Brilliant location.
Lack of WiFi

There is plenty of space here. It is also really nice that it has two full bathrooms and a functioning kitchen. Other than that is was very nice~!
As with every place we visit in IRL/UK, the beds are a bit small. We only wish the house had wifi, traveling from America helps that with the data plans. Other than that it was very nice!

The location was amazing. The town was quaint and the townspeople were all so friendly. There's a beautiful park adjacent to the property, and a wonderful coffee and breakfast shop just steps away.
My only complaint, which I can barely call a complaint, is that there wasn't a lot of back up supplies. Our group of four ran out of toilet paper by the end of our stay.

Quaint, quirky gate lodge at the glorious Castletown Estate. Lorraine prompt in her reply and very helpful. thank-you.
Lighting a little dim. Shower room has no heating. Underfloor heating would be divine!

Very cosy & comfortable place with great location (Dublin within 30-40 mins by bus).
Swift & easy process for the keys. Bed & bath linen very fresh.
Even tought we did not miss the lack of Wifi the place could do with a TV especially, at this time of the year (celebrations, end of the year reviews, sporting matches).

Used the place before so knew what to expect
Poor lighting

Thoughtfully appointed historic property that gracefully encouraged a less connected approach to travel.
Not much to dislike here.

Easy to get into Dublin on bus route. Charming 'old world' feel.
Wifi access could be provided, along with some games or TV to keep visitors entertained. If the kitchen can have a microwave, then this should hopefully not detract from the 'period feel' too much.
Matresses a bit too firm for me personally.

I liked the historical part of the house. The location was a nice bonus as well a lot nice places to keep and park near by.
the appliances were worn. The beds are hard as a rock. I don’t my back problems and my back hurt every morning sleeping on them. The staff were not that friendly and not informative about the property.

Its very central, and close to shops and park besides it
It was not too much of a bother but theres no wifi or telly, so something to take into account if you have small children

The property was very quaint but comfortable. The host met us at the door and explained about heating and bins, etc. There were shops and restaurants within a 30 second walk of the property and a beautiful country house and garden on the doorstep.
To be honest, there was nothing we didn't like. Everything was exactly as advertised. I went with my mum and sisters and the lack of TV and WiFi didn't bother us in the slightest as we just wanted to get together and chat.

Great location . Beautifully restored property. In the grounds of a beautiful estate to make any stay especially for work super pleasant. Castletown House is well worth a visit!! Stunning place.
When travelling for work WiFi would be useful but hotspot was sufficient!

The history of the house was very interesting and was nice to have that available. The surrounding area was beautiful and great for walks in the evening.
Very aware that we had neighbours in the adjoining house and we had three small, sometimes quite noisy, children with us.
