Super convenient location for doing the Twin Coast Cycle Route and made easier by shuttle service which is available to book. Motel room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Site has good security. Warm and friendly hosts.
Room is quite small but fair value.

Good location for my work event.
My 82 yr old father could not step up into or step out of the shower. Shower is not suitable for elderly people.

The accommodation was in a good, quiet location. The beds were excellent along with the parking.
We wanted a package which included the coast to coast cycle trip, shuttle, bike hire and accommodation. Our expectations of the cycle package were met.
Unfortunately the motel units are in need of some desperate maintenance. eg. Ranchslider lock very loose, kitchen faucet had almost detached from sink bench, toilet pan needed to be attached to the floor [rock n roll] black mould on bathroom ceiling and in the grout of the shower tiles, shower rose chest height [too low] To be fair the owner is upgrading the building eg new roof.

Room was clean and the bed comfortable.

The location is great. Close to supermarket and strip of main shops. The unit was good size for family of 6 and living room space was good.
Could use a little updating of bathroom. Nosey neighbour's close to motel.

Clean good sized room, Safe parking though We weren't sure if the sliding metal gate was to stop people getting in or us getting out! Comfy bed. Wifi was good. There was a table and chairs outside the room to have an evening drink on.
We are not keen on the wall mounted soap/shampoo, though this seems to be the trend now. The room perhaps needs a bit of a "refresh". Air con would have been good though the electric fan was a big help. There is not a really good place to sit and have breakfast - bar outside the room.

Excellent location, in midst of main township. Close to all shops, amenities within walking distance.

Shower - especially the shower rose height. Placed too short for adults.

Scenery and location
Shower stepping up into the shower was high

Nothing to like, as soon as we arrived we asked the reception to see the property first,he went in front of the unit door and said this is your room without opening the door, then he take us back and paid money.
As soon as we enter the room the room smell mouldy and we have no choice. The unit have no ventilation in the bathroom, kitchen,we have one small portable fan in the lounge we have to keep it on, the bed sheets got all hair inside looks like haven't been change, went we asked them he said are you people change sheets at home every day .He's so rude. We have bad experience ever not recommend anyone. 😒😒😒😒

Location was handy. Closer to. Shops
Stinking smell in the kitchen. Lot of flies and mosquitoes. Really poor and unhygienic. Not recommended for the price we paid. Ripoff.

Kaikohe is a small town, so everything was within walking distance.
Bathroom needs upgrading and more ventilation somehow, it was enough for the short stay we had.
