The breakfast was great as was the location. We had to move from another villa so we arrived late and they were so helpful.
I didn’t like how dark the rooms were, not bright enough lighting or even enough lights.
4.3
The pool and gardens are beautiful. It is well maintained for the age of the property. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
The power went out 3 times in one day. We booked a 3 bedroom Villa but did not know that it would be two separate villas. Did not feel safe with our 16yo daughter in separate villa. Lighting is a bit dim, felt gloomy. Drilling and hammering next door. Lobby was a bit messy and leaking roof in the rain.

Nothing special, But good.
The hotel doesn't have fitnes center, so, we don't have chance to make a gym. You inform the guests, that the fitnes center is in the property.👎👎 That is not true, so I expect, you will give me some money back. But really money, not discount at the next reservation.

The villa was new and clean.
Staff serviced room daily.
Central location.
Staff were lovely.
The Villa we booked and paid for via booking.com was later given to someone else and upon arrival we were relocated to one of the new Villa’s which was great until we were told it was at a different location and not at the resort. We originally booked a different Villa about 2kms out but cancelled and choose this resort based on its location and facilities as per the information provided on booking.com. The entire stay we did not have access to any of the resort facilities or the resort. For example, the yoga and fitness centre does not exist and half of the room appliances/items were not provided.
During our stay we also experienced a lot of noise during the day and night. They are currently renovating/building an admin area directly in front of the new villa’s and the noise from the water and Airconditioning wakes you up at night.
I also found the staff would frequent the Villa too often. I was sleeping and woke up to one of them in the back yard looking to see if we were home and another time I had gotten out of the shower, walked into the bedroom naked and one of them was were there again.
They enter via the back yard anytime, which I was uncomfortable with. This is meant to be a private Villa.

Great location. Great accommodation!

The staff were friendly and accommodating
The quality for the price was not there. The mattress could not be slept on, not enough hot water to fill the tub even 1/4, the kitchen sink handle fell off, the breakfast wasn't great, and the wifi went in and out. After we arrived we tried to leave but we're not allowed to unless we paid for 1/2 the remaining time.

The pool in our 2 bed villa was great after busy days
Breakfast in our villa served by the staff to order was lovely
Location is so central, yet you cannot hear any noise from the main Street.
There is no gym despite this being included in the facilities. Also this is not a yoga place.
One of our toilets did not flush first time and the Wifi was extremely patchy even after it was rebooted.
4.3
Pool in two bedroom villa was awesome and outside dining great… rooms are lovely and large with great bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Walking distance to town is about 10 mins and they organised a great driver for the day.
Breakfast served in villa was ok, a more varied range would be good.

The Baruna Sari villa was everything we could have asked for and more. A little Oasis just far enough off the main Ubud road so you cannot hear the traffic but close enough to walk to central Ubud in less than 10 minutes. It was our own little sanctuary for my wife and I and our 2 year old. The staff were excellent. Very attentive, polite and good natured. They always had time to say hello to us and our toddler. The villa was kept very clean with a turndown service in the evening. The laundry service was excellent too. A bag of laundry dropped off in the evening was washed and dried by the next afternoon. We highly recommend this as a destination in Ubud.
Thank you Baruna Sari Staff for a very enjoyable stay. 😀
No complaints. 😊

We liked that we got to stay in their new villa that has only opened recently. The bed was comfortable and it had a good sized fridge (Not one of those mini bar fridges) only about 6 minutes walk to central Ubud so not too far from restaurants. The street where our villa was is quiet and well back off the road.
Currently they are building additional villas beside where we stayed, but it was not noisy and did not bother us.
The breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of menu.
The staff are all excellent and made us feel very welcome.
You can order dinner via the reception if you want to stay in.
A very good supply of fresh drinking water on hand.
Plenty of towels and hand clothes replaced every day with extra ones for the pool.
I would recommend staying here.
Being new there were a few minor issues.
1 they have a bathroom basin with a mirror but very poor lighting and no soap dish.
The only place to have breakfast is outside on the patio which is open to the weather. When it rains in the morning there is no cover while you eat.
The patio step from the bedroom to the patio is for the young and healthy. It needs 2 to 3 steps instead of just the one very high step up. For some you need to be careful after rain as the patio can be slippery.
No beer or wine glasses.
No doubt a lot of things can be easily fixed as the owners work through the needs of the villas. The one thing all you have to do is ask the staff and they will ALWAYS help where they can.

So, our villa was more beautiful then the pictures presented on booking. I was expected a smaller place, but the room was very nice, pool was amazing, space was clean also the pool, and the stuff was very helpful and on time all the time.
I mean i do not find a thing that i didn t liked, because i was expecting less. Because of the pictures and other reviews.

About a 5-8 minute walk to everything around Ubud and close to the Monkey Forest!
It was private and super spacious with a private pool and patio. We celebrated our honeymoon here! Very pleasant. The staff was soooo friendly and welcoming and took care of all our needs!
Candles or bug spray to prevent gnats/ants from entering. We purchased our own and it was fine.
4.3
The villa was beautiful and though just about 50 meters away from a busy road, it was very quiet and filled with sounds of bird calls. It was a relaxing place. The pool was the highlight for us. Having a private pool made a big difference. The people were very considerate. Kadek and his team were always there promptly when we needed them. The property is located in a great location with quick access to a variety of cuisines.
Breakfast options were limited. Also, the quantity is limited. This is an area that could improve.
4.3
The place was an amazing find. The daily breakfast is brought to your room and was so yummy. The turn down service in the evening was a lovely touch. The staff are beautiful, so friendly and nothing you ask them is true much trouble!
Within walking distance to many eateries and shops, including the Ubud markets.
That we had to leave!😊

We loved their service!

A freshly renovated villa property. Spacious cottages.
The check-in was not smooth. The day of our arrival there was an inauguration of our villa with a religious service; while we understand the importance of the religious rites in Bali, we did not appreciate that it was held post our official check-in time and we literally had to wait at the reception area for about 40 minutes until it was over, despite us feeling very tired after the road. We accepted their apologies but still felt that our comfort was not of importance.
The worst however was that the water in the pool was not transparent but somewhat foggy which did not inspire swimming in it and we only used it one time. What a pity, considering that we booked because of the private pool.
The breakfast service was incredibly long - they first brought us food and then we waited for coffee for 30 minutes. It took them several hours to pick up plates with leftovers afterwards which is not ok when it's in the garden - with insects and birds.
The kitchen only had very basic utensils.
The garden lacked greenery and charm.

Very spacious and stunning pool
Inconsistent staff assistance.
4.3
Short distance walk to Ubud Center. Very peaceful and quite place. Very good for relaxing.
4.3
Beautiful property. Loved having breakfast delivered to us. We also loved having our own pool right outside our door. It was nice to be secluded! Everyone was so kind and very accommodating! A great find!
4.3
Family villa with pool was excellent. Neat and clean. Staff was very courteous. Very near to market. The only drawback about the resort is that there is no in-house restaurant and there are not much options in breakfast. Other wise property is good.
4.3
The staff were very friendly, everytime in the morning they came with a big smile to serve the breakfast. The room is big with a nice *garden* and kitchen to chill. Breakfast is good! It is very central located in the centre of ubud. You can walk with 5 minutes to the ubud market and some nice restaurants. It is not noisy at all.
On booking.com it says that there is a public swimming pool and a gym. That was not the case. No gym and the pool was available when there was no guest at the villa. The staff was so friendly to open the villa so that we can use the pool.
4.3
Breakfast great. Location perfect.
4.3
great hospitality, cleanliness.
4.3
Staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful.
Location to Ubud centre very handy, and still the villas very quiet and relaxing.
Private pool was beautiful!
Breakfast was filling, the banana pancakes are a must try.
The property is a little old and it’s showing, needs some renovating.
The towels had a bad musty odour, that was probably the worst part of our stay.
4.3
This property is the most incredible place to stay! the photos are exactly how the villa looks. The staff are so kind and caring. The location is perfect as it’s down a little street away from the traffic but a 2 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. I would recommend this place 100%!!!
4.3
the staff were great! they did everything to make us comfortable and location was close to center.
we’ve got the villa with bathtub and it was very close to the reception. no privacy at all! don’t recommend to couples. the bathtub wasn’t clean either.

Clean and beautiful
everything was great

Location in the Ubud center, behaviour of the staffs, decent wifi speed
Booked the villa seeing photos online, but it wasn't what we expected. There was no privacy. We got the room near reception. Jacuzzi was very close to the door. Breakfast was also ok. I paid the similar price for another 5 star property in Ubud which was way greater than this
4.3
the staff were very nice, friendly and understanding. they helped us to heat up our takeaway food.
our Villa was on the first floor with an outdoors area. so there was 1 cockroach and 1 millipede in the bathroom
4.3
The entrance of the villa is most attractive.
The staff is very helpful - offered private car at discounted price. Kadek is very humble people and will go extra mile to accommodate the guests needs.
4.3
the staff helping nature and the location
it's too dark in the room and very bad quality soap and bathroom toiletries
4.3
We stayed in the pool villa at first, which was beautiful and in a very natural setting. The breakfast was great. Kadek was particularly helpful and kind throughout our entire stay - he made a real difference to our trip! Both the pool villa and the hot tub villa were very spacious.
My wife and are afraid of lizards/geckos. If they're outside then we can manage this fear but if they're inside then we struggle more. Unfortunately, in both villas there were some small geckos on the ceiling and down the wall. In the pool villa's bathroom, there was a very large (around 30cm long) tokay gecko. For most people, this wouldn't be a problem as the geckos keep insects away, but we wanted to share this in case anyone else has this fear too! The staff were very understanding about our fear and helped us as much as they could.
