Beautiful hotel, friendly staff
No fridge in the room and you enter the bedroom using the bathroom

great pool and the restaurant is good.
room was not well maintained. we had the most expensive type of room; shower was leaking into bathroom, small room, bad view.

The property smelled clean. The restaurant food was delicious. Pool area was very clean. Beds were comfortable!

The staff was great, loved the rooftop pool and the restaurant. Really good food all around. Also loved the record player with the vinyl, wish they had more titles though. Overall a great stay. Lovely hotel.
I didn't realize my room would face another wall. Made the room very dark. There were also alot of noises, especially from the vents. Our room wasn't cleaned the first day and someone opened the door while we were still in the room. Also didn't realize that the pool would be open to the public so had to be strategic about when to go which was a bit inconvenient. Location wasn't great. Not the hotels fault ,but it was marked as great location but it's not near much unless you are referring to the college. Thankful nothing more than a 10 min lyft but I thought it would be more central.

nice hotel
no personal touch. rushed check in. no mention of our celebration which was discussed in advance and very important to us. communication prior to our stay indicated that our 35th wedding anniversary celebration had been noted and that they would help us celebrate. there want even a mention throughout our entire stay.
on our last day a valet?/staff member knocked on our door on 3 occasions-one of them very early when we were still in bed and undressed. even though we called out “just a minute please” he continued to open the door. on all occasions when I opened the door and asked what he had knocked for —he couldn’t answer-he just shrugged his shoulders. he couldn’t speak a word of English and o found the situation very I comfortable and distressing.
the hotel cost us a lot of money and we don’t feel that it was well spent at all. little touched that we thought would make our stay special we’re not special. even the record choosing didn’t work out.
not happy at all with most of our stay

A little expensive

modern and clean. nice rooftop bar. we liked the record players in the room
location . unless you’re going to the university for business. not much in the area

Excellent location. Comfortable beds. Staff were very nice.
More towel racks and shelving in the bathroom. There were two of us staying and only one knob to hang the bath towel. They tried to minimize the space of the bathroom, so the placed the towels inside the closet in the room, which I found to be inconvenient, especially when there are nowhere else in the bathroom to place the towels. Tea selection was very limited.

the staff is extremely tuned in to their guests. they made sure we were accommodated in every aspect of service.

Rooftop pool is amazing. Great view and comfy seating. Location is close to UT and walkable to downtown.
Staff was either great or nonexistent. One woman (Amanda) seemed to be doing everything at the rooftop. Service was good during the evening. Days there was no service on the rooftop or in guest rooms. The pool deck area got quite dirty. The rooms were clean but dated. Carpet was worn. The price was high for the value.

The hotel was gorgeous and staff was excellent and friendly.
The bed was a bit on the hard side

nice rooms, modern hotel. Great gym
service wasn’t great at all. our room wasn’t made by the end of the day and we had to continually ask for replacement coffee for the room
4.5
The ambiance, location and particularly the vinyl record concept with excellent record players in the room was fantastic. The player and the coffee maker needed repair while we were there. They should check things more often. The price was like nicer hotels so that was a bit disappointing. I think you are paying for a terrific location.

Absolutely fantastic staff, well appointed rooms, great dining options, easy access with a vehicle
We had to leave.

I was robbed by the staff here after leaving my jewelry box in the safe. While management tried to do something about it, they didn’t really act with much urgency considering the circumstances.

This is my 2nd stay at the property in the past 60 days and have another booked for next month. My primary reason is because the excellent customer care Jason Arnold has given to my party. He is professional, and runs a great bar. When we met him he was manager of the Rooftop bar and now he is manages the AC bar, too. You have found an excellent, loyal employee and I hope you realize what a gem you have. In addition, we have grown to adore Isa at the front desk. She always greets us with a warm welcome and goes the extra mile guide to excellent situations. Her smile and attention to detail should not go without proper recognition.
Make sure you pass on the kudos to these exceptional employees. We travel frequently and these two have made The Otis our favorite. Good employees are hard to find and you have two excellent ones!
