Don’t be fooled by these 10 out of 10 reviews. If they could have all given Tokoriki 20 out of 10 they definitely would have! 😆😍
What a place! Everything was exactly as the best reviews on here say. The food was sensational. Fine dining always looks epic but sometimes the flavours can fall short. Not at Tokoriki! Taste was priority number one, and of course every dish looked beautiful too, meaning every meal was a little bit of heaven in itself. Changing the menu everyday is genius too.
I had a beachfront pool bure for a couple of nights R&R and the privacy, stunning views and fresh water pool made me never want to leave.
The staff are beyond epic. You’ll never experience better service elsewhere I don’t think (and I grew up in Fiji so have been to quite a few places!).
All in all, Tokoriki has utterly spoilt me in the best possible way. It’s a premium, world-class destination with a price tag to match (for good reason!) so now my holidays to Fiji are going to go up a bit as I can’t imagine going anywhere else!
I had a massage which didn’t go too well…I think the therapist was just having a bad day, as we all do.
The manager was so apologetic and offered me another complimentary massage, which I didn’t take her up on in the end. It would have been a nice touch to refund / discount the massage cost in my final bill but to be fair I did cancel just an hour before I was supposed to be there the second time.
This was the tiniest blip on my lil holiday at Tokoriki, and when I did speak up about it the spa manager responded amazingly.

Staff are genuine. They know your name.
Food is amazing.
Nothing. Having to leave.

Location and friendly staff.
Villa had very inadequate air conditioning (with non at all in the living area) and the bathrooms are long overdue for refurbishment. A room phone is a basic safety requirement in case of an emergency, not having one is dangerous. Food on the menu was frequently "sold out" and there is no way to order room service without having to make an international call from a cell phone (which not always had reception). Although we were aware prior to booking that there was no wifi and TV in the room, I have learned the lesson to never "try and switch off" from the world as it was unbearably boring.

Location was exceptional as were our dining experiences
Having gym facilities would have been good for those active type. We generally like to exercise in the morning then eat and rest afterwards

The design of the property is great. I loved being able to look out from the pool with to the sea views. The team went above and beyond for every guest

The staff. Everybody was sure to make you feel like a family. They remember every guest by their first names from day 1, very caring and warm, it’s concierge service. The property is tasteful, pool is nice, sunset dinner settings are great too. The dive centre is also super professional. I love that it is quiet and adult only so you do get a lot of peace and the views are spectacular.
The meals options are limited, given there’s no other dining options around. Breakfast is very expensive. It is quality food but too pricey stil for what it is. The room we stayed at had lots of ants in the bathroom. Also amenities are quite limited. If you don’t dive, there’s only complimentary snorkelling everyday.
