Relaxed. Good service. Nice room (excellent bathroom). Reasonably priced bar. Lovely gardens.
Corridors were just too dark. This made opening my room door so tricky.
For a dog friendly hotel I'd have liked a poo bin. There was an ash tray bin outside the lobby but was it ok to also use as a dog poop bin? We weren't sure.

The whole experience was so relaxing. The views and garden were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and told us the history of the house. The afternoon tea was superb so much food and lots of choice. Breakfast was lovely. There was a lovely log fire burning in the lounge which made it cosy.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Suited us very well.

Beautiful views and the staff were so friendly and accommodating with all my requests.
A bit out of town so needed taxis in the evening if good out .

Beautiful historic house, tastefully decorated rooms, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! amazing breakfasts and very good restaurant dinners. Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely lounge with wood burner. Lovely view from our balcony.
It would have been nice to have more pictures/art on the walls in the bedroom. The bathroom was a little small with no bath, and the shower tray seemed a bit flimsy. We visited the town in Lampeter briefly but it is very run down.

Excellent staff made us very welcome.
Lovely location.
Nice room - good size
Our dog enjoyed lots of fuss and care which was so kind and nice - thank you
A tiny bit chilly in our room and bathroom

The hotel is set in a beautiful surrounding area. There is ample on site parking, although the lanes to get to it are windy and we managed to arrive as the refuse collections were taking place. The staff were very courteous staff. Our bed was comfortable and the room pretty well looked after.
Was quite nice to have a selection of reading materials available to relax and read.
We had a long wait at reception for someone to come to book us in, there were other people waiting as well. However staff were courteous and apologetic.
Lift we really old and frequently would not work unless you jumped up and down to reset it - which did not help my husbands phobia of lifts, plus we are both disabled so would not have been able to access our room if it had broken down completely.
Breakfast was okay but small, not much choice is your vegan, adequate if you are vegetarian.
To be honest, I was eexpecting better and have paid less for better quality. It was nice for a one off but I don't think we will book again.

Breakfast was excellent.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Great location.
Water pressure for the shower was so low we needed to be virtually point blank to the shower head

The staff were very friendly, and worked hard. The meals were very well presented, and were all delicious.
On a rainy day there isn't so much to do, but you have to make your own entertainment.

Beautiful hotel. Stunning views of the garden and valley from our balcony - room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our breakfast on both mornings were delicious.
Shower pressure was poor.

location, convenient, able to charge our electric car. breakfast was good.
rooms a bit dated food rather pricey and overcharged on our bill

Beautiful location, very clean, professional and friendly staff, good food.
Hot water tap was not working properly. Shower had no instructions on how to use, which way was hot/cold and was not a strong flow of water spent more time trying to get temp correct, then took ages to wash hair due to slow flow of water. Good size breakfast on first morning, but we did notice the potion sizes reduced as the hotel got busier.

Breakfast in the conservatory with a sausage for the dog.
The room was classy and beautifully furnished, but with a modern twist.
Dinner was delicious.
Plenty of space for parking.
Staff very efficient and pleasant.
That we had to leave the beautiful hotel with magnificent views from our bedroom.
A very small complaint was that the bin bags in the bedroom bins were not as substantial as expected to hold rubbish.
4.5
The welcome was lovely. The staff team were all pleasant. Great food choices.
We had a dog and he was welcome too, they even provided a treat pack , bed and bowls.
Lovely grounds to walk in. Falcons flying by. Lampeter just a short drive away.
