Very enjoyable for just the one night.

Food was good. Room clean and adequate. Dinner was very good. The staff were all excellent.

We had difficulty reaching the hangers in the cupboard as they were so high up. There was no chair in the room so the only place to sit was on the bed.

Exceptional

The rooms are beautiful, very clean and pretty and a unique design layout, in a small courtyard. I liked the filter coffee, rather than nasty instant sachets and the mini biscuits were excellent quality. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well (not usually the case in hotels) The restaurant and court yard were beautifully finished, the whole place is really very classy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall I'd be pleased to stay there again and found it great value.

Take away breakfast- very good and useful for me

Thin walls- difficult to sleep when people next door 'having fun' at 2.00am! Bar food was OK but not great but maybe it was just what I chose

A gem of a place to stay, can’t recommend it highly enough!

The attention to detail with everything, the great staff who all made us feel like they really wanted us to enjoy our stay, really comfortable rooms, beautiful outlook, great food, we will definitely be back!

Warm and welcoming.

Everything. The welcome was lovely , All the staff were super friendly our room was comfy warm and had all we needed . Plenty of parking and the grounds are well looked after . The location is rural and very scenic. The food was excellent quality , well cooked , well presented and very tasty . Cannot fault a thing . Even the music was spot on. We will be back.

Lovely stay

Breakfast was very nice.

Walls are a little thin so you can hear guests in the next room talking. The doors to the rooms next to you are noisy. when being opened and closed.

stayed before and really liked it but on this occasion the room wasn’t very private so disappointed

Location , staff very welcoming and friendly and ease of parking plus clean comfy room.

Thin walls - could hear people clearly in next room. Our room had a blind and kept it closed most of the time as people drinking outside or going to and from car park could clearly see in so no real privacy.

The rooms are lovely, the food is very nice and the staff are so helpful

I have stayed here several times in several didn’t rooms the seals around the baths / showers need a good scrub black mould on them in nearly all of the rooms, the bathrooms could do with some maintenance rotten wood around sinks.

Very tiring, Unable to Relax, Unable to Sleep.

Nice Location and Restaurant

Very noisy, shouting, doors banging, walls paper thin you could hear next door. Booking staff entered incorrect expiry date on card, attempted second time; card was then blocked by bank. Mentioned on arrival incorrect details had been entered, obnoxious response it wasn't me!! Had travelled for 3 hours, needed to get-up at 4am to visit seriously ill Mother, so in reality needed much rest. Second lady I spoke to was very helpful, exceptionally polite and helpful; she should be training the person on reception.

Rooms modern, stylish, and very clean. Nice restaurant, good food and a good selection of beers. Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with plenty of tea and coffee.

super 2 night stay as always.

have stayed here several times now and as always had a lovely 2 night stay. we stayed in the Orpington room which was very clean and comfortable. lovely meal on the Sunday evening and delicious breakfasts as usual.

only comment is the blinds in bathroom are very thin and as we were facing outdoor area and dark earlier now as autumn worried people may see in.

Enjoyable as expected

The breakfast was excellent with good choices and attentive staff, we booked a 2 nights stay and went one day golfing at Carden Park which was just down the road.

Noticed there was less toiletries in the bathroom to when we stayed last year and unfortunately a few stains on the carpet.
