Beautiful surroundings, well kept. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and prepared to go the extra mile to make sure your stay met all your needs.

The property has a substantial unevenly spaced stepped slope down to accomodation that was challenging and would be difficult for ageing knees and hips.

Wonderful! 100 % recommended if you want to live the slow life!!!

We stayed at Poh Manis for more than 2 weeks in total, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just arriving in Indonesia after 2 months of intense travelling, the peace and quiet of this magical place was just what we needed. That being said, the location is a bit off the beaten track, so you might want to keep in mind. The highlight of Poh Manis for us was the pool overlooking the breathtakingly beautiful surrounding area. Also, each morning the pool was getting a deep clean by the staff, which we appreciated a lot, especially after visiting a few other accommodations with sadly neglected pools. Our home with a garden view had a four poster bed with mosquito ned, an outdoor bathroom with greenery and a lovely veranda from which we could watch the sunrise each morning. All bungalows are built in a traditional yet simple style with coconut wood, which is very charming. They do definitely have their quirks, however nothing to worry about. Poh Manis s run by a small team of locals and they have always been very kind and helped us with all kinds of ventures, organising tours, booking transportation, translating something etc. ...

If we could just make one suggestion for improvement, we would add a little bit more variety and healthy lightness to the breakfast and dinner choices. Probably since we've stayed for such long time, and because we are vegetarian/vegan at some point we craved a little something different. It wasn't a problem for us because luckily there are many good warung in the area (quite a few of them in walking distance), so in the end our tastebuds got perfectly satisfied regardless.

Amazing view and great people

I was staying for 4 days and I loved my stay here! The view is amazing 👏, the service from the people is wonderful, the breakfast is great, overall I could really recommend to stay here

The parts that where a little bit less. The location is further away from the main street, so I really recommend to rent a scooter from the hotel, otherwise it's difficult to come around. Also pay attention that some of the roads are very bad, so if you haven't driven a scooter before, please be very careful. The other thing was that the breakfast starts at 08:00 o clock, so if you have an excursion somewhere, you have to eat your breakfast somewhere else. Or you can contact the people from the hotel and ask them if they can open a little bit earlier with the breakfast for that day. They will do everything to make your stay amazing and keep you happy 😊!

Superb

Room was extraordinary clean! I never saw a room so clean in Asia before POH MANIS!! Fresh flowers on the bed and lavabo. Great view from the swimming pool! Really peaceful and nice garden. Good authentic restaurant and price very attractive...Fresh meals are just slightly long to arrive but nothing bothering since meals were good and fresh. Planning the taxi from Hotel is cheaper than the freelance taxi. Laundry delivered on time. Transfer perfectly organized from our previous hotel in Bali and to the airport on last day. You can trust in John, he will do his best for you. Thank You John! Indeed all the hotel team members are very kind, always doing their best and with sincere smile. A minimarket 280 m from hotel and 4 restaurants quite close (less than 10 minutes walk) in spite of the quietness of the place. Fruit cocktails to try.. On first day, the owner family caught a tuna in the early morning, and offered to all customers of the Hotel to share the cooked fish. We appreciated it.

The best view on Nusa Lembongan

The view! it was incredible. When John heard that it was our honeymoon he upgraded our room to a sea view. Also, because of low season / corona virus, we were the only people staying at the accommodation, which made it feel very exclusive! We loved it. Nothing was too much of a hassle for John, anything we needed, he could do. The breakfast was awesome, the people were so friendly, and the location was tucked away.
