Ein wunderbares Frühstück.
Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal, ruhig gelegen, mit hübschen Garten.
Fußläufig zu den Grachten.

A great location and a lovely room
The Church bells all through the night

The rooms under a bridge with windows to the canal had their charm…
… but it was damp and humid in the rooms, so if you have allergies or asthma one should be aware.
4.3
The room did not match the description at all. The description said “2-story studio, city view, private entrance”, but the rooms were (literally) under a bridge, the only view was the wall on the other side of the canal and the entrance was shared with another.
There was also water leaking in , during rainfall.

No breakfast. The building was beautiful and very elegant.
Perhaps not being on the street where everyone could see in. That’s about it.

We were late because of train delays but staff were so helpful in making sure we got our keys and into our room. V tasteful yet unpretentious decoration of the room, v comfy bed, good mini-bar for drinks and snacks, a lovely bathroom, and all with a view of an inner courtyard, v peaceful. It was convenient for the station and our day trip to the Botanic Gdns the next day - the hotel guarded our bags for the day, thanks!

Building full of history, wonderfuly preserved. Great location, close to railway station (15 min walk) and city centre. Will be happy to come back.

Quality of food was excellent , simple but tasty . While the choice was limited it was perfect for the hotel and fulfilled our needs
We had difficulty opening the windows and they were very heavy to do so . It would be also good to have some type of an fan in the toilet
4.3
amazing building right at the heart of Utrecht, rooms are spacious and clean. our room was facing the garden and courtyard - amazing view!! easy to find and close to everything. very quiet area.
mattress could be harder/better, but that is personale preferance.
4.3
Very obliging staff. Great location.
Nothing to complain about!

We didn't have breakfast.
The location was excellent.
The staff were really helpful.
We were a little cold during the nights.
4.3
beautiful old building. everything was perfectly clean and well done.
noisy rooms, because the historical building has wooden floors and walls it feels like you hear everyone walk and talk.
4.3
great building
more like a hostel than a hotel. minimal staff poor heating, rooms not cleaned/refreshed
poorly insulted so noisy and v cold

In the heart of Utrecht. A beautiful historic property lovingly restored.
Staff very friendly and helpful and room very comfortable with lovely antiques but also well appointed - coffee machine , kettle, minibar. Excellent shower
4.3
Very nice renovation and interior design of the rooms. Excellent location. Good size rooms. Decent bathroom, tiny toilet. Romantic place.
There is a basic breakfast basket and Sunday we could order eggs, but we probably would have enjoyed eating out better. Monday breakfast was super basic and not comparable to the Sunday version and staff was not easy to find. We can understand it's not a full fledged hotel experience, but given the price point we expected a slightly better service. Nearest car park is 10 min walk, no issue, just be clear about it in the marketing materials when booking.
4.3
Great location, right in the centre of the city! Lovely room with a stylish bathroom.
Breakfast; not what you would expect from a hotel breakfast.
4.3
Overall very comfortable, great location and very good breakfasts.
We were in the cellar room. The room was great but access to it was a problem because the key didn't work well - even some staff found it difficult. Needs a new lock.
4.3
The cellar suite is really special. A weird folding stable door leads down some steps to a large vaulted room with a really good en-suite bathroom. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable and the mini bar is well stocked and actually fairly reasonably priced.
The steps and door might a little bit of a challenge to negotiate when you come back to your room from the bar late at night. I didn’t mind this at all and it just added to the adventure, but it wouldn’t suit someone with mobility problems.
4.3
Large room
The code for keylock was incorrect.
They also could not address it even after many attempts, person did not know where the keylock was and could not open it.
I was staying in the rooms at the back, described as B&B.
This information about hotel Vs b&b was confusing on the site . Should be a separate entry
They should include a floor plan etc. They need to be on top of the keylock arrangements

Good location and building is charming
The room was freezing at night and no extra cover or blankets available. I booked "the best room", they don't mention is in the ground floor by the main entrance and reception - so I didn't sleep that night: from the cold and noise, one of the worse places I have ever stayed
4.3
charming and unique, perfect location, full of history
since it is an old building I was able to hear every single step from the room above or next by, other noises not so much. Maybe that would be good to add some rugs
4.3
Absolutely loved this hotel and the room we stayed in. It’s a beautiful building and the room was spacious and warm - close to everything in Utrecht. Friendly staff too.
4.3
It was rather cold in the room
Very noisy, the room was under the roof every noise from outside passed through, also the bell of the cathedral…
