This small hotel has bright and airy modern and well maintained rooms, good beds and powerful showers. The food is outstanding. The nearby ancient ruins are breathtaking and the lake and its birdlife are stunning. Our host Mithat is a knowledgeable and loquacious tour guide. There’s a choice of other good restaurants in walking distance.
The hotel is set in a small farming community that seems to be struggling in the current economy. Village women can be overly insistent in selling their home-made trinkets. And you see and hear signs of the tough lives villagers live.

We had the most perfect stay at Pensyion Agora. From the really friendly welcome from Mithat and his family, to the lovely clean accommodation, to the delicious home cooked food and excellent wine selection, to the incredible local tour and guide from Mithat, his local knowledge was amazing. A quiet beautiful place, the location was stunning, the sunrise boat trip with Mehmet to see the Flamingos and other birds as the sun rose and the light on the shimmering lake was incredible. thanks to Mithat for arranging this for us.
We had just the best time here and hope to come back one day

Nothing, it was perfect

Kapikiri is a real discovery, off the beaten track and full of nice ruins. The location on the lake is beautiful. But it’s a very poor village so the available accommodation is poor. Our cabin was awful although set in a pretty garden.
Cabin was tiny and had an airco that sounded as if a truck was running it’s engine in the room, so we didn’t sleep a wink. The owner does his best but is also constantly complaining, including about guests, so that doesn’t help.

The outside of the hotel is very beautiful and well maintained.
Room and bathroom cleanliness is very good.
We were upgraded to a better room.
Value for money is very bad. We paid more than 110 euro for half board. At dinner, the food was delicious, however, we were only served water to drink. In the end, the owner was chatting with friends and, after waiting for dessert, we ended up giving up.
The wifi was not strong enough in the room, and this ended up causing us problems.
There was no shower stall in the bathroom, so the floor was wet after showering.
Breakfast left something to be desired. The watermelon served seemed to be the dessert we didn't eat at dinner the day before.
At checkout, we had to wait for more than half an hour, as the lady who served us didn't speak English and her son, responsible for the front desk, didn't show up.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly people, exceptionally good food.
Breakfast was copious and dinner was also plentiful and very tasty. Good choice of wines.

Ambience, spotlessly clean, helpful service

We loved Kapikiri - an opportunity to stay in a genuine village, amongst ancient ruins and an amazing landscape, without being overwhelmed by tourists. The Pansiyon is in keeping with the location - simple rooms and attractive common spaces in the heart of the village. The host was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners - everything, especially the use of local produce, reflected the thoughtful ethos of the family who run the pansiyon and a more sustainable, locally responsive approach to tourism.

This is such a special place absolutely - immersed in history and with a very hospitable and friendly host. The food was excellent and the location ideal to explore this ancient site get away from it all and explore the beautiful surroundings

Beautiful garden. A small oasis in Kapikiri to take a brake from everyday life. The guest house is owned by a family. Everybody was very nice and helpful. The dinner and breakfast was really good. Turkish home cooking, one of the best we had on our trip.

The welcome on arrival was super and we felt our entire stay was such a treat. Our small bungalow was nestled in a lovely garden and inside was everything we needed. The food for breakfast snd dinner was excellent Am sure this is the best place in Kapakiri!
Nothing!

An encredible rural experience off the beaten track. Loved the every single bit from a historical prologue on the area from the lovely host Mithat to cosy atmosphere of the room and wonderful heartfull food cooked by grandma herself. The place is full of character and peaople are very welcoming. Lots of flowers and fruite trees to explore around the house. You can order a range of addotional services like homemade dinner, a guided hike or a boat trip around lake Bafa that will be tailored to your needs. Be ready to reply to "merhaba" from every villager you meet on your way to the landmarks!
We thought 1 night will be enough, but one might want to stay longer.

What a lovely family atmosphere. Very genuine and relaxed. Wonderful food cooked with local ingredients .
Some very historic sites close by that are perhaps under appreciated considering the context.
The property is great!
The heat is another thing but that’s nature and seasonal so not properties fault.
