Modern bedroom.. Bathroom with power shower. Bed and pillows are so very comfy. Plentiful parking. The professional front desk staff are very helpful. Restaurant next door. Easy access to motorway.
Little confusing to find as actually part of a larger hotel complex.
4.1
Clean, anf friendly.
Food is overpriced. Cleaning staff entered twice before check out time, on both occasions we were getting ready, wife was undressed in the bathroom.
4.1
A clean comfortable room in a convenient location
The shower leaked under the door, as it does every week

Location and room size great.
Unfortunately our shower was broken. Maintenance team were not working until 8am next day so we waited until the morning. When we asked at breakfast about the shower again the staff member said go eat breakfast. We were not approached again by the time we had breakfast so went and asked staff again how are we supposed to shower and wash our 10 month baby. They said they left a message with maintenance but no confirmation. Eventually we were given a room key for another room which we had to use to shower in (whilst it was better than nothing at all) it was hard to navigate with baby stuff and walking down the corridor. Disappointed with this stay.

Upgraded from the Lodge to Aztec Hotel so can't comment on the Lodge but very happy with the upgrade. Loved the coffee machine and milk/water refill bottles. No plastic waste! Also the choice of pillows.
Having to pay to park

glass door on bathroom. challenges with switching on different sets of lights in room.

shower was amazing, comfy bed
having to wait till 3pm to check in
4.1
Very clean and spacious room, powerful shower. Free parking over the weekend. Nice to be able to use the facilities, bar etc at the hotel across the road.
Didn't like the fact that there is a sign telling you to check in at the hotel across the road, to then be told by that hotel to check in at the Black sheep.
It was very dark, carrying bags this was a bit annoying.

Room was quite large.
Left my bose headphones in the room. Was running late for work so didn't realise until on the train home. They were never handed in and not even an apology from the hotel £300 headphines-basically stolen! Needless to say, haven't stayed at the Lodge again and never will.

room looked nice, super comfortable bed and
powerful shower. Trendy cafe/restaurant on site.
some items in the room were unbelievably dusty!
4.1
well located. good hotel with all facilities you need
4.1
Hotel was very well presented and comfortable. We were most impressed with the man on Aztec reception. Didn't get his name but dark hair in his 30's. He went above and beyond for us.
