The accommodation was fabulous, staff wonderful and breakfast divine.
We had a room facing the road which was very noisy.

The breakfast was wonderful; ordered the evening before, fresh fruit, great granola and everything else cooked to order. Super lady serving juice, coffee etc with a cheery, morning smile. Location also superb with a short riverside walk into Ross-on-Wye and a breathtaking view from the welcoming garden.
The honesty bar is a most excellent facility which we used before retiring to the garden and view, but we did feel price for a glass of wine was too steep.

The hotel is tastefully decorated with a lovely area to relax and have a drink. There is also a beautiful garden with a superb view of the river Wye, countryside, and the church in Ross on Wye.
The breakfast was high quality set in an exquisite dining room, and the hosts were very friendly, attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.
Good off the road parking at the rear of the property.
Everything was just perfect. There was nothing to criticise. We will stay there again on our next visit.
The hotel is next to a road, but we did not find it too busy. The room had triple glazing so it blocked out road noise.
There is a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the town where the restaurants are located, but there is a pub close by that sells food.

The breakfasts were amazing with a good selection to choose from. There was a choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad and full cooked breakfasts. Options of tea, coffee and fruit juices. This was cooked especially for you as you were requested to select what you would like the evening before and to say what time you wanted to dine. This was an excellent system and worked really well. There was no problem if you wanted to change your mind in the morning either. There was plenty to eat as the portions were ample.
The only thing I would say was that our room overlooked a busy road and so it was a little noisy but the traffic calmed completely at night. As it was mild weather we had the window open at night, with window closed the traffic noise was ok.

Great views and location
Personal preference but I didn’t like the mattress, my other half had no issues though.

There is nothing we didn't like.

The breakfast was amazing, I have never tasted scrambled egg like it before. There was a great choice and they even do Smoked Salmon and scrambled egg, all cooked fresh. You place your order the night before and advise what time you would like it. The breakfast room has fabulous views of the River Wye and is very light and airy.
I can honestly say there is nothing that they could do to make it better.

Fantastic location and dog friendly. Was good that we were left to our own devices yet staff were still there on hand if needed. Breakfast each morning was lovely.
Rooms were a little warm and road outside made it hard to keep the window open.
