Location was excellent and staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Rooms were rather dark even with the lights on. Lack of power points was frustrating.

Cairns in wonderful. Recommend the road trip to Port Douglas, beautiful scenery.

Location was great and very close to everything. Bed was comfort so the basics were OK.

No Wifi and they shouldn't advertise that they have it. There was a note in the room that said Wifi only worked outside. It didn't work at all. I ask at reception and they conceded that their internet was terrible. Also asked about parking and the reception said she didn't know because she doesn't drive to work. With respect, I wasn't asking to find out how she got to work. We worked that out by parking in other streets, the parking out front was often monopolised by a budget car rental business next door. Unfortunately it was an issue. Ceiling fan didn't work in lounge room. Lounge room was a little smelly. I like the location but won't be staying again for these reasons.

Just don’t

The only good thing about this accommodation is the location

Bedding was dirty - hair on sheets. Called to ask for bedding to be changed and was told there was no one available to do so until the morning. Kids screaming echo’s through entire complex. Old and dingy room. Paint peeling. Ants in bench. Towels a tinge of yellow. Left a day early feeling itchy and gross.

Really close to Centre of cairns and the beautiful esplanade/ promenade. Owned by a family who took really good care of us when an issue came up with some other loud guests

Great spot, close to town. Roo bar is open and great meals.

It's close to the action in town, great help from the people who are operating this place. Good value for money spent...

Bathroom is a bit small and needs updating.

Good location and affordable apartments

We spent the weekend in Cairns because we had a wedding. The staff were helpful. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Affordable and convenient stay

Its really close to the city centre. The apartment looked exactly the same as in the pictures. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and kind.

Great stay and location! Staff were awesome

The hotel is really close to the main street, bars and restaurants. Just 5 minutes walk Beds were really comfy and the room was spacious.

ideal location, close to town, CHEAP

booked 5 rooms for 21 people, no air con, no room servicing, no clean towels or fresh linen given, all power points gave electric shocks, all showers have black mould, room 8 flooded from bathroom to bedroom, all bottom floor rooms had poor drainage in showers so standing in puddles of water, bedbugs in room 203 as all boys that slept in there had hives 3 days in. reception lady Maria was lovely, and the pool was nice other than that it was a pretty rough stay.

Not what we expected, even at the reasonable price we would expect better (or at least clean)

The location is perfect for the city. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and public transport.

The apartment was advertised as 2 bedrooms, however there were no doors and you had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the second. The kitchenette was poorly stocked with only the basics. not enough to cook a meal with but ok for breakfast (toaster) The apartment was old and not cleaned well. the hand rail in the bathroom was falling off, the inside of the cupboards were dirty and there were cracks/serious wear to all fitted items such as taps, mirrors, cupboards, wardrobes and tiles.

Disappointing stay

Central location

One toilet for an eight person accommodation. Toilet didn't have a lock. Water broke in a room upstairs and wet our suitcases.

Nothing, it didn’t look like the photos on booking.com.

No table and chairs to sit at. Stained sheets. air conditioning that old didn’t work properly.

regardless of things lacking, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Central to everything. I’d stay there again.

Location. staff response to action queries.

The room didn’t have its own iron and ironing board in it. only had a 2 seater lounge and no table/chairs for meals. aircon was only in the bedroom.
