Managers ignore complaints
The air conditioning unit did not work, it rattled, crackled and turned itself off repeatedly keeping us awake all night. Electrical fault suspected, reported to management. The manager did not get back to us. Tried to report the issue again to the regional manager. Neither managers got back to us. Still waiting.........maybe be best to report this issue to Booking com and put in a direct complaint.

A good stop to sleep in the middle of a suburb
The room had clean sheets, bathroom and furniture. It had good internet, a TV, good lighting, a desk to work if needed. A small fridge, a kettle and some plates and cutlery. The receptionist was professional and respectful, especially as he had to provide an additional fee which I had not been informed of at the time of the reservation via Booking.com.
The carpet had dark stains, specially bear the door. It just didn't give the room a good look. The blinds had some hooks missing which was tricky to ensure privacy, as the blind didn't run to the end of the rail. The most disappointing thing was that Booking.com did not advertise the room with the additional pet fee of $60. So when I booked it and drove all the way to the hotel I was informed of this fee at reception. We had been driving for over 7 hrs and were absolutely exhausted. All other properties we could have booked with were at least 30 to 45min away further. So we had no other choice but to pay the fee. As our fatigue could have endangered us by being on the road and in a city we've never been. The pet fee was absolutely ridiculous, considering my dog is 16 y/o. Has her own bedding and barely moved. So there was no cleaning involved. But the biggest problem with this was the huge failure from Booking.com to inform us of the fee. Had we known of the fee we wouldn't have booked it. And we probably would have gone to another place which we had found as we got closer to Canberra. Instead we drove to the city thinking it would be best. The recptionis at Ibis said Booking.com should have had the fee on the booking but I assured and showed him this was not the case. I stayed at 5 different places during this trip and avoided using Booking.com and the one time I used it it was a total disappointment.

I would come back because we enjoyed it previously but for the cost we didn’t really enjoy our stay.
We didn’t have breakfast. It’s a great location. Beds comfy. Love the trees.
We have stayed before and liked the rooms. We had a room downstairs in the corner. We didn’t like having no window as the others do facing the carpark. It felt cramped and dark in there. Also we had people getting up and leaving at 5am who shouted for at least half an hour also other people close by having loud arguments during the day and night. It was quite uncomfortable. I am just surprised that the family who left soon after 5am were not considerate or aware that other people would be disturbed by their very loud talking that went on a very long time.
