasis in the middle of the bustling city. The house is huge and decorated in old Spanish style. The private courtyard is breathtaking with lemon and orange trees and beautiful flowers. The pool is wonderful and the location is perfect! It is an easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacy. Ignacio the property manager went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable and was extremely helpful in guiding us around the area. He even helped me to recover my lost cell phone! The house is furnished with everything you could possibly want...hairdryers, clothes iron and washing machine. Loved it here!

Absolutely beautiful, well appointed home with gardens, patios and terraces. Ideal for a family vacation. Ignacio met us at the house and gave us a full tour including showing us where everything was and how things worked. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

We stayed here as a group of six adults, the house is incredible. There are so many beautiful spots to hang out we needed longer! The roof terrace was our favourite with amazing views but we loved relaxing by the pool too and in the garden. Next time we will stay for longer the location is also fabulous with some great restaurants nearby.

This is the most spectacular rental property I've stayed in. As impressive as the listing and related photos are, they don't do it justice--the space is huge, attractive, and well-maintained, and the location could not be better. Communication with Ignacio was very easy, he was responsive and tremendously helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if in the area.

Que dire de plus sur ce séjour parfait... Une maison avec une âme qui s'apparente à un mini musée. Tout le confort nécessaire. Une piscine de rêve et un hote aux petits soins. Nous y reviendrons sûrement un jour car nous y avons pris de merveilleux souvenirs dans un quartier exceptionnel oú Ignacio et sa maman ont veillé sur nous. Encore merci pour tout!

Maison très sympathique et richement décorés d'objets anciens. L'emplacement est idéal en hauteur dans la vieille ville. Néanmoins compte tenu du prix, certaines prestations sont bien en deçà de ce qui est attendu ; manque de verre, table de 8 et non de 12. Pas de bouteilles d'eau dans frigo ni dans les chambres. Et surtout éviter la paella de la femme de ménage recommandé par les propriétaires.

Peace and quiet in Albaycin

One of the most amazing properties I have ever stayed in. Perfect location, with spectacular Granada life with in easy walking distance, and if you don't want to walk jump a cab. Ignacio is a super host and the house is a museum in itself, full of period art and antiques. Well stocked kitchen and aircon in every room, though the house is deliciously fresh. We were 12 people and there was plenty of space for everyone to be together o apart and have a place for themselves. The fotos speak for themselves, we will be going back.
