While the bathroom needs some upgrading work, the staff made our stay a very pleasant one. Special rose petals design on the bed was done for my husband on his birthday, also presented him with a lovely cake and birthday song. Much appreciated!
The lobby was not so welcoming. Dim lighting and counter so high we can't see the staff

quiet location but accessible to everything

The place has a super cute garden with a swimming pool and another one just for decoration. The atmosphere of the garden is truly wonderful! It was also super close to the monkey sanctuary and the main shopping street of Ubud yet the place itself was relaxing and quiet.
Furnitures and the room in general was old (like 1970’ old). But everything was working and they cleaned the room daily.

The pool was lovely, the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful especially Agung.
Steps to rooms need to have non slip materials on them.

Nice gardens, we saw a couple little frogs and a monkey occasionally near the pool or lobby area. The staff are very nice and hospitable.
It’s a very small lobby/restaurant which makes for a very intimate breakfast. We were the only guests who had breakfast included and felt a little uncomfortable at times.

The location ist perfect, quiet and near by many nice restaurants. The garden of the property is amazingly beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately there were ants everywhere in the room. I was staying on the top floor and didn’t leave any food outside, always closed the door to the terrace but didn’t help. The bed linen was stained. Wouldn’t recommend to eat at the Hotel, there are much better options right around the corner.

What I liked the most about the property was the staff, the accommodations and the peaceful, tranquil settings. Convenient walking distance to the monkey forest, and many shops and restaurants were very easy. The American breakfast was more than adequate, with scrambled eggs, vegetable stirfry, bacon, fresh fruit plate, and sausage, toast, and good coffee.

The street where the hotel is located is very nice. Very green, not so much Trafic as the mainstreets and still many nice shops and restaurants.
Next to Monkey Forest, but a bit of walking to the center.
Kind staff.
Beautiful garden.
The bathrooms were worn out, to the limit of disgusting.
Lighting in the room was horrible.
So the atmosphere in the room and entrance area was not really nice in my opinion, but the garden and the terraces were nice.
The pool was clean and the area was ok nice, but not quite the Paradise, which is shown on the pictures.
The hotel has great potential, but needs some freshing up here and there :)

I don't like anything there worst experience i ever had.
The food was totally worst lots of ants inside the food totally worth less.

Spacious room, good facilities, nice pool & garden view. Short walk away from town centre.
Crickets can be a little noisy in the night time for light sleepers. There were also ants crawling around my table towards the end of my stay.

Hidden in the lush gardens of a quiet street in a lovely neighbourhood, great newer rooms (the simple ones are traditional and cute) and deluxe are comfortable and luxurious, this is a very good value money option for Ubud.

Great location, lots of restaurants and shops right on the door step. Very quiet and no road noise in the evenings
Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

Genuinely a beautiful property with the most spacious rooms in Bali. The bathroom and bedroom were both clean and beautifully made.
Right up from the property is a cafe called Black Sheep. My partner and I ate there everyday we were in Ubud because they have fantastic food and a clean, good vibes space.
Wonderful accommodation option to be close to Monkey Forest and local warungs

I have been staying here for three weeks as a solo traveler while I was visiting around the island. The area in my opinion is the best of Ubud, where I could easily walk to the busy streets, to any cafè for meals just next door, out for a stroll or even just get to the co-working place nearby. My room was lovely, cleaned every day, with a peaceful setup immerse in the garden (always had the cutest small frogs on my patio at night). The pool and the garden are very relaxing, and the staff makes you feel at home! I totally recommend this place if you want a more authentic setup rather than a fancy hotel.

Everything ❤️ The staff was amazing, the room was clean and and had a very beautiful view :)

An absolutely lovely place in the direct neighborhood of the monkey forest. On rainy days the monkeys even visited us looking for food, and they're very friendly and peaceful. We loved the copious breakfast with fresh frangipani on the tables, and the beautiful refreshing pool. Staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. We loved the geckos and the huge lizard visiting our balcony at night. All is peaceful and quiet, while the hotel itself is at an excellent location. Ubud center is 2 minutes away through the monkey forest with all the cute monkeys around. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!
Water pressure was very low, made it hard and lengthy to shower. On rainy days, we had to walk through some big puddles impossible to get around. The blanket and towels were clean although stained. Little inconveniences we could overlook.

We loved our stay at Garden View. The pool was amazing, the room spacious and the hotel personnel very accommodating. They cleaned the room every day and it is super cute how they would greet us when we were back home, as well as offering mosquito repellent in case you were staying late in the lobby to call someone. Also there are some really good restaurants along the street (the pizza from Black Sheep is the best) and it’s super close to monkey forest.
The Wi-Fi was not great in the room but it worked well in the lobby and sometimes the quilt over the bed sheet had some staines.

The location is really nice, quiet area beside Monkey Forest
The breakfast is good, with lots of choices
Some of the rooms are really old and looks dirty, other rooms are nice.
We were a group of 3 rooms and one of us find his room quiet old and little bit dirty, but the nice staff immediately change the room for us, in a more nice room
