Tolles minimalistisches asiatisches Design
Schöner Wellnessbereich mit tollen Massagen
Sehr freundliches Personal

It is beautiful— you could sit at the pool or at the beach all day and never move. Peaceful, relaxing , beautiful. And easy to book any trip to island or land visits if you want to mo e about.
Nothing — everything was super

The beach front is amazing
The structure of the room! we stayed at the ocean front pool villa, but found the villa to be really tiny. Also our villa was right near the Italian restaurant which compromised privacy.
The attitude of the staff was ok, nothing regally warm. I had to really chase them over and over when it came to getting small things. Also, it was astonishing how they would assertively tell you about charges for everything. Maybe it’s the type of guests they have, that make them do this. For me this was demeaning if you compare how guest are managed at banyan tree, ritz, Waldorf etc. To quite an example: when I called front desk to ask if they had placed sufficient toiletries, they asked me to check how much was there and then went on to say “if you take the pouch that the toiletries are placed in there will be a charge of TBH XXX. 🤣🤣

Excellent and friendly personnel. Very easy to communicate in English. Breakfast was marvelous and very diverse and cater to western and eastern breakfast culture alike.
Very happy with everything. Nothing negative to add.

This was our second stay at the hotel. This time we stayed in the 2 bedroom pool villa. Everything was perfect. It was just too bad we couldn’t stay longer than 3 nights.
Nothing.

Beautiful quiet resort, with lots of lovely and attentive staff. Tubkaak is in a picture perfect location also. The restaurants are good quality and food for the most part is excellent. The private pool villas are stunning but the pools aren’t heated
The Tubkaak is reliant on Influencer marketing. There’s a lot of kind of cringy couples doing photo shoots, often getting in the way (there for free by invite we expect). We were there for our honeymoon, it felt as though influencers receive special treatment and attention. On the other hand, we didn’t receive a lot of attention given our type of trip. I.e the resort was very quiet, here you might expect easy upgrades to oversell the experience to honeymooners. But that’s perhaps a selfish thought on our side. we felt the mini bar should be complementary also given the Tubkaak is quite far from the nearest village and the general price per night. Lastly they should consider adding some covered beach cabanas, not a lot of coverage around the beach which isn’t ideal if you go on a rainy month

Overall, we enjoyed our stay with Tubkaak Krabi Boutique. That being said, it was also by far the most expensive place we stayed out during our travels in Thailand and Cambodia. However, even with that extra cost, it was still beat out by every other spot we stayed out on our trip.
Strong points for the property:
The grounds are beautiful. The green oasis that has been created it really wonderful -- mature trees, green walkways, stone and natural paths and buildings, water trickling at every turn. This is all behind the beach and water views even, so overall fantastic on the property.
The pool was very nice, great character and shape, an "island" sitting space with trees. The water was perfect temperature and kept very clean. We liked the "bubbles" that were on one side of the pool; however, we never did figure out when or how they came on randomly.
Our room was very nice. It was not large by any means, actually one of the smallest we had on our trip. However, the space was used efficiently and kept very clean. We had a nice balcony on the 2nd floor that overlooked the pool and out towards the sunset direction. The bathroom was also nice with an outdoor shower and tub. It had plenty of space for use as well.
We liked that the hotel kept the fridge stocked with waters, 2 cokes, 2 Schweppes, as well as beer. In addition, everything but the beer is free for that day and then they restock each day (you basically can have 2 cokes, 2 schweppes, and waters free each day). They also had 2 Kit Kats free upon your arrival and a box of cookies. Excellent.
The location worked for us, though it may not for everyone. It is far removed from town or any options for food or convenience stores, etc outside of the hotel. A taxi to "town" is about $15 each way. This was less desirable and splits between like and dislike for us.
Staff was overall friendly as well. The staff we encountered on the grounds always made a point to great us.
We enjoyed out stay overall; however, as mentioned above, this was far more expensive than any other hotel we stayed at on our travels. However, the cost doesn't make it better. Our stays at all of our less expensive properties prior were better overall experiences with service, warmth, comfort, and equal or better rooms themselves.
Service - The staff was friendly overall, most notably those on the grounds themselves. The reception, however, was less warm. It was just going through the motions, if that makes sense. You will understand when you stay at your other properties in Thailand, as it's like being greeted by family with true appreciation and warmth. Here, you're just a number.
Pool service - Our first couple days there was no service at the pool area. There's a table with a menu, but no one to order anything from. It was odd not to have someone fully staffed to help the pool area, especially for being a "5 star resort".
Turn down service - This is probably just us, but turn down service showed up at our door at the earliest time of 9:30 pm. It was after 10 pm on two of our nights. We never had a turn down service because they always came so late to the room. It was strange having a knock at the door at that hour.
Cost - Again, it's way too expensive here. The cost in Thailand is so, so affordable. Everything at this resort is off the charts in comparison. I assume they know a bunch of tourists are stuck at the resort due to the location, but it's hard to overlook after traveling through Thailand and Cambodia and knowing how much that Coke, Beer, or sandwich actually is... and then they tack on a service charge and resort fee on top of the inflated price also.
Beach - Typical resort problem, but there are very few chairs for the beach. Of those few, people would just lay towels down on them and disappear for hours.

We visited this resort in Dec and loved it so much retuned in March and 100% will be back
The staff and hotel are beautiful
The spa is incredible and unique total paradise
Food and drinks are very expensive it’s a shame as it puts you off eating and drinking there .
We ate twice at the hotel during our 6 night stay and the food was lovely just expensive

The location is great and this could be a gem but it is not or at least not for me.
the pool, the beach, the happy hours and restaurant always feel stressed rather than relaxed and chill. in 5 days I was not able to find that place. Also I find the hotel to be overall expensive and does not provide good value for money. also, there was a wedding and needless to say the hotel was just for the wedding guest for 24 hours. Other guest could just be wherever they found a place!
