Brilliant hosts with good breakfast

Very clean place. Lovely staff/ family run B&B everyone very friendly and couldn’t be helpful enough. Very quiet and calm. Room was great and clean. Comfortable bed. Great location as well, very close to the harbour and town centre

Slightly outdated decor in the room but it was super clean and comfortable.

Cosy place in central location with sweet staff.

Very clean and tidy. Pleasant staff. Breakfast good. Was handed refund for overpaying on carparking, which we were oblivious to, so this was very honest of them.

Wasnt keen on being on the 2nd floor as it was already a climb up stairs to get to hotel, on top of a hill climb. As we were in room on front, traffic from road kept us awake.

Exceptional

Clean and tidy . The bed was really comfortable.A five minute walk to the harbour . The lady who owns the b&b couldn’t do enough for us she was so lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

Lena was lovely through out.... Very friendly and attentive nothing was to much trouble.. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. Bed was comfortable we choose the four poster bed something you do not see very often.

The steps and path leading up to the front door could do with some better lighting on these dark nights.

Very good

Loved the room, location near town, buses up to the hotel, the owner was very helpful and caring. Loved torquay, the other seaside towns and the beaches.

The town had too many hills a killer to your thighs.

room was a small double it should be a single at most very clostofobic small window no air shower very small toilet couldnt sit down to small hotel needs update no free parking ground a disgrace it wasnt value furniture dated poor quality

Clean, comfortable and welcoming, would gladly stay again

Room was a little dated but clean, comfortable and well-appointed with everything needed for my stay. Lena (the owner/manager) was lovely. Given the location (just a few minutes walk from Torquay harbour front) the property offers good value for money and is a great base for exploring the local area.

Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return when we are next staying in the area.

My wife and I spent 3 enjoyable nights here to celebrate her Birthday. Lena was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was a shame that due to illness, Breakfast could not be served but Lena ensured we were reimbursed with enough to enjoy Breakfasts in town. I stayed here many many years ago and it has retained all of it's charm. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return when we are next staying in the area.

Good location, clean room, friendly helpful welcome.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and well appointed.

Was not a problem for me but travellers with mobility issues might find the stairs and access a bit of a challenge. Website did not make it crystal clear that this 'bed and breakfast' does not serve breakfast. Old reviews give the impression that one can 'opt I'm to breakfast.

Loved my stay.

Lena is a fabulous lady. She helped me feel so welcome and gave me good advice about the hotel and the surrounds.

My room was clean and comfy. I just wished it was a little bigger.

Beautiful place

Very nice landlady,we felt really welcome:) Cozy room,beautiful view by the window,all facilities. Just 5 min walk to town centre. It would be pleasure to come back.

Happy, cosy, friendly stay.

Friendly welcome. Lovely room decorated thoughtfully with exotic artwork from Thailand (I think), Super location for exploring Torquay and wider Devon.

Loading bags slightly difficult due to the hilly location(not the proprieter's fault at all, in fact she help carry down our bags) however great that we had use of the nearby carpark as part of the deal.

Our stay at The Palms Guest House was so lovely. We couldn’t fault anything! It was so close to the Torquay Harbour which was very ideal. Lena the head woman, was an absolute lady. She couldn’t have been any more helpful than what she was. Will definitely be returning again at some point.
