Situation parfaite mais hotel vieillissant

Le personnel est sympatique surtout a l'accueil. La situation est proche de tout. le pdj est correct.

la fenêtre de la chambre donnait sur une cour de 4m2 et de 15m de haut. il n y avait aucune luminosité en pleine journée. la climatisation sifflait alors qu'elle était éteinte. On m'a dit que c'était l'extracteur d'air de la sdb... la chambre ne correspondait pas du tout aux photos sur booking. j'ai cependant payé le meme prix qu'une belle nouvelle chambre de 17m2. La moindre des choses est de mettre ce genre de chambre à un autre tarif et de prévenir le client. Ce n'est clairement pas un service de 4 étoiles.

A lovely quiet well run hotel with a wonderful renovated bathroom

The staff was very friendly and I very much appreciated the obviously recently renovated bathroom. I could tell that it was upgraded in the not too distant past, and they provided a beautiful rainforest showerhead along with a hand held showerhead, and it was a real luxury taking a shower every night. The hotel I had just come from in Amsterdam left lots to be desired in that department so it was really nice to arrive in at this hotel and have such a wonderful shower experience! Sounds silly, but important to some of us. In addition, the room was quite clean and well-maintained and for the most part the hotel was very quiet even though my room was on the main street. I heard almost nothing. I just wish the towels were a little more plush.

The breakfast selection left a little to be desired, but that’s just me. One or two mornings the scrambled eggs were not warm enough and the fruit salad seemed to come out of a can. But the dining setting is low-key and very pleasant.

Gutes 4 Sterne Haus. Gerne wieder

Sehr gute Betten. Schönes Ambiente. Geräumiges, helles Zimmer mit großen, bodentiefen Schallschutzfenstern. Lage in der Innenstadt. Gutes Frühstück. Im Zimmer Kaffeekapseln und Maschine so wie Wasser.

Dusche hatte sehr geringen Wasserdurchlass. Problematisch ist die schlechte Anbindung der Stadt per ÖPNV an den TGV Bahnhof. Taxi Kosten zum Hotel ca € 20,-

Great location to train/ bus terminals and the old town.

It is 3 min walk to the train station on easy to walk path. I didn’t have breakfast there but the hotel put fresh croissants and lemon water in the lobby for free. Service is efficient.

No complaints except our junior suite has a sizable living room (good!) but no chairs except a love- seat sofa. There should be chairs ( even if they are basic chairs no need luxurious), plus a small coffee table in front of the sofa would be convenient and useful. The room is big but looks empty.

Goede lugging. Zeer grote kamer (103) Rustig aan de achterkant. Goed bed. Goed ontbijt.

Geen stopcontact naast het bed. Geen ijskastje. Hotel ligt een beetje weggestopt achter een leegstaand pand.

Bel endroit, et séjour agréable pour mon fils et moi. Je recommande cet hôtel.

La situation de l’hôtel est parfaite. Au cœur de la ville, avec restau, bars, magasins tout autour. Le parking Jean Jaurès est à 30m de l'entrée de l’hôtel (compter 25€/jour). Nous avons eu la chance de tomber pendant la période d'installation du Luna Park au bord du Rhône, mon fils était ravi. Le petit déjeuner est varié. La décoration de l'hôtel et de la chambre est très jolie, les couleurs sont modernes. Il y a plusieurs petits salons dans l'hôtel, où se poser et lire par exemple. L'hôtel m'a accordé un check out à midi, au lieu de 11h, sans supplément tarifaire, c'était aimable à eux.

La température de la chambre est difficile à régler. Malgré le thermostat poussé au maximum (et un gainable un peu bruyant), la température ambiante était tout juste douce. J'aurais apprécié pouvoir dormir sans avoir à me vêtir de la tête aux pieds.

Lage gleich am Regional Bahnhof, kurz hinter der Stadtmauer, nah zum Zentrum, Bars, Imbisse, Restaurants , Geschäfte an der Straße, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück

Zahnputzbecher fehlten, kein frisch gepresster Orangen -🍊 Saft beim Frühstück , Stühle im Frühstücksraum nicht so bequem, passen nicht zur sonstigen Einrichtung

Aircon’ only just adequate. Room facilities Spartan, trestle table for my suitcase, small table (with nespresso, or equivalent), frame to hang my shirts on with 2/3 selves below. No wardrobe, built in or free standing.

A pleasant hotel halfway between nightlife and the train station

The room had windows tat gave on a narrow street in front of what looked like a museum. Early in the morning there was the roar od pellets or what not being dumped on the pavement out in the street.

Great location near the train station, spacious room with big, comfortable bed

A bit tired in places - mould on the bathroom ceiling and lights that didn’t work. TV hung over the bathroom door (so we kept walking into it…!) and the mirror.

very comfortable in an excellent location

an excellent, very nicely decorated 3 Star hotel with all equipment required like fridge, coffee machine, safe. Big comfortable ropm, excellent location near the city centre. No parking but public parking at reasonable prices.Really excellent breakfast! A very recomendable 3 Star Hotel!

Central location and clean, but some very basic improvements needed.

Bed was very comfortable and staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean.

Despite requesting rooms close together, we were given rooms 2 floors apart. No proper shower in one of our rooms - the bathroom had only a bath with a shower attachment. Also bathroom door did not shut and toilet seat broken. Air con was very noisy in one room. In the other room the air con did not work well at all and it was very hot. The electric fans that had been placed in rooms were not enough to keep cool.

Excellent location and overall a nice hotel for the money

Location is very good. Staff were helpful and friendly.Hotel facilities were pretty good and the the overall decor and look of the hotel was very good.

Air conditioning was a little hit an miss. It occasionally pumped out cool air but to be honest this was not too much of a problem as it was not particularly hot during out stay.

Oh dear!

Beds comfortable. Breakfasts good. Staff friendly. Lounge area pleasant.

Air conditioning not working. No offer of fan. Had to have window open so got mosquito bites. Staff member didn't book taxi on first request. Had to be reminded. Access to shower by clambering into bath which is set very high. Fine if you are young & agile.Ridiculous design. I managed it. My husband didn't. So strip wash. Pointed this out on outward visit asked for room with shower accessible. on return. Request ignored other than standard letter sent which arrived at the end of the second visit.No offer of any food or drink if leaving before 7am. We will not be returning!

great quiet location but air conditioning was not working.

great location, less than 5 min walk to Avignon Centre train station and some great restaurants off the side streets. great location to do day trips to Pont du Gard, Nimes etc. good sized room. good breakfast and nice sitting area downstairs to relax. staff were wonderful and helpful. close to tourist information Centre so if you book a tour, it is a 100 meter walk to pick up point. coffee machine in room and separate toilet to bathroom.

on our trip the air conditioning was not working in hotel so sleeping at night was not good as it was hot. the hotel provided a fan on a pedestal which assisted but was noisy. no iron in room or mini fridge . If the air conditioning worked we would definitely stay here again but unfortunately for our entire 4 night stay, it did not. We were provided a reduced room rate in return.

Very good

Great location. Nice size room. Very close to train and parking. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Walkable to town sites.

Air conditioning was broken for 3 days/entire stay. We did get a fan for the room, but uncomfortable sleeping. We were compensated with a free breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. Would rather have had the air condtioning!
