We loved the views from the property of the volcano. It was nice having a restaurant on site.
This hotel is far away from everything. Also, if you think it is close to the lake, it really isn’t. the rooms were okay, not great. Parking was less than ideal as well.

Beautiful view of volcano and lake. Comfortable room and beds. Delicious breakfast.
Lots of little ants.
1.5
The views of the Arenal Volcano. Breakfast was quite tasty but the quantity of food was limited.
Where should I start? When we entered our room, it was full of dead bugs and our sheets were really smelling very badly. The room was very far and up a number of stairs but no help was offered with our bags. When we asked for our sheets to be replaced the next day, they agreed to do it but when we arrived in the evening they weren't changed but the housekeeping lady claimed that they had been! There was nowhere to put our clothes in the rooms so you are forced to live out of your suitcase. There was a very bad smell in the toilets.

The view from all hotel rooms is great! The rooms are big and pretty.
The receptionist/manager of the hotel doesn’t speak English. Also, from 2 days we spent at the hotel, half a day the wifi did not work. Also, hot water in the shower only worked if you were lucky (however we had this issue with multiple hotels in Costa Rica so this seems to be a general issue).

The rooms and the view. The quietness and sorroundings are beautiful
The restaurant and its service and menu. Totally deceitful. it is better to eat outside.

beautiful views
credit card machine didn’t work after a certain time, room was very minimalist, no towels or wash clothes in the bathroom, very “rustic” in general…

Amazing rooms, super comfy beds, and an unbeatable view to wale up to!
The restaurant menu could have more local options.

nice staff and facilities also good price
the parking should be closer to the rooms, you need to walk a lot in order to reach your car.

The Hotel is a good choice if you travel by car, bus shuttle to LA Fortuna is also available. Marvelous views of lake and volcano, spacious and comfortable rooms. Very quiet area. Great location for nature lovers and bird watchers. The breakfast was very good, the fish for dinner was fresh from the lake and prepared deliciously. If you don't mind that the last renovation has been some years ago, this hotel is a very good choice.

Location is quiet and remote, which is great when on holiday! Just 6km to the entrance of Arenal Volcano Natural Park or Arenal 1968. Good standard food. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Amazing views!
The place is quite rundown, although things do work. Would benefit from a good refresh! Towels and tablecloths should be changed once worn out.
