Bien propre.

Really nice, green hotel, amazing beach, I have never seen the most ideal beach and such clean water! We snorkel right at the hotel and saw different fish all the time. The breakfast is pretty plain, but good. Very comfortable place, it was 20 minute walk to Lamai market.
A little bit old, but cause maybe we were in one of the first villas, which were older.

We loved the location on the beach as well as having our own little villa. The beach side restaurant and pool were beautiful and there was good snorkelling straight away on the beach. Breakfast choices were extensive and delicious. The room was very clean and it was very peaceful. The location was good with plenty of places to eat nearby and a little bit away from the Main Street, so quieter. We were able to hire mopeds from the hotel which was really useful and the staff were all very helpful.

Delightful, very cared for and relaxing environment.
Nice quiet part of Lamai beach walk straight out and see lots of fish swimming around the rock which used to have coral.

Beautiful entrance and space where the accommodation is - all the rooms are lovely individual suites which feel pretty high end for the price of the stay. The staff are so fantastic I couldn’t stay enough good things about them, especially those around the restaurant and pool area - so friendly and attentive.
Location of the resort is a little out of town that what we had expected however we did visit during the off season so this is our problem rather than the hotel.

Love the separate villas, lovely clean spacious room and bathroom. The pool was lovely and the restaurant was too.
Nothing. The only thing I would change would be to put a clothes rack outside to dry our swimming clothes.

Great resort with very private "houses", good pool, good size rooms (houses), quality services. You can find some good food shops in near area.
Massage shop on the beach, next door resort.
Location: is in far side of Lamai, maybe 20 min walk to the main area of Lamai beach.
Water in front of resort have rocks.
Breakfast not vary too much in 7 days.
Internet not always reliable.
No complimentary sport facilities (only some snorkeling kit, not kayaking or SUP)
3.5
Big pool. Connection to beach. Clean. Friendly restaurant & pool staff. Big bathroom. Nicely quiet.
24 hours before arrival we were downgraded from the pool suites to a “regular” room, due to an error on their side. (Non-financial) compensation was offered, but the downgrade was non-negotiable. The room we got appointed had a weird buzzing noise, coming from the electrical installation. We reported this, but we were told this was “normal”, and we were suggested that we’re “maybe sensitive to noise”. The service from the reception staff was not up to European standards, and the worst we’ve had during our 20 day trip through Thailand.

Excellent location, quiet beach area with great views.
Breakfast selection is decent,,,the staff very friendly and politely
Bicycle rentals would be a great addition,,,,easy way to visit around the resort and do some shopping

This resort is beautiful in great location. All bungalows are surrounded by magnificent garden full of flowers. Pool is small but nice enough. Restaurant was okay, but nothing great. Breakfast had great selection with changes every day. We had one of the two big bungalows right next to the pool, it has great space and lot of storage space as well.
The staff at reception was very nice and always trying to help, but the staff at restaurant don’t seem very nice and are even a bit annoying. I know they are probably told to do this, but for us it was very unpleasant when the waitress brought us the menu and stood by our table until we told her what we want. The same happened when we paid, she just stood there and waited.
Second unpleasant situation was every morning at breakfast. We barely walked in to the restaurant and they were asking whether we want coffee or tea and poured it right away, which means by the time we finished eating the coffee was cold. And if you refuse either of the drinks, they take the cups away, so you have to ask them for new ones if you change your mind. We would like pouring coffee and tea ourselves and not be asked if we want it several times during breakfast.

Was not the first and not the last time here .... Good as everytime 😎😎😎

The staff was really welcoming and whenever we had a question, they tried their absolute best to provide an answer. Really appreciated the late check-out which worked perfectly with our taxi booking and our flight back home. The hotel is located in a quiet area and this is what we were looking for. You can easily spend a couple of days in this area without having to stress out. A couple of nice restaurants on the beach about 10 minutes from the hotel too. The room was really nice and spacious, nice bathroom too (really convenient after a full day in the sun and swimming in the sea). Breakfast was good and sufficient for us, we always found something to eat for breakfast, either thai style or more western style.
I think that this will be definitely an option I will consider if planning to go back to Samui for a long weekend. So peaceful and relaxing, we just loved it. Taxi transfer is about 20 minutes from the airport (get your tickets from airport to go there, just after picking up your luggage, and book your way back directly from the hotel, all worked brilliantly)
Thank you again to the staff for their great work and their kindness.
The only point I will mention here is the 'booking' system for the deckchairs next to the swimming pool. It should be 'first arrived first served' and not in the way that you put your towel on the deckchair and then go for a long breakfast or a walk on the beach. We are early birds and to be told that we can't use such or such deckchair at 7am when we were looking for a swim and relaxing before breakfast was a bit of a no-no, particularly when the supposedly booked deckchairs were actually used around 9am-10am. Anyway, when we acknowledged this fact, we were just enjoying the heated discussions between customers or between disappointed customers and staff. Maybe something to work on in the future.

beautiful location right on the beach. the surroundings of the hotel are lovely with lots of plants and lovely frog ornaments. close to bars/restaurants. pool area very nice. the bungalows are well equipped and comfortable.
our bungalow was next to the kitchen so was a bit noisy early in the morning. but was relaxing/peaceful other than that.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel with tropical decoration. The restaurant Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The Location was calm and out of the busy area of Lamai Beach. The size of the room was big enough and the most important was that you ll have a separate Villa and you are almost independent of other neighbors.
Everything was perfect but maybe a small point: The cleaning of the room could be better, but in the other hand, it was a tropical place , we should not expect too high.

Beautiful hotel complex with a big tropical garden. Very friendly staff who always helpfully gave us information on open questions. We did laundry nearby (off-site) and were given hangers to hang clothes on. The bartender made us the pina colada cocktail with fresh pineapple and served it right inside. Large, nicely furnished rooms. Fresh towels and water every day. Beach towels additionally available free of charge. Good wifi in the whole area. Uncomplicated and cheap motorcycle rental. We enjoyed the stay at the Rummana Resort a lot and would recommend it anytime.
The rooms were cleaned daily, but not thoroughly.
Especially in the bathroom and the floor, a better cleaning is desirable. But overall, everything was great.

Everything was great. A really lovely place.
It can be quiet at nights, but Lamai food market and bars are just 7 minutes drive away.

I was very Satisfied.

Room was nice, new and good looking. Bed is ok, however it not 5 star matras.
Breakfast is ok for 3-4 star hotel, have natural juice and some Thai Food, as European omelet, sausages, ham, have some fruits, but need add more vegetables and cheese, also should provide normal coffee for free, they offer only Nescafe that not good, other coffee for additional charge.
Have nice and big bathroom.
Have nice seats at the beach, but not a lot, should add more....
Have very nice umbrella in room.
The hotel is too long and too narrow. Distance from Lobby to the see huge and you walk a lot of time ....
We are lucky and leave cloth to beach and restaurant, but to walk at lobby where our cars, 7/11 and some Thai restaurants, takes a lot of time, we usually walk only 1 time ;) Also if you on foot, there are not a lot cafes, and entertainments around, but if you with car or bike easy to find near...
They provide us only with 1 key to room, we asked for second, but they said system work only with 1 key ;) Probably they are economy electricity ;) But it extremely uncomfortable for 2 people , I like morning run, wife like sleep - we have problems with 1 key.
Pool must be bigger for many people almost all seats were busy and no space after 3-4-5 people inside ;)

This little resort was amazing! We stayed in one of their suites with sea view. Our room was stunning and huge with all the facilities we could think of, there is also an amazing rain shower! the staff were all really wonderful and the facilities on site were great too all adding that little bit of extra convenience
Breakfast was average but good for Thai standards- I didn’t mind it but it wasn’t my husbands fave meal of the day. My only complaint was the cleaning service of our room, literally took the cleaning team 5mins only toilet paper was replaced and duvet thrown onto the bed. I did complain with the manager so I’m sure they will sort this out
