Nice peacful location and very convenient location

We did not request breakfast, even though they offered to get breakfast from outside and provide it as they do not prepare. Since we had an Electric Car, they were very supportive and provided a 15A plug for recharging the car and did not accept money for charging the car.

The bed covers may need replacing as we felt there might have been some dust mites.

Estuvimos muy bien. Conocimos al dueño y nos trató de 10! Nos dejo hacernos unos tes, e incluso fue a comprar más para podernos dar. Se preocupó de que estuviéramos bien. La verdad es que la estancia fue genial. Las camas muy bien también. Tiene cerca lugares para comer, a 5 minutos, puedes parar el bus...

Very friendly staff and ok facilities. A place to go for socializing, not necessarily for rest

The location was nice and the staff were very accommodating. The price was ok.

The rooms had absolutely no soundproofing. We were tired from a long day of travelling and wanted a good night sleep, but loud chatter could be heard clear as day late into the evening, and we were awoken around 6:15 by the same issue.

Homely stay!

Lovely rooms, especially liked the duvet! Close to town, walkable to main attractions and a tuk tuk was never far away. Close to the supermarket too! Manager was very helpful, let us use the kitchen and the common areas to eat takeaways!

首先我在booking预定了住宿，然后确认成功了，后来酒店说他们的错误说房间满了，意思让我自己取消。我取消是需要扣钱的，酒店为什么不通过booking取消房间，反而让客户取消？以后我打电话给booking确认一下，客服说确实没有房间，酒店给我安排另外一家住宿并且不需要支付费用，我就答应了！入住后这家酒店就开始问我要费用，而且更换的那家评分很低价格又高，你他妈的什么操作？这样的酒店老子不会自己预定，还去住那么多差的，奶奶的！

Our stay at New Royal Mount was an unforgettable experience that exceeded our expectations.

Location-wise, the hotel was ideally situated in Nuwara Eliya. It was convenient to explore nearby attractions while also providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The staff at New Royal Mount, deserve a special mention. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

Great Stay!!

Staff was very friendly, and the room had a beautiful view of Nuwaraeliya town.. walking distance to the town (5-10 minutes walk).. They let us use the kitchen without any additional charges and room was really comfy.. Bathroom was clean.. we had a nice stay there.. recommended for anyone.. specially for families.. Thank you New Royal Mount Hotel.. 🤗

We really felt like our home. Absolutely amazing.

Rifan and his team was amazing. Very kind and helpful in every aspect. The head of the staff Nagun always welcome us with a beautiful Smile. Its about 10 mins walk to the main Bus stand and very convenient for everything. We really enjoyed the place and highly recommend to anyone who want to stay in the city of Nuwara Eliya. We

The hotel ambience is good but the rooms require sprucing up.

Good host

The toilet door could not be locked. Also there was odour in the room, which was unbearable and the host was not ready to change. However he catered to our required of tea and helped us to get milk from the market in a short time.

Pleasant stay, nice room, comfortable location, good host.

Clean and nice room. Big enough. Big common areas, kitchen and balcony. Friendly staff who even helped with the jackets when it was cold outside. Also does laundry, tap water is drinkable. Center and bus station is in walking distance. Warm blankets and sunrise can be seen in the room from the bed. Clean carpets (in other hotels were tiles which was cold). Fresh air, good view.

Great stay

Overall I really loved the staff. There were extremely friendly and helpful. In our case we accidentally took the key from the other hotel we stayed before but these guys took care about it and solved it for us! 😊 The rooms were quite big and the beds very comfy.

The bathroom was very small.

bad experience

The place is far from a hotel, even a hustle. I don't know why people give them this rank, which is misleading. The place was really cold and there was no heater!! The toilet and shower were disturbing. 15 liters of warm water and then you should have waited for 15 minutes naked in the cold so you can continue washing. The room walls were dirty, and our room smelled so bad, sheets were smelled like someone peed on them. I think the price doesn't worth all this, maybe a few dollars more give you a much better experience. P.S: Booking.com didn't let me to upload all the images, see them in the google review or tripadvisor
