Super locatie.

Excellent lady boss Ayesha; her hospitality & co-operation ;
It is next to mosque with 5 times loud azan speaker sound; can not sleep properly.

The staff were amazing when they found out the issues we faced upon check in.
Location is great.
Beautiful courtyard and wall murals.
Upon check we found that even though booking months in advance that we got two beds (put together) to make one instead of two as requested.
No towels available in the room. Toilet seat broken.
When asking the staff it was joked that ‘we didn’t know you were coming’
No cash machine as advertised (they had to get some man to come in and exchange money)
The mosque is extremely loud when you have a room near it to the right hand side.

Through booking.com I was able to arrange a taxi pickup and drop off reliably, which helped reduce stress. Location was good, walking distance to most places in downtown Dakar. Good wifi. Breakfast was simple and reasonable value. Payment by card available. Overall OK value for money.
There is no sound insulation in general and the mosque next door is super loud. Decor in room is basic and very dated but to be expected at this price point. The female staff were nice and helpful but the male staff less so.

Emplacement ok 👍

The location is great, in the centre of the city.

The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful.
It is closed to a Mosque so call for prayer at 4:20 am and 5:20 am disturb sleeps. You can sleep well again after the first call for prayer at 4:20 am. Sometimes, car passingby make noise as well.

Location was good. We had 2 rooms, and the single was definitely in better condition than the triple. Murals were nice, with a small beautiful courtyard. Nothing remarkable.
Seemed expensive for the quality. Can use an upgrade. Air-conditioning gave out 10 hours before departure. Linens were old and grey.

I did not get to stay here because the property cancelled my booking the night before
that they treated me so badly

Very good location
Lovely staff
Decent size room
My shower didn't hang up/attach to the wall and no shower curtain
It's very loud next to the mosque and from the courtyard.
There were no windows in my room

Lovely old place with 11 rooms. Surrounded by highrise.
Nice that it is a protected monument now!
It’s old and dated, but that’s the charm.

Old original building with cosy patio where you can sit and eat. Very friendly and very helpful staff! Very good price quality for the central area, but don't expect luxury. Very clean place.
Free early wake up call from the nearby mosque....

The staff are wonderful and so friendly and helpful. The location is great - everything you need is close by and the port is within walking distance. The central courtyard is an oasis and the food and drink is affordable and good quality. The room was simple and functional but comfortable. Hot water always available. Good Air Con. Very very clean!
There was nothing to complain about really. The water pressure wasn't always great but it didn't cause us any real issues. The bathroom could do with a bit of renovation, but the facilities were functional.

Great location in city center of Dakar and nice staff
Too expensive for what it has to offer. Bad isolation so you hear everything that’s going on the streets also the hotel rooms and équipements need some serious renovation

Nothing.
Overbooked, was taken to another hotel a block away. Awful experience. Bookings.com is partly responsible for this and should offer email or non phone support.

This is a splendid little family run hotel right in the heart of Dakar. The rooms are situated around courtyard so it is always peaceful despite being in a very bustling area. The staff are all helpful and kind. The driver is splendid.

Amazing place in the heart of Plateau, beautiful and super comfy Facilities, it really made the difference and made the stay unforgettable. The Courtyard is a true gem.

The staff was very nice.
The place is like an old guesthouse but the prices are for a modern hotel.

Good and central location at Dakar Plateau.
Nice and calm courtyard, relaxed atmosphere inside the hotel.
Friendly staff and helpful taxi driver.
Good value and reasonably priced especially considering Dakar hotel price standards.
The room was simple but decent and clean.
I would stay again.
Not a deal-breaker for me, but the semi-detached mosque will wake you up.
The breakfast is not bad, but as it's a simple breakfast, it would have been nice as it was 'free'/included in the price.

This is a splendid little hotel in an excellent location. There is a beautiful courtyard to sit in, an oasis of peace in the busy Plateau area. The staff are very good and do everything to help. There is a very good driver who will take you around.
Nothing.

Good location, comfy beds, aircon, nice courtyard
Had to ask for aircon remote, staff weren't that friendly (but were functional), bathroom light didn't work the next morning.

We had a lovely stay. The location is perfectly central. The staff was amazing and we had lovely time thanks to them. Owner and daughter were lovely and always ready to help. The driver proposed by the hotel is also great and will drive you around for great excursions!

The place I quite run down. Our room had no window.
