Full kitchenette and many dining table.
Room is too small. Didn’t have space to open both our backpacks

we got locked out and there was no emergency number available

My wife was feeling sick and we found this place just outside the hot spring parking. Good price, easy check-in, good bath, comfortable bed, clean sheets and a very nice and equipped kitchen in the second floor. Best cost/benefit in the Southern Iceland.
Bath area is too small, but the water power is great.

petite guest house très correct

nice common room area
bad sound proofing, you could hear the tv of the neighbours and whenever someone was walking in the common room. If was not super clean either

The location is convenient. The kitchen is very well equipped.
The rooms were super small.

The pool table in the loft and complimentary tea and coffee was nice.
It was more like a hostel than a hotel. There was no reception. The room was small and basic. The pool table was damaged and the lamps in the loft had light bulbs missing.

beds were decent and free coffee
did not like the staff at all. upon arrival I told them my booking details, I had a total of 4 rooms for 7 of us and they tried to fit us into 3 double rooms even though I paid for more and one of them was a triple room too. basically they wanted seven people to sleep in 3 double rooms which means one of us would have to sleep on the floor. no logic what so ever and super rude. the person working there said there were no other rooms available and after discussion he pulled the keys from his pocket and opened a door to our other room which was a triple room. after he laughed at us, really disrespectful. he also told us there is breakfast in the morning which when we turned up there was nothing there. not sure why he would tell us there’s breakfast regardless of the booking saying no breakfast included. literally a joke of a place and don’t recommend anyone staying.

Liked how easy it was to get to/from. The view was lovely.
The room was cramped for two people with roller bags.

Good location while driving the Golden Circle. Everything was clean and quiet.
There was no staff on site and you had to call for your room number and code. I had to keep calling and calling before someone answered. They should send the information in advance or find another way to get people access to their room when they arrive.

Amazing location, very close to popular south coast attractions.

The property is very well located.
Isolation can be improved as it is a building where facilities are on first floor and there was a group staying on the first njoight who woke up super early and were pretty noisy.
The phone to check in is really unecessary, sending message on booking app with code shall do it, and even better, make sure we get the right code marked down.

like the shared kitchen and the living room.
always hot water and coffee ready
the room and the toilet is a bit too small

beautiful location
it was a little hard to find and a little pricy because we had three kids we had to buy three rooms. wish there were some triple rooms as options.

the bathroom had a very bad smell. ultra small rooms, you can’t literally open your baggage. i was travelling with 2 elderly people and it would have been good to know that there was a practically vertical staircase to reach the kitchen. Spiders all around the property, you cannot open the Windows. on top of that, i asked the owner, through the Booking chat, some information on where to Eat, never had a reply. all of this for “just” 200€ per room…

great location close to major attractions

The location is good. That's it
The only disappointing place we stayed at in Iceland (we were there for 11 days and used 8 different accommodations, from AirBnBs to hostels, hotels and travel services). Both our rooms were dirty, with dead insects everywhere. The building itself is super noisy, you can hear people walking pretty much anywhere in the building. It's a self check-in (which is fine) but meant that we had no chance of changing rooms. This was also the most expensive place we stayed in, by far. The impression you get is that the owners know it's hard to get accommodation in this part of Iceland, so they will charge you a lot for very little.

The area and view were fantastic.
The drainage smell especially in one of the rooms. It was not the usual smell of sulphur but drainage. Also compared to other accommodation we have all over Iceland this was the most expensive

Wonderful place! We loved the nature around our guests house. Room was with mountain view,so we were enjoying breathtaking outdoor scenery. Room was clean, the housekeeping was available every day ( change the sheets, towels, etc). Very sweet and caring ladies do perfect cleaning job! They always available on the site next to the guest house if anything is needed. In the second flor there is fully equipped kitchen, tea and coffee. There is a hiking trail to the hot springs which is lovely. Parking is available. The only tricky part was check-in. It is self check-in but you need to call or email property on the day. We would love to come back next time😊

The location was beautiful and the room was nice and clean. It was easy to check in and the view from our room was beautiful.
The kitchen was poorly equipped, lacking both tools and basic things like salt.

Close to the nature swimming pool!
